Hello, I start working with configurable module & product. I'm trying to understand how I can map configurable module parameter to CAD document. I created a configurable module with a parameter LENGHT of type length. I would like this parameter is driving the real length of my part. How CAD document can inherit parameter from configurable module? Thanks,

Is there a way in Creo Simulate to use a surface to create shell elements?  This is not a midsurface shell compression.  I created a simple "L" solid part with a surface extrusion.  I thought the autoGEM control "hard surface" would achieve what I wanted.  But it doesn't.  Is there a different setting that will accomplish this?  I've attached photos of the part and the part meshed.    

I have Thing, where I keep services and properties for my application.I want this services to be available for every user, so for this Thing I've set Permissions for group Users, with Property Write Allow, Service Executable Allow, but Property Write Deny.I have also some additional user A*, who is allowed to change properties, so for him  I've set Property Write Allow, Service Executable Allow, and Property Write Allow.Finally, settings for User groups are treated as higher priority and this user is treated like Property Write set to Deny.How to cope it without creating extra group of users, including All the users, but not A?Or is there a way to create a group, that I will create today and all existing users except A, but will in future included all users added later? *this is virtual user to be used via timers, so datas are refreshed. 

I am running CREO 10.0 on a student license, and trying to create a .mfg model.  But when I enter new model name and template the model window does not switch to the manufacturing model window.  Does anyone know if this feature is not available with a student license, or am I doing something else wrong.  thanks.

Hi, I want to compile a table with automatic calculations. In  the figure attached, I want to plot in the cell the result of a quote divided by a constant number "2560". How can I do this?  Can I recall in the cell the result of a relation obtained dividing the quote with the constant number? I have a requirement where I have to calculate the time difference between two instances of the PumpRunSignal property (Boolean), we need to determine the duration in minutes. The Pump Run Signal is a Boolean property that triggers an event data subscription and a service call when there is a change from true to false in the input from the PLC. We calculate the time difference by comparing the timestamps of index values 1 and 0 of the PumpRunSignal. However, there is a delay in loading data from Thingworx to InfluxDB when there is a false signal. To address this delay, we have implemented a 30-second Pause every time there is a false signal. While this pause logic seems effective, there is some uncertainty about its reliability, especially when dealing with multiple calculations for each Thing within Thingworx. Thank you!

Hi , We are using windchill PDM link 12.0.2.7  and we need to update Apache version from 2.4.54.0 to 2.4.58.As per PTC ,  i can update Apache to 2.4.57 with CPS 15.The next patch CPS 16 is releasing on 20 Dec 2023. So Can i achieve Apache version 2.4.58 by installing CPS 16?  Is the patch going to available in cps 16 or not?Thanks.

Hello, I am trying to display an image at the bottom of a specific page. Initially, I was trying to accomplish this using a page region, but cannot seem to do so without entering an absolute path (c:\Users\<username>\OneDrive...): or within the custom/graphics folder referenced as the pathname attribute of the _gentextgraphic element. The graphics folder I want to use is located at the root level relative to where my topics and maps reside (as referenced directly from topics as "href=images/graphic.png") This graphic only needs to display in the LOEP topic. When I add the image element into the LOEP topic, it's understandably at the break near the top of the page, which is why I assumed it needed to be in a page region defined at the bottom. Please let me know if I need to clarify with additional details. I am looking to update multiple properties by making use of the service UpdatePropertyValues but I don't seem to be getting it right. I am using python to post my data and I get a 200 response back but the values are not actually updating when I use the service QueryNumberPropertyHistory. This is the URL that I am trying to access: url = "http://localhost/Thingworx/Things/Area_Thing5/Services/UpdatePropertyValues" I have also tried: url = "http://localhost/Thingworx/Things/Area_Thing5/services/UpdatePropertyValues"  and i still get a 200 ok response, which makes it unclear which url is actually correct. my Payload looks something like this: {"name":"Item_Count", "value":1112, "timestamp":1702976380000, "quality":"GOOD"}And then I post it with a content type application/json  I have also tried with a payload: {"name":"Item_Count", "value":1112, "time":1702976380000, "quality":"GOOD"}

Hi,to verify, "Utilities - Publish and Thumbnail Control" only works for CAD, you cannot prohibit publishing of WTDocuments with that? Only way to go is customizations?Is that so also in more recent Windchill versions? I'm looking at 11.1 M020.

I have a situation where a particular field on our Change Request has different choices depending on which project they are part of.  Using Global Enumerations, I can set up the cascading dependencies to show the correct choices.  But... having to choose the project first on creation is something I'd like to avoid.  Each of our projects have their own contexts... if you create a CR in PRJ1-Library, I want the project field choice preset and the dependent field's valid choices already filtered. I can use the OIR to set the project field but it only happens after the create form is submitted.  Can this be preset so the create form already has the correct project? (I am trying to avoid writing custom code and handlers... please let me know if this a forlorn hope...)

I am using collection widget. When I select the cell, It should get highlighted. So I tried to apply style from Style Properties, the CellSelectedStyle is not working. Even other styles from the properties are not working. I am using Thingworx 9.4.2 version. PFA files.

Mathcad prime 9 wont open past the splash screen, and closes afterwards. Ive looked the problem up on forums which suggested i delete the config file, didnt work either. Do you have any idea on how to fix the problem?kind regards
