Using Creo 9.0.1.0I have a drawing program watching the state in Windchill (InWork, Under Review, Released, etc) as the state changes the drawing program updates a parameter with a message displayed on the border of the title block (“InWork - not for production use”)I need to update that program to include a new state with a new message. Right now the drawing program is unique to each drawing file. Is there a setting to reference a file that can be updated in a single location? Or any way to make a bulk update using a script Creo|SON or anything other than opening each file every time a program update is needed?

Hi, I have a question about splitting a surface in Creo 7.The face in question looks like this. I would like to split this surface where the line is. See picture.This due to me wanting to draft the faces opposite direction, one CW and one CCW of the hinge above. Product in question is to be molded, therefore the desired features.Can this be done using Creo 7.0.7.0?  Best regards, Fredrik

Hi all,     I am using Thingworx 9.1 version. when I tried to launch Thingworx composer it throws an error.... "This page isn’t working If the problem continues, contact the site owner. Folks,I have a customer who has many groups configured in their Active Directory but wants to filter Windchill access to just 5 of the groups. They have one group currently defined in <Runtime Service Name>.windchill.mapping.user.filter. Per Article CS24211 I edited app-Windchill-AuthProvider.xml and added the 4 new filters. But that article does not mention how to update windchill.mapping.user.filter for multiple filters. (I commented on that article to have them add in the missing info.) I see that there is an Edit button on that Property. I'm looking for what syntax I need to add the other filters. What is the delimiter between filter "memberOf" entries? A [Return}, comma, space or semicolon? Thanks,Mark Plimley

Good day! I have a use case where I must take some OPC-UA tags and send them to a REST server which is then connected to another OPC-UA server using ThingWorx Kepware Server on both sides. Here is what my configuration looks like:- ThingWorx Kepware Server on Remote PC configured as a REST server. This REST server is bound to one FLOAT type tag on a test OPC-UA server. I can read it and write to it just fine using powershell and my web-browser.- ThingWorx Kepware Server on Local PC configured as a REST client. The REST client points to the REST server configured earlier and reads one FLOAT type tag from the source OPC-UA server (production data). The idea is to publish this OPC tag to the REST server earlier (which should then automatically update a tag on the test OPC-UA server it is bound to). I tried to do this using the Standard Template in the REST client's message body but I keep getting ERROR 500. I can use the Advanced Template like this and it works but the value is

Hey all. I'm currently trying to work on localization so users from different countries will see dates in their proper format. I want to attach a location code to a profile and use that as a binding, so I tested with a very simple function to see if this approach would work. Below I've written some code that when I output to a div, outputs exactly as I expect in a quick demo React project when pushed to a div.CodeOutputHowever, when I do this in Thingworx services, it fails to do this, and provides a completely different format. Does anyone know what is going on here? Am I making some sort of settings mistake?

Hi, I wrote a SELECT statement that basically queries all Change Activities for all Change Orders (please ignore the * selector for now):SELECT*FROM WTCHANGEORDER2 INNER JOIN INCLUDEDIN2 ON WTCHANGEORDER2.branchiditerationinfo = INCLUDEDIN2.BRANCHIDA3A5 INNER JOIN WTCHANGEACTIVITY2 ON INCLUDEDIN2.BRANCHIDA3B5 = WTChangeActivity2.branchiditerationinfo Now I would like to convert this to a Windchill QuerySpec.What I am trying to do is to get attributes for both the Change Activity and the Change Order. For now I used the * selector but I would like to select attributes from WTChangeActivity2 and WtChangeOrder2. As of my intuition, you need to specify an "output" class for your query spec, so what class or type those objects from the Query spec belong to but in my case this would be mixed because I need attributes from both types. Is there a way how I can do this or do I need to split my query up (i.e. first query all Change Orders and then query all Change Activities

Recently posting an idea to the PTC Creo Ideas page and was getting an error stating to check the highlighted portion and fix..   What I didn't realized is that I had to scroll down quite a bit to find the errors on the bottom right of the page below the screen window that I was filling out for the idea.   Not very intuitive that the "error" is off the screen and I have to scroll down to find it. It would be better if this error was visible or if you click on the error, it show you the "highlighted" error. Thanks, Dale

Is there a way to find out what the best learner is after training a predictive model? I haven't been able to find it in the documentation or searching the menus/services. Also, for the elite average ensemble, it's stated in the docs the it chooses the best n learners, but it's never mentioned how it decides what the n number is. There's mention that they're chosen based on their predictive score, but how does it determine the cutoff between good and bad learners? It'l be helpful to know a little more about what the black box is doing in order to improve further models.
