Hello, do we have a workshop or a guide for "how to create advanced widgets"? Because creating simple widgets is very easy. I've created already some custom widgets for my company, so i have experiences with that, but now i'm running in an uknown issue. I'm trying to change the bahavior of the existent BarCodeSannner. I want to be able to scan continuously until the user presses the "cancel"-button. For this i copied all needed files, renamed the needed parts so that now we have the original "scan"-widget and the copied "scan2". At the widget "scan2" i've deleted the part where the scanner stops after a successful scan. But it seems that it is failing at the initializing part. i have checked everything and followed the same steps as i did at my other widgets but it doesnt work. this why i need an advanced guide but i cant find anything.

I need  to get Property Wise data for logged properties, I have tried to use QueryNamedPropertyHistory service but seems it is too slow, is there alternatives that may be i didn't tried ?We are using TWX Version 9.3.5. 

Hello, I recently updated from Mathcad 15 to Mathcad Prime (8.0) and am having a problem with certain worksheets that contain a specific type of program. Specifically, programs where the calculation is dependent upon elements from the output vector that should already have been calculated. ie  x[i = x[(i-1) + y[i (sorry for the notation - can't work out how to get subscripts on this forum). I have attached a simple example worksheet of the problem. Is this type of self-referential programming no longer possible. If so can anyone suggest a work-around?   Apologies if this question has been asked and answered already. I had a look using the search function but was not able to find anything obvious. Many thanks for any assistance. Ian

We automated the process of duplicating the ManufDS and associated Process Plan from the MAPSB by extracting the number and name of the ManufDS and filling them into the corresponding fields of the Process Plan. To achieve this, we developed a custom class that extends the default DuplicateProcessPlanAssociationCopyOverDelegate class and modified certain methods. I'm embarking on a "remove duplicates" effort in our environment and am doing some tests to finalize how best to approach it.  The obvious "Replace with New" and "Replace with Existing" WTParts seem to be the way to go. Looks like "Supersede" and adding effectivity impacts WTPart for any downstream efforts - like eBOM/mBOM converstion and flagging components.  I'm struggling with understanding what or how "Publish to CAD" is supposed to do. Best I'm able to get it to work when I replace a WTpart in a structure is to have it replace the part in my CAD assembly and then remove everything else in that assembly. That seems the opposite of the desired behavior. Am I missing something?  Is there a feature in "Supersede" that will replace or disallow use of a superseded component or is the best it offers a flag? 

I am trying to figure out how to pass an IDF from Creo (7.0.8.0) to my electrical coworkers who use Mentor Xpedition. I have been able to import IDF pairs I have received from them and see all the components, but I can't seem to export an IDF that shows them the components. Why is it that Creo only exports an emn from an assembly and no emp? When I send the emn over and they import it to Xpedition, they get the board outline, holes, keepouts, etc. but the components don't come in and it says "Component [ref des] found in IDF file but not in design so it was not imported" and I'm not sure what that error really means. How can I give an IDF with components placed with their outlines to my EEs?  

Looking for a way to send automated daily emails with the KPI Reports from RTPPM. I have a VP that does not want to log in to ThingWorx. What's the best way to accomplish this? I imagine I can create a service to do this but was curious if there was an easier to accomplish this (perhaps a "built in" feature of RTPPM?)

Hi Experts, Problem : A bar chart and a schedule each have a data set bound. These data sets are created dynamically. Therefore the number of series cannot be defined on a bar chart. (Consequently defining style formats for individual data series is not possible for the bar chart. ) Is it possible to give the same color to the bars that have the same name from the two different charts  ?e.g.,Bar Chart: Apple_Series = Green, Banana_Series = YellowSchedule Chart: Apple_Series = Green, Banana_Series = Yellow Regards, 

I'm still learning the Creo features.I would be grateful if you could help me.I was checking out the Demo for the Enhanced Pattern feature.As you can see in the picture, there is a hole in the shape.When I checked the task tree on the left, I saw that the Extrude item contains reference elements. I tried to do something like this, but it was not possible to implement it like the method in the Demo except to set the reference element first and then Extrude. How can I Extrude like in the demo? 

I want to fetch all records from the value stream. Value stream stores the 86400 records in one day. I used the QueryPropertyHistory() which gives me only 500 rows and if I define maxItems(Data points of 3 days) it gives me a script timeout error and I want to show this on the line chart. Or is there any limit to showing data points on a line chart?
