When editing a part in a assembly, it becomes very difficult to see the part that is toggled off. I'm using Creo 10I've tried playing around with the system appearance settings, but I just can't find it. If there is an option to change the opacity at all. Having the part view stay in its original view would be ok too.Any help is appreciated.  

Hi, I am using reference patterns to pattern the bolt groups in my assembly. The first reference pattern is great and everything generates as expected. See pictures attached for details. The next reference pattern of the two socket head cap screws is a bit weird since the instance dots in the feature menu show the second instance being in the wrong location. Upon generation, it appears in the correct location but it is unsettling. The third reference pattern (four bolts) shows the instance dots in the right location in the feature menu, but upon generation, only the washer is in the correct position. The bolt, nut side washer, and nut seem to locate themselves at the first instance location. It is really weird because I have the bolt group constrained the same way as the first bolt pattern in my model tree which worked fine. Any thoughts on how I can resolve this? TIA

I have a set of tags that I wish to record during a specific operation where the frequency of the logged data should match whenever the value of a single monitor tag changes. I set up a condition-based trigger where under the general settings I configured the start and stop logging conditions to reflect the specific operation during which I wish to record data, and this behaves as expected. Since I only care about logging data when the value of a single tag changes, under the Logging Conditions menu, I set the 'Log on Static Interval' field to No and 'Log on Data Change' field to Yes. I set the Monitor Item ID to the tag whose value I want to drive the data logging, set the Monitor Item Update Rate to 1000 milliseconds (I am fine with checking the monitor tag's value once a second), and make sure there is no deadband type (because I wish to log any value change). And somehow, when I check my databas

I am trying to setup custom configurations and parts, different profiles in advance framework extension. I dont want to show any standard profiles available in default folder in PTC commen files.  I added my local folder address in Library_path configuration setting as per image below.But , i still see all default profiles and connectors in AFX extension. Is there any way to have custom library folder with all custom files only and nothing from default Creo installation folders ? I am trying to set it up on some shared drive for my team and i am on Creo 8 and Creo 10 versions.

In Windchill 10.2, Edit multiple objects can mass edit an attribute, but however, for WTdocument, you have to click the radio box "do not upload file" for each item you select. This is unacceptable when editing 1000+ documents. Any ideas?(I'm clear that it is easy to write customized code to mass edit an attribute, but I'm finding a way every user could easily access.)Thanks!

Hello!I have Creo 10.0 with student license. In the past couple days when I started it up, I got an error message about my license: (-9), invalid host. I would reconfigure the license with setup.exe and it would work for a while. A day at max. I went on like this until yesterday when I couldn't reconfigure. After entering my username amd password for the license I got the very informative error message: Error!Then at home I was able to reconfigure. Then today in the morning the same thing happened. I thought maybe reinstalling could help but I can't reinstall because I get the same error while trying. Any help is appreciated:)

Looking to make use of the service: GetUserRecipientsOfEvent I am unsure of the input's and what to populate them with. I am expecting to get a list of users from the Test trigger that I've created. Here is the trigger: I've followed this guide to get the custom handler working to a point where I am able to see that the handler is triggered from logging inside the service. I am aware this this guide is for thingworx apps and I am using foundation but it does work. Working with Thingworx 9.4.4. Now I would like to get it fully working by retrieving the list of recipients and then referencing them so that I can actually notify the users included in the recipient list. Hoping someone here has used this service and can point me in the correct direction.

We're doing an upgrade from Arbortext 8.1 to 8.2 and use a floating license on the peserver. From the help text (https://support.ptc.com/help/arbortext/r8.2.1.0/en/index.html#page/PE%2Fpeinstall%2Fpe1004.html%23) I can read that I need a locked license for 8.2. I can also read that I cannot use my old license if it's used for 8.1. However, in the license portal it says 8.2 under revision.So my questions are:Do I need to change my Arbortext publishing engine license from floating to locked?Do I need to get a new license for  Arbortext publishing engine, or can I use the one I have since it says "revision 8.2"?Thanks!

My Mathcad was working and now it wont start. it lunches for a second then it will close.

I downloaded a version of MathCAD a few months ago and it got wiped when I reset my computer from a virus. Now I have no idea which license I purchased and I have absolutley no idea where to find this information out. I may have purchased some sort of student version.

Hi,So i'm currently working on converting a worksheet from MC15 to Mathcad Prime and have ran into a problem with the conversion of MC15 "otherwise" expression to Prime "else" expression. The "else" in Mathcad Prime seems to only account for the last if statement but in my case i have multiple if statements ending with an otherwise statement. How would i go about converting this to Mathcad prime in the easiest way? See a dummy example attached. Kind regards,Johan
