Upgrading TWX foundation server 8.5 to 9.4 hosted customer by PTC Cloud Services.We have following two approaches,1. Install a fresh instance on the PTC cloud and upgrade 8.5 to 9.42. Upgrade existing Dev environment on PTC cloud and upgrade 8.5 to 9.4In the existing environment, IOT devices are connected with thingworx.Which approach is good for upgrade?  

Windchill PDMLink 12.1.2 Changed the code inside the workflow expressions, and need to assign the new workflow iteration to a part that has the old workflow iteration already running. But without start the workflow over.  Need to keep the same workflow point execution for the new workflow iteration.How can I do that?   

Dear Kepserver,I'm enounter problem in data logger with error Date Time Level Source Event02/10/2023 09:34:49 Error Data Logger Plug-in Unable to query recordset on Log Group 'Glass_Data'. Reason: sp_cursor: The value of the parameter 'value' is invalid. I check the value which generated default and only rename the " value name " and not for the data type. can you help me which can cause error? 

I had creo installed on my desktop and it worked completely fine. However, I recently performed a clean install of windows 10 and tried reinstalling creo 5 but keep getting an error during the licensing stage of the installation.   I have followed this document: https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo5_unistudent_standard.pdf#_ga=2.111497284.1154185903.1540655366-485506032.1540655366 until step 4. I type in the product code, I get prompted to login and once I do I get an error message (see attached picture).   Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I am installing Mathcad 14 from my installation DVD on a new PC. All went well except towards the end a window says, "The wizard is now contacting the PTC licensing server to obtain your license automatically. This may take a few moments." Then another window pops up saying, "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden." What do I do now?   

Hi,   The Toolkit API can calculate the model's outer angle size through ProSolidOutlineCompute. This function can exclude some elements such as datum features and curves. Surfaces and hidden features cannot be excluded from ProSolidOutlineCompute() calculations. We'd like to hear your thoughts on ideas for solving these problems. 1. Exclude hidden features and surfaces of the active model, convert to STEP, and then RETRIVE to perform ProSolidOutlineCompute().: It takes a lot of time2. Use ProSolidFeatstatusGet to visit the Geomitem of features excluding surfaces and hidden features to find the minimum and maximum points of XYZ.   If you have any better ideas, please help.   Warm Regards, SeonHo CHA.

Hello, why Mathcad does not find the maximum for this simple problem - it should be when x=1, y=1 and z=1 - in total f=2. For some reason x and y are kept to 0 even when the 0 is excluded from the range of search for x and y:   Thanks!

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.0.0The drawing won't open and says "(title of drawing) cannot be retrieved". Has anyone else had a problem with a drawing not being able to be retrieved?No matter what I try I cannot get the drawing to open. This drawing has many sheets with a lot of information and will take many, many hours to recreate.

Hello Community, We have 3 servers, Dev, QA & Production in Winchill RV&S and the client preferences are by default set to production environment. If a user selects save the environment as default, there are no options in RV&S to switch to a different server. Can somebody help to understand if there is any other way?     

I have a dropdown widget that populates data after a service run. This all works fine. If I set the "SelectedText" to be one of those values, it works as it should. However, once I change this to a "MultiSelect", the "SelectedText" no longer works. Does anyone have a workaround for this? I am in version 9.0 and cannot upgrade.

Hello, Default plot of the line passing through the point (1,1) in Mathcad Prime:     My desire:  Having a point, for example: (x, F(x)) = (1,1), I would like to be able to adjust the LENGTH of the line passing through that point (1,1), in order the length of the line to be smaller or larger as shown below. hello, I have a linechart where  the margins on left and right side is to big (X-axis), I would like to fill all the available space .On the attached image I marked the space what I would like to 'cut' somehow. Because the x axis is date type and it's variable I cannot set itXAxisMinimumValues and YAxisMinimumValues parameters.(I using ThingWorx 9.1.5-b698) any idea is welcome. thank you

Hi Community, I need to control some attributes in the flow, but I have controlled them, except for a few cases.The first error is if EN_LANG attributes in WTPart are empty, it gives an error for null value.The second error is that SURFACE_M2 attributes are defined with com.ptc.core.meta.common.FloatingPoint type, but SURFACE_M2 attributes can receive values automatically from creo, and when this value is an integer (for example 1), it gives an error in getting the value.I tried to get the values of these attributes in the code below com.ptc.core.lwc.server.PersistableAdapter obj = new com.ptc.core.lwc.server.PersistableAdapter(part,null,java.util.Locale.getDefault(),new com.ptc.core.meta.common .UpdateOperationIdentifier()); obj.load("EN_LANG","SURFACE_M2"); EN_LANG=(java.lang.String) obj.get("EN_LANG"); SURFACE_M2=(com.ptc.core.meta.common.FloatingPoint) obj.get("SURFACE_M2");

I am a beginner using PTC MathCAD9.0 30 day trial version.I have a questions about how to install a function to read and write in HDF5. When I contacted PTC, I was told"In order to use custom functions in the latest version of Mathcad,you will need to rebuild DELL from the provided source using Visual Studio, etc. (Please refer to the attached zip file.)However, the custom function you are inquiring about is not a standard feature of Mathcad,so our support cannot provide a detailed response. We are unable to provide a detailed response."Please tell me how to rebuild DELL and to use the function.
