We are performing use case testing as part of our upgrade to Windchill 12.   We have a group of PC hardware and software engineers who need to perform the following activities.   We have a WTpart BOM structured like the following;BLD-PROG-123      Qty 1 ea, 232-281-2-16000 FLASH DRIVE      Qty 2 ea, 128-1393-2 FLASH DRIVE LABEL      Qty 1, ea, 218-229-2 PROGRAM KEY, RED      Qty 1, ea, 112-181-2 SNAP RING This structure represents the parts to 'use' to program the flash drives.  Under each part there are programming and other 'work instructions' that are performed in the context of the upper level assembly build.  What the shop sees in the end is; BLD-PROG-123      Qty 1 ea, 232-281-2-16000 FLASH DRIVE                      PROGRAM FLASH DRIVE WITH 123XYZ FIRMWARE      Qty 2 ea, 128-1393-2 FLASH DRIV

Hi All,  Every time I open CREO the option " Enable preselection highlighlighting" is turned off. I ticked it on and then tried to save the config file. still the next time I restart the CREO the option is unticked by default. Is there any solution to it? I would appreciate your help. The problem is the following: at some point, the edges of the parts in assembly become invisible in the view; only the hatching that belongs to them is visible. The section in the view is offset type, created by the sketch. These edges become visible only with ticked view setting "Model edge visibility" - "Area", but not visible with "Total" (but should be!).If I create a new view and assign the same offset section, the view is correct. But I would like to use old view, becouse it have assigned boms and hatching properties. What I tried to fix this:1. Updating view/sheet - it didn’t help2. tried to change the section sketch references - it didn’t help3. tried excluding and then including parts from the list of cut parts - it didn’t help4. tried to hide, then show all layers of the view - it didn’t help5. tried to assign a display style for all edges by default - did not help. the similar question not help 

I'm trying to turn this hole into a slot. I tried placing a palette over the hole but it doesnt snap. Is there a way to make it snap over perfectly? or do I have to line them up manually? Using Creo 10. 

Both of the variables have the same unit, however mathcad said units are not compatible why is that?

I truely don't know why this error keeps happening?!

Ideally when we use the vectors with function it should give solution for individual input. I think I am missing something?

I've been looking with interest at the API offered with Mathcad Prime, and I have had some luck in recreating some of the various PTC examples in MATLAB using  actxserver("MathcadPrime.Application")  to link the Mathcad COM server to MATLAB.Where I'm encountering issues is extracting values from a matrix. Good evening.I am trying to use user-defined FORTRAN functions in MATHCAD PRIME 10. Unfortunately I do not have the Compaq compiler mentioned in the online help. Does anyone know if other compiler such as Intel OneAPI can be used and if the procedure is the same as described in the online help? My concern is about the libraries that MATHCAD PRIME needs that are Compaq proprietary and the compiler is no longer on the market. Thanks.

Hello all, Im having a hard time figuring out why pdfs generated by the CAD worker on Windchill Server has a different behaviour from the drawings manually printed to pdf from Creo Parametric. From Windchill server, new representation PDF the ptc system parameters doesn't changed with their value, the parameter name remains- &PTC_WM_MODIFIED:BY - &PTC_WM_MODIFIED:ON-&PTC_WM_VERSION:D See the example: But if i do it manually in Creo Parametric, thoses parameters are filled with theirs correct values.Anyone has this issue? Hi Team, I am trying to install Windchill Modeler in our organization's new VM but when applying the license, the services of Modeler are not starting. Even if it is starting, they are stopping automatically. I am not able to figure out the reason like what is the issue for which the services of Modeler are not working and also the license issue could solve.  I am attaching the error images of both services and license. Can anyone help me out on this.

I'm trying to create a new view and give it a name which is has more than 32 characters. But it's not letting me type more than 32 characters(including spaces). Is there a way to increase the character limit on the Name?
