Goal: I have multiple OPC UA Clients who will connect to the OPC UA Server (Kepserver). Trust every client is getting difficult. I cannot make the Security Policy to "None".I have created a common CA. Created a server pfx file and imported in Kepserver in OPC UA Configuration Manager>Instance Certificates. Imported the CA.dar file in Trusted Client List.I have created certificates and private keys for Uaexpert and signed them with the same CA.Created CRL and pasted in C:\ProgramData\Kepware\KEPServerEX\V6\UA\Server\crlStill I am facing problem while connecting.Is it possible to do this? Is there any other process to achieve the goal? Please guide me.

I'm looking for a way pull a specific value from a matrix by specifying the Y value through a drop down menu and the X value by interpolating the temperature. See figures.  I can't figure out a way for Mathcad to use a value in one matrix to determine a value in a different matrix. Hopefully one of you have an idea. See the figures for the tables and what I have pulled into Mathcad from Excel.

When ever I exit Creo and come back the working directory will revert to its original file location. It doesn't give me a prompt to save it to a config file or anything when i do change it. How do I save the working directory location? im using creo 8 student edition 

I have set up the code this way with the aim of successfully uploading a document to Windchill using Postman, which works fine. However, when I convert this to C# code, I don't get any errors, but in stage2, the contentInfos is coming up empty. The same data in Postman is coming through filled. I suspect the issue is in the file upload part, but I can't think of a solution. Even though I have downloaded the incoming file to a folder and provided the file path, contentInfos is still empty. Because of this, I am unable to upload the WTDocument through the code. Can you help me with this?

Hi,We're switching from Creo 4 to Creo 11. I had a mapkey to insert a symbol at an absolute coordinate. so I'm installing Creo on my new computer and I've downloaded Creo 8 but once I go to get a student license it says   "You are currently setup with a Basic PTC.com Account that does not provide access to this area of eSupport. This means that you may have an active PTC Global Support agreement however you have not yet Upgraded your Account to reflect your Support entitlements. To access this area please Upgrade Your Account." how should I get around this?

Hello Developers, I m trying to install Thingworx analytics server  -9.6.1 on my windows .but getting error below like:-I installed java jdk 11.0.12 and also configured successfully. before installation of the thingworx analytics server I used  ThingWorxFoundationMSSQL-9.3.9-x64 in my system and it works very well, however after the uninstallation of  ThingWorxFoundationMSSQL-9.3.9-x64  and trying to install Thingworx Analytics server --getting above error. please provide a solution on this. Thanks

Solve is not working for symbolic. Am I doing something wrong or is there any possible way to get an answer for this ? 

I provided text field widget with Mask Number. This field is displaying '-' symbol as default. Whenever I typed first digit the symbol '-' replaced with digit. But if the digit value passing from binding, then this widget is displaying '-9' Even though if the passed value is positive it is showing the digit after the symbol -. As i dont have option to use disable property in numeric entry widget, i have to go ahead with textfield with mask.  Kindly tell me how to overcome this symbol - when numeric value is passed from parameters.  

I have a line style question when I print out to PDF.On the B size format the part prints out with more dashes and dots. (see image)On the G size format the part prints out with less dashes and dots. (see image)Does anyone know how I can get the part on a G size sheet to look more like the part on the B size?The pen tables are the same, and the way I exported the drawing to PDFs are the exact same.This leads me to believe that the format is driving the way the part looks, sound right?Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear Mathcad community: I'm continuing to develop some calculations in Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0. On some occasions, I have encountered nested matrices that I have been able to "clean" without problems thanks to programs I found in the forum. However, the one shown in the attached file is different in a way I cannot understand, and it doesn't allow me to clean it. Using Creo Parametric 10.0.2.0 Commercial. I have created one quarter of a sketch that I want perfectly to my specifications. The other three quarters should simply be a copy and rotate of 90, 180, and 270 degrees of the first quarter. The final sketch should then just be joining them together in a circle to close the sketch. Then, I want to create the part by extruding this sketch. I successfully copy and paste my construction lines, my center point reference, and my actual lines.I successfully rotate it 90 degrees. The issue is, I can't get the end points to snap to each other to create a closed sketch! My sketch is essentially a 90 degree arc with radius of 62.5 mm, but the first part of the arc is removed for a slot that goes into the circle. I have tried clicking and dragging, but the point is the center point of the sketch which won't snap to where I need that center point to be. I tried setting the vertical and horizontal dimensions going from

