I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS06we are planning to perform Upgrade from 11.0 M030-CPS06 to to 12.1.2.10 to 13.0.2.1.our team has performed the rehost and there are no physical files copied from prod vault to dev vault.can we proceed ahead with Windu, without any physical files? don't we need the physical files for the upgrade rehearsals?could you please suggest here.

Hi  I'm using Kepware KEPServer EX 6.16 and connect a Modbus TCP device. Data acquisition is ok and Datalogger in ODBC also is ok.   The process is to acquire 3000 registers and archive in a Database. I noted that when Inter-Request Delay when is set to 0 the requests to the Modbus TCP device are very very high (higher then I need) but if I set to a number near the Scan Rate (5000 ms) of each tag I don't have all the value expected in database Static Interval (10 seconds),   how can I set this parameter (or other) to have less query and stay to the Static Interval lapse? I don't have issue about timeout or delay in communications. Albe   Best Regards

Currently running Creo Parametric 7. I'm trying to auto-populate a repeat region.  In this assembly, there are two cases:1) XXXXXX-XXXXX-000, where "000" is the component find number. This is a parameter automatically generated at the part level, and can be called via relation asm_mbr_fn2) The second case is a manually entered find number at the assembly level. This can be called via asm_mbr_cparam_find_number These cases are mutually exclusive, i.eParts that fall under case 2 do not have an automatically generated asm_mbr_fn,Parts that fall under case 1 do not have a manually entered asm_mbr_cparam_find_number The components that fall under either case also have a specific naming convention. (see "YYYY", "_XXX" and "_YYYY" below) Here is the relation I have written - but it is not working correctly, specifically the second IF statement is failing. Does anyone know the correct syntax to set a dropdown field using the "Computed as" logic? For example if I want to automatically set a dropdown to option id 1, how would I do that? I have tried several things, such as choiceField[2][1], choiceField[2][0]_option[1], etc, from the Codebeamer documentation but nothing seems to work.

I'm working remotely today trying to retrieve a rather large assembly.  My Creo home directory is a mapped server drive sitting at HQ.  Not recommended I believe but that is our current configuration. When I retrieve this assembly it looks like randomly named temp files are being written to my home directory, causing this retrieval to take a long time.  See circled in the attached.  Knowing this setup is not the best, why are these files being written and what can be done until we can convince our IT people to put our home directories local to our laptops? Creo 8.0.0.0,  Windchill 12. Thanks..

I have an assembly opened in Creo View and all of the sub-assemblies show up fine in the structure tree. However, in the model tree it will only show the top-level assembly that I have open. I would like to select parts in the graphic window and have them highlight in the model tree, like how it works in Creo Parametric.  I have tried reloading the branch links of the top-level assembly in the model tree, and the next level of sub-assemblies' link correctly, however as soon as I go to the structure tree and come back to the model tree, all of those links disappear. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this I would definitely appreciate it!

Good day community, I want to get all the style definitions on my server. Then assign permissions to these dynamically using a service. I know how to assign permissions dynamically however, I am unsure about how to get all the style definitions that are on my server. I saw the spotlights search on searchFunctions it could be helpful.Has anyone tried something like this before? Best Regards,Janice

Hello   I am currently looking for a way to dynamically filter an info table via a service using a query via RestAPI. Ideally, the full functionality of the query function should be retained. Has anyone had any experience with this? In SAP IoT, the whole thing is more or less solved as a complete parameter in the URL. But in Thingworx, this doesn't seem to be possible, or am I missing something?   Thanks in advance

In Creo 7 (with Windchill/PDMLink) changing model units from inch to mm (metric) the model and drawing dimensions do not convert to commas from decimal points (decimal points remain). Was successful in previous model/drawings. I checked configs, customizations and more and they are identical from previous successes. Any thoughts are welcome.

One of our designers has a drawing that was saved in January and none of the parts or the assembly have been modified since then, except the skeleton file that is used for positioning the assembly. When he and I opened the drawing this morning from Windchill, most of the views have shifted locations and even dimensions on one view that did not shift have been moved from where they were in January.  This is very disturbing, especially the dimensioning and balloons moving in relation to their original placement. I can see something in the skeleton causing the model to 'move' but not dimensions to a view that has not moved. We are on Windchill 11.0 M030 CPS16 and Creo 4 M080.   Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.1We plan to implement BOM Redlining in Windchill. As I understand the current functionality, when an ECN is in an open state with BOM Redlining and we run a summary report, it does not display the added or deleted objects. However, once the ECN is released, they are included in the report. Is it possible to configure the report to show BOM redlining details while the ECN is still in an open state?

I see that AB has Ethernet IP based IO called the 1732 family.They are industrial, hardened IO that seem perfect for the shop floor.dsI'd like to be able to connect these directly to the Kepware Server.IS THERE A KEPWARE DRIVER THAT CAN TALK DIRECTLY TO AB ETHERNET/IP BASED IO?Thanks.
