Hello, We are planning to migrate an existing license (Siemens Suite- Perpetual / Kepware) from our old hardware to a new virtual machine system. Based on the attached details of the license - are we going to need additional licenses/upgrades before we can transfer the license to the new system? (considering that we will be deactivating the license in the old system after migration). Appreciate the assistance with this, thank you.

Looking for a switch or option on this or I will file ticket with PTC. When Creo View launches and presents the user a login prompt, if the authentication fails, nothing happens. The user is not asked to try again or given any indication that authentication was unsuccessful.  Not sure it matters but we are using WC 12, Creo View 9.1 and AD to handle authentication from the web server.  The normal behavior is for prompt to go away and then Creo View launches. There is a pause where nothing is showing. I can tell from experience that if Creo View does not launch, I assume I fat fingered my password and try to launch it again. If I get a login prompt again, that confirms what I suspected. Is this a known issue or is there a setting to have user try again?

I wrote the same program in two different sheets , it shows error in the sheet which has more than one qcza vector values , but work perfectly fine in the other sheet which has only one qcza vector value. Can anyone tell me what I should do to edit that  

I need to use lookup function to specify the sand layer . I want to say if the value of qcza is between 5 and 25 MPa then the sand layer is in the depth that gives this range , I tried to do it , but I guess it's wrong    

Hello!I'm doing a project that involves linking variables from an Excel sheet to tags of a Siemens S7-1200 PLC through KEPServerEX. I have successfully made a connection using the Siemens Ethernet TCP/IP Ethernet Driver.The PLC is going to be attached to a PC used by an operator. This PC doesn't have TIA PORTAL V16 installed, and we'd like to connect it to our S7-1200 with KEPServerEX. We also keep in mind that this PC is shut down at the end of every shift and turn on by the supervisor of the next shift.When we did tests and tried to connect the PLC to a PC via the Ethernet port without launching TIA PORTAL V16, KEPServerEX couldn't access the PLC IP (the one that you set in TIA PORTAL). It wasn't until we launched TIA PORTAL and connect it to our PLC, where TIA PORTAL V16 added an additional IP address to the ethernet interface (192.168.XX.XXX) different than the default IP address of the interface (169.254.XX.XXX), that KEPServerEX could access the PLC address through the newly adde

In CB 2.1.0.0, I am trying to add an existing GitHub repository under the SCM Repositories tab for a project.  It prompts me for the repository name, URL, username, password, and the SCM loop setting.  However, when I attempt to save I get the error:   SCM Error: remote: Support for password authentication was removed on August 13, 2021. remote: Please see https://docs.github.com/get-started/getting-started-with-git/about-remote-repositories#cloning-with-https-urls for information on currently recommended modes of authentication. fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://github.com/pathto/repo'   I did see a reference to using sshpass so I installed that and restarted CB but it didn't give me an SSH option and I'm still limited to the username/password.  How can I add the external GitHub repo?

This was working yesterday, and during the night Windows installed updates and restarted the computer (this is on a development computer for now).  Not sure what the issue is. It connects to the DSN and says it is logging data. Then after that I get the recordset error, but no description of that the error may be.  

I am creating a service that needs to take in three Infotables and needs to access certain fields of data within them however when I try all I get is  (Error in: RR.SA.SignatureViewMashupHelper.XaxisFixer javascript service. Am new to Creo Windchill . Below image shows versions for 2D with icon for resulting change exist. When I try to access the 2D in creo , it only opens 3.1 and can not open 3.3. But creo view opens 3.3 .I am very confused on this workflow , can someone please guide me from basic to advanced on1. Purpose of this symbol2. Why four symbols3. Why Creo opens 3.1 but not 3.34. How to fix this to make symbols disappearAny videos , PDFs etc where I can get more information?Thanks

Hi team, I am trying to integrate IBM DNG with Codebeamer using Windchill Modeler and OSLC services and therefore have followed the steps in the link - Adding a new DOORS Next Generation OSLC Server (ptc.com). On the nineth point, where it's asked to enter valid Consumer Key and Consumer Secret values, I am not sure from where I need to get the correct values from IBM DNG.  I know this is not the relevant forum to ask but if anybody has any idea please do let me know.
