I'm trying to simulate a constraint on a part fixed with a screw in an oblong (as shown in the image below). The idea was to constraint the region where the screw head reaches, because the diameter of the screw is smaller than the hole. Is this way correct? I'm getting high tension points when simulating, making the part not able to withstand much force in the simulations. I don't have an Advanced Creo Simulate license to use Fastener or Preload tools.   

Is this possible to do on a document IBA or does it only work for change objects, this article suggests can be done otb but there's details missing. 

I have a user who is using Cameo and wants to link to Windchill. I came across this page in the help guide. https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.0.2.0/en/#page/Windchill_Help_Center%2FOSLCServerConfig.html It seems like you need to enable something to get this to work. Has anyone done this? Also there was another article that talked about integrating Cameo to Windchill: https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS365175?source=search That was a no but I think it was answering the management of the Cameo file. That might be simple enough to do with a WTDoc soft type but what have you done?

Hello Community,   I have a question regarding vuforia Studio so we have used vuforia studio to make a checklist with around 7 pages(POP UPs- ) as you can see in the attached picture. We are using it on IPADS. This is one of the page(POP-UP) and as you can see that there are so many widgets (checboxes, textfields, Gridlayout (rows and columns )). Its working completely fine in preview but just for DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES its so SLOW!  its working extremely slow like if i select one widget then i need to wait 6 seconds so that my selection works and i can add/remove widgets and for me its very inconvienent. Anyone has an idea about it that is it a good idea to create checklist in vuforia studio? I have created one which is working fine now but now for creating second one i am already so tired and i cannot wait so long between just selection of widgets and write classes OR if i want to add new widget or remove it. Please give me your insights? what are your ideas behind?&nbsp

How to upgrade Codebeamer from 2.1 to 2.1.0.1

Hello member,   I have two views in my app called HOME AND START UP. now in Home view i have 8 popups and each pop up contains a lot of widgets and thats why its so hard for me to add or remove widgets in there. I would like to comment from popup 2 till popup 8 so that all my widgets inside would be comments it dows or i cannot see in the vuforia studio so that i can easily and quickly work on the project. As you can see in the attached picture Home.json when i comment the code from popup 2 till popup 8 and then i start the vuforia studio again then the code just appears back. anyone has an idea how to remove the existing widgets and then take them back again. please let me know about it.

Good day,I'am currently working on project that involves connecting 2 SCADA systems/servers (Cimplicity software from GE) with 5 Allen-Bradley PLCs (1x 1756-L85E, 4x 1756-L81E) via OPC-UA. Setup; There are 2 SCADA servers (A and B), they both have Cimplicity running with redundancy setup A=Master, B=Backup. Each server has KEPServerEX 6 installed on it with the same connection setup.PLCs: There is the main PLC L85E that takes care of almost everything and 4 smaller once (L81E) for some fast calculations and motions.The biggest problem that I have now is with the communication with the main PLC. The smaller once have no problems. Just having one server running gives us problems. Kepserver is losing it's connection with the main PLC almost every time we are doing  online changes in the PLC logic (Socket error occurred receiving data. Error=10054,..An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host). Second problem is that it takes 2-5 seconds to see something ch

But, I want to generate these jnlp files with this jar files included.I use Windchill 11.

hello.Currently, through customization, the user runs the service upon check-in, and the number and file name are changed. However, creating a parameter and inserting a value is not reflected in the creo session parameters.Is there a solution?

Creo Mechanism doesn't use computer resources Sometimes when creating bigger simulation with non linearities creo mechanism doos simulate this but very slowly without using computer resources. how can i fix this.Used friction, nonlinear forces derived from coordinates.

Basic stuff.For years the RELEX/WQS/WRR RBD module used to create Reliability Block Diagrams has had frustrating formatting limitations - there are great features as well, so no offense here, for example auto-alignment is a huge time saver.. Overarching Goal for PTC :Make RBD Diagram creation similar to schematic or model based architecture diagram creation.CONNECTING LINE CONTROL! - Professional results are hard to achieve when one has to figure out where to place a block simply because the auto-routed, non-adjustable connector line gets in the way. Moving a block to accommodate the placement of the line so as to not interfere with the linking icon creates excess space.  This is really frustrating when using redundant blocks, as the line placement requires strategic placement often leading to unnecessary, and large amounts of, white space . If we install DTI software 12.1 M020-CPS06 to align with Windchill 12.1.2.6 (Service Pack) and later move to Windchill 12.1.2.8, will we have to check in content, uninstall and re-install the associated DTI software on all our users PCs?  This would be a huge amount of effort if it is required for a service pack update.

I have installed and reinstalled Arbortext 8.2.2.0 several times now chosing the Print Composer option (yes Print Composer is on my license file say for 8.2). However PDF option is not where in the export on the menu...Please help

Dear PTC Community, I was recently working with a Mathcad Prime 9.0 worksheet that uses the Pdesolve function, but what I can't seem to do is define a first-derivative boundary condition (Neumann condition) in which temperature at the boundary is one of the arguments.  I get the error message "Bad algebraic constrain."  I've attached a zip file containing the worksheet.  If you can, please help me troubleshoot this issue, or else let me know that what I'm trying to do is not possible. Thanks for your time!--Bob

Good evening all. I have digitized some data points (see the 3D picture), in order to use interpolations in 3D.The data are arranged in a matrix with N rows and 3-columns, each representing a coordinate. I need to create a data matrix for the functions "Bicubic2D" and "Create Mesh". The idea is to sort the data by the Z values and for each of them retrieving the matching X and Y values. Unfortunately duplicate Z-values are found, but belonging to different set of X and Y values. I would need some hints if someone encountered such a challenge before. As the title says, when I'm in a Simp Rep of a part, I cannot edit any features or move the insert line / rollback bar. Is this... normal? Surely Creo doesn't only allow features to be edited in the Master Rep, right? That would be a complete mess to work with. 

I uploaded a time series dataset setting the temporal op type to a field containing a ISO parsed datetime and setting the type of this column as a DateTime. I took caution to set the time sampling interval to the correct number of miliseconds (every row was a 1 minute delta so samplig was 60,000) I then trained a time series model with this dataset. This strange text field keeps popping up when I accidentally hit a non-mapped key on my keyboard, and until I hit "enter" to clear this text field, none of my hotkeys work because they just keep being typed as letters into this text field. Is there any way to disable this text field so it doesn't impede my hotkeys? I'm using Creo 9, but this happened in Creo 8 and Creo 7 as well.       

Our WTParts and EPM Documents are normally in the same Workflow.I want to change it for one Lifecyclestep. Where can i change it?
