Hello, I am need of assistance with licensing for MathCAD 3.0 prime. We currently have Mathcad 3.0 installed on one computer and would like to install it on another computer. However, I am not sure if our current license allows for multiple installations with only one user/computer at a time since we only have one license of Mathcad 3.0. So I need help verifying if our license is a flexible installation license where would could use it on different computers but one user/computer at time? If not, what are my options for obtaining another license for Mathcad 3.0? (PS. I could not create a support ticket since I do not have a product code for Mathcad 3.0 prime. I looked through all of our licensing emails back in 2014, but could not find an actual "Product code")

I have an assembly that I've created a section view of, and I'd like to export a file (preferably something like a CSV) that contains a list of the XYZ coordinates of the section. Ideally, I'm trying to just get the coordinates of the section plane's intersection with the top surface of the model, as if I was tracing a laser measurement tool along a line over the top surface. How would I accomplish this? I'm using Creo 4.0.

Using Mathcad Prime 8.0.I am trying to define a variable in a matrix format, where variable has an index i= 1,2,..5.I am able to define all variables, but cannot use a single entry, let's say d5. What is the proper way of defining my variable in such case? I tried with both matrix and table, getting same, "underdefined" fail. I also would like one oth the variables to depend on the others, namely l3=h-l1-l2-l4-l5(these are partial lengths of the entire hight of construction). Can one define such variables in Mathcad Prime?

I have a tag on a Molding press for Cooling Time that counts up and then zeroes out.  I am writing the data to a database using a trigger called New Data Flag.  When the new data flag kicks from 0 to 1 I write the data to the database.  Unfortunately the cooling time tag is at zero when the new data flag changes over.     So I think I can fix this by creating an advanced tag that will monitor the Cooling Time tag.  I only want the advanced tag to update if the Cooling time tag is not zero.  By doing this I will always end up with the last non zero value from the Cooling Time tag when the New Data Flag changes from 0 to 1.     My assumption is that a derived tag may work but I am not sure how to setup the expression.  Any help would be appreciated.

In my example, trying to split a single file into 1MB chunks.Example;source file will be available in the Repository.File test.txt in repository is 5MB.chunk size mentioned is 1MBProgram need to split and create five new files in repository with each file have 1MB size.Please help me to achieve this.

How to make numeric entry widget non-editable?

Has anyone tried to retrieve a new license file this week? We purchased some additional licenses and I added them to our server yesterday but I have not received the new license files. Usually I get a new license file in about an hour. I also requested a detailed license report about 4 hours ago and it has also not shown up in my mailbox. I did get an email about a case I opened, so ptc.com is not a blocked domain.

Hi Creo colleagues We use Creo 8.0.4.0, and I try to perform the views primarily in 3D as Combination States before I  apply them in 2D drafting,  This problem is somethin I face only for the 3D visualization.  For cross-section view I face the problem that an annotation derived from the feature dimension becomes invisible because I cut-off the attachment point of the dimension. See pictures: picture 1 with invisible dimension 15:picture 2 with highlighted dimension 15, selected in the Detail Tree:I the selected dimension is released it becomes invisible again. The dimension becomes invisible because the attachment points of the dimension is cut-off by the cross-section. (Experience from several similar situations) If I switch the section direction the dimension 15 becomes visible. BUT, I cannot switch all the times views. In ThingWorx v 9.3.9-b1648, developed a mashup with a bar chart widget to show the data and on-click of a single bar, it should pass the data the Navigation function of popup type. I believe there is a bug with Bar chart widget.  However the bar chart widget doesn't seem to send the selected bar data as a mashup parameter to the Popup function. I've set the 'selectedMode' property to single, also tried with default and multiple modes. Whereas when using the Grid widget, the data is getting passed to the popup function as a mashup parameter.  I've followed the below steps: Create a popup mashup and add mashup parameters to it, for binding it in base mashup.Create a base mashup, add bar chart widget and configure the widget properties accordinglyAdd data to the bar chart widget. Hello, I am trying to install a trial version of CREO Parametric (build 7.08), found from this link onto a Windows 11 machine (build 22621), and have not been able to get it to work. I am able to install 10.0 without issue.When I try to run setup.exe for either of these, i get a loading wheel, and then nothing happens. There, he says that most dimensions should come from the model. In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxKmlE8afhs on worst modeling strategies, he says that you should not create your model in a way that represents manufacturing. But, when I make a drawing, it is mostly for manufacturing. And if I did not build my model in respect to manufacturing, then I can not take the dimensions etc. over from the model. I also have made the experience that when I make a new model, it is built up in a way that is different to how it is manufactured. For example, the lathe operator maybe needs diameters and everything dimensioned to one edge of the part. But, when I modeled the part in Creo, I maybe dimensioned a revolve in reference to another revolve. So they do not reference the same edge. Does somebody maybe know how to deal with thi

I have a gauge that I need to change the color of something based on if the value in the gauge is above or below a target value. The target value is constantly changing so it needs to be dynamic. I create different CSS classes, and then pass the class it should look at, but I am not sure how to properly write the CSS that would change the face of the gauge face, needle, or value color.  Thanks!  ThingWorx 9.3.8

Hello, Visualization in my DEV server is not getting generated for some of the objects, I am getting an error saying, "Error: Config builder was not found for id: PSB.vizLE". Hello there, What i want: get the name of the current Step and a play function that only plays the currentStep forwarding to next Step. What we have: Play function that have not the expected behavior. It will always increment at the end even though it shouldn't. I would expect this behavior of a function named like 'playAndGoNextStep'. newStep function where we can get informations for the upcoming step that will result some wierd behaviors i will explain in the following text. In my case i use the function '$scope.$on('newStep', function(evt, arg)' where i get the name of the next step in arg. At the start we have step 1 and everything is fine.Some functions are tied to this arg and displays information specific for every step. Now we want to be able to play the same step again and again until the user presses the forward button. e.g. we are on step 1 and the user presses the play button, after that we are automatically on step 2.