Hi all,I'm struggling to find a solution to an apparently simple problem. I have a repeat region listing parts, whose indexes have been "fixed" to remain always #1 , #2 and #3 (in the desired order).Now, component #2 has been replaced with another part (different part number) and so the BoM table is now listing items #1 and #3 (associated to the same p/n as before), leaving a gap inbetween; the new item, which replaces #2 is now listed as #4 because it's the first available index. I thought I could simply fix index for the item which is now #4 and assign #2, but I get an error because index #2 is already assigned! But I can't unfix it, because it's not possible to select it (its row in the table does not exist anymore). Does anybody know how to work this around, without deleting and recreating the table? Thanks. (I simplified the example on purpose, but this scenario might apply also to assemblies with 100+ parts, where recreating the table from scratch is not an option)

I cannot seem to add a form with .designer.vb, .resx, and a .vb file to the VB API Examples project using, Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2019 (2).  Is there another tool used to build and import other forms?  Am I using the wrong environment? Thank you,Cody

I have used KepServEX for many years without issue - but running the latest version for some reason the I/O addressing is backwards. Digital Inputs are controlled with %Q - does anyone know why this is occuring?

Dear PTC-Community, I have been stuck with a design challenge and come to you as my last resort of maybe finding a smarter solution to my problem. I'm using creo 9.0.3.0. I'm trying to put 0.6mm holes which are 1.2mm apart from each other trough a body that is "twisted" in space. (It is part of a fan blade)(view in My Videos) I want the holes to enter the part on one surface and exit on the opposing one. They need to follow the geometry, but the entry and exit surfaces are not parallel to one another. My best approach so far was to make a row of profiles on a plane perpendicular to the direction in one corner of the part and use the "Pattern" - "Curve" function, selecting one of the edges as the reference curve. I also choose the option "follow the surfaces", and select the entry and exit surface. I hope the following screenshots make my process more easy to follow. when I used KEPSERVEREX 6.16 for customer First it failed to automatically tag generate device (ODBC client), than I search in the community, follow the instruction, change settings about runtime process from system service to interactive mode; it can generate the tags of ODBC client. Second I see the service of windows no runtime service, then when windows lock or log off the system automatically it will kill the application but not the service of windows, So are there any solutions to solve it?

Hello, For best practice reason, I am trying to install a second thingworx database for my project.I will have a first database dedicated to my thingworx instance.All data (stream, value stream , datatable..) will be installed in separated database : 'project_db'So the idea is to use thingworx script to install the second database, i am using this article as a starting point :https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS262935 the scripts are:thingworx-model-schema.sqlthingworx-property-schema.sqlthingworx-data-schema.sqlthingworx-grants-schema.sql My questions are : Do I need to install all thingwrox db scripts to install the second database, or I just need to install only thingworx-data-schema.sql script since we only need to store data ?If I have to install only thingworx-data-schema.sql, I notice a lot of table created ? Do I need them all or just a few tables? Can I clean the database and keep only needed tables, if yes witch tables should I keep ?The art

Hello,I have two thingworx (9.3.4) running on 2 differents containers.1- Container 1 is configured on port 80:8080 (NO_TLS = TRUE)2- Container 2 is configured on port 8081:8080  (NO_TLS = TRUE)From my host machine, i run an edge csdkit works perfectly with the first container (port 80) [See log OK]With the second container, i have an error  TW_NEW_SSL_CLIENT: SSL handshake error. Consider verifying you have compatible SSL ciphers, Error was: error:0A00010B:SSL routines::wrong version number. [See log KO]I tried to update the configuration of tomcat but it didn't work Do you have any idea how to use any port except 80 to run the edge Thank you for your help. 

Hi, I've done a direction pattern with respect to the blue directions (of another object of the assembly) in the picture.  With relations, I want to invert the direction of the pattern in relation to the constraint of the first object of the pattern.  Wich is the command that I have to insert afther the if conditions in the following relations?  Thanks a lot. Michele Barile
