Hello All's,I've got my profile photo for about 20 years !Not essential, but I'm wondering if I could design or buy this kind of model for using with manikin module.Just for fun and illustrations. 

I am working on a model in Creo Parametric 8 Sheetmetal and having difficulty getting a feature to mirror correctly. The model is U-shaped and on one of the legs I have created 2 identical sketch forms. I then mirror the forms about a plane to the other leg. The upper form mirrors correctly, while the lower one does not. The form has an OD of 3.58 inches and when mirrored it comes out at 3.2 inches. I have tried re-drawing the feature and I have tried mirroring about a different plane. No matter what I do, nothing seems to work. Am I missing something here? This is the original sketch form: These are the form properties:  This is what happens when I mirror, one correct one wrong:  When I correct the form to make it work, you can see the OD of the form is inside the OD of the sketch: I would like to keep the design I have if possible, it's parametrically driven and if I manually create this form on both sides of the model I will have to have twice as many parameters

Hi, I would like to model a straight part for 3D/2D-documentation purposes but in reality the part would be assembled in a groove on an assembly and I would like the part geometry to follow a curve on the groove. The same part would be used twice in same assembly and in two different grooves which have different curves.My own thought was to make the part flexible and get it to follow sketched line on the groove but I can't figure out how to do that properly. Could you help to determine which would be the best way to achieve this.Attached image to hopefully clarify what I'm requesting. I'm using Creo 8. Thanks

I have HP Victus 15 laptop with i5 12500 processor. And RTX 3050 (4gb) graphics card. And Windows 11 home. I downloaded PTC Creo Parametric 9.0 software few days ago and it were working perfectly. But some days before I can't open this software. When I tried to open it, when I click on it, it just start loading and after few seconds it stop and nothing happens. I tried to open it so many times and anytime same thing happens. and this problem happened with me some months before also when I were downloaded this software for first time. that time were deleted it were again downloaded the student edition. Everytime  when I downloaded this software it works perfectly for some days and after that it doesn't open only. Please solve this problem or give me some solution to solve it. Please sir, make it as soon as possible please. My exam are after some days and I were downloaded to practice and learn this software.  So please try to solve it as soon as possible. Thank You.

Good afternoon   I was trying to re-install Mathcad 15 (purchased 2012?) ... when I purchased new computer approx 5 years ago...I didn't have much success re-installing using "downloaded Setup  (mathcad_15_0_EN_M010_Setup.exe file....so I just used my  Mathcad 14 disc version.   Currently ... I have another computer and ...instead of  deleting install program "stuff" ... I thought I would try once more.   my product code is:    MP010201EA6466-743K-3FKX    On PTC.Setup - Mathcad 15.0 (M010) setup screen ,... I get to screen that says "select Product to be installed"  with options to select "Mathcad" or "PTC Liscense server"    When I select "Mathcad"  i get error message :  You are running Windows XP, but do not have Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher installed ...etc... this is a minimum system requirement for Mathcad15.0 M010 please upgrade your system.   I am running windows 10

Hello community,   I am trying to build a service that can check all of our thingworx platforms for projects that uses one of our extensions we have built.   To do this I am currently using the project entities "ListExternalDependencies" service and from that information filtering on the containerName (which is the name of the extension).   I was wondering though, is there perhaps a better way of doing this that I have missed? Because I am look at:   And thinking that perhaps there is some service I could use to just straight up get the same information that is used to built the list of extension dependencies shown in the project entity.   I had a look in the developer tool and found: So here I am thinking I might be able to use something similar to this endpoint?   Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.   Regards, Jens C

In the automatically executed project plan, the Estimated Start date is getting set to the Actual Start date when the activity starts and the Estimated End date is getting set to Actual end date when the activity is completed.Due to this the estimated start and end dates are always same as the actual start and end dates for running or completed activities.Because of this behavior we are not able to track delayed activities. Is there any solution to this?

Hello, sorry, I have to ask some beginner questions:1. I want to use the f'(x) notation but it seems that this is not possible. Mathcad is unhappy "variable not defined" about the f'. The function f(x) as such is defined. Is there a trick? 2. I want do document some functions without defining variables. For example "slope = (f(b)-f(a))/(b-a)". Once more Mathcad wants to force me to define b and a. But that doesn't make sense in my case since I just want to document the concept and not do an actual calculation. I use a text box with a inside calculation box to get the mathematical notifications. I feel deeply sorry that I have to bother you with probably very simple questions. 🙂  Kind Regards 

I am using Creo Parametric 6.0.6.0 Student. I have set up the config.pro file with all my preferences which includes metric units. When I open a model the units are Imperial but all my other preferences are correct. It's a bind having to remember to change it for every new part.Is there a fix?

I installed creo 10 some days ago and did some designs in that. later again I moved to creo 9, but after installing that I can't able to open the designs that I did in creo 10. Ps : I am using student version. please comment for any solutions ! When I open only I can see blank screen as shown in picture I attached.

Is there a way to set the Mathcad language? I'm German and have a German Windows system and would like to use Mathcad in English with English spelling checks. Is that possible?

Hi, We need to convert a large number of old .mi drawings created with Creo Elements/Drafting  18.1.I done some research i i found 3 ways to do that. 1) Use PTC Creo, open the files and do "save as" and select  .dwg in file format.2) Install Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 8.0 and use dxfdwg.exe that is a tool to convert different file type.3) Reinstall Creo Elements/Drafting 18.1, open the files and do "save as" and select  .dwg in file format. Of this 3 method there is one that is better in terms of quality(precision, quotas, errors,  missing elements, etc) of the converted file ?If there are other ways to do that please le me know.Thanks for the support. Best Regards Giacomo Ceresola 

I'm trying to display an image in a cell with the grid advance widget in ThingWorx 9.1.8.  I have a data table returning an HTML string for the image and the column set to HTML, but nothing is displayed.  I've verified the image name/source is correct.  I tried following this code...https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/Add-mashup-or-clickable-image-in-advanced-grid/td-p/681125   But no luck. Do you have any ideas?    

I need ideas on how to get comments sent to all participants in a workflow.Example:We have a doc called Sales Call Report, basically it's a document that is filled out after meeting with a customer.  Then it's routed around to various departments notifying them of the visit and what transpired.  People have been commenting when completing task thinking that the comments are sent to the creator.....but they are not.  I have explained that the comments are viewable only if you go back in and look for them.  Is there a way to have the creator of the document notified if a comment is entered down stream in the workflow? Hi Everyone, Actually i already have a part master number list in excel (only number), i want to create the WT Part from excel. I heard we can use the loader to create WT Part. I need a some example how we can load. I found a related document i didn't understand the .csv creation and as well as convert into xml. Please help me on this.     

If we add a boolean attribute to object type like document, values show as Yes/No/undefined...Can we remove undefined here and keep only Yes/No ?
