Have tried to open the installed Creo app and it won't even run - it doesn't respond at all. I also got an installation warning message saying my computer won't support some of the simulation software, but I don't think this is the main problem. I am also running this on Parallels because I have a Mac with an M1 chip.    

I purchased a student version of PTC Mathcad Express Prime 9.0.0.0 and have not received the product code necessary to activate it for the year.  I am using the 30 day free trial at the moment.  All of the links to "find my product code" send me to Direct River Solutions where they say they can't find the order - but I am using Mathcad and have the receipt.

As per the original Post.    I believe I have the premium version of Mathcad PTC Prime 9 - but "ctrl" + "enter" never worked for me either.    Actually, as far as I know, I have Professional version of Mathcad PTC Prime.  M > About > just says I have Verison Prime 9.0.0.0.  I pay something like $600 a year for the license.    Anyway "ctrl" + "enter" doesn't work for me for whatever reason.

Hi, I have a situation with a connection:Im using Allen Bradley Suite to connect to some Micrologix 1100, they are on a service called dyndns.org, which allow to see plc remotely, the thing is that sometimes Dyndns change ip address, for example when the station lose power supply and then goes online again the station wont display online status, the Micrologix cant be seen again because this causes to change ip address, I create a solution with a script using cmd sending commands, for example sending pings to the device in dyndns.org and if the ip change send commands:net start KEPServerEXV6net stop KEPServerEXV6But the bad thing with this solution is that this causes a general reset in kepserver so all the stations go out temporally, my question is if theres a way to only reset one channel or tell to refresh IP address, Im also exploring options using Kepserver API service.Using Kepserver versión 6.6.362 (Because newer versión have issues resolving hostname) 

Can I configure a Drawing repeat region (bom table) that shows parent assembly on first line followed by only first bom level components?  Recursive table shows parent at top but shows all bom levels.  Flat table shows first level bom only but does not show parent at top.  I am using Creo 9.0.2.0

Hi, is any one aware of getting the file from Application data, I have a attachment XML as secondary content to EPM Document, I want the XML as File rather than applicationContent and pass the File as a parameter to other method. Anyone aware of this please add in your comments or suggestions. Thanks

Hello I'm defining Combination States as I use them for 2D drafting views (trying to do so). E.g. Collecting all the Annotation to them which are belonging to the described product features for detailing views.For large features this works well, but for smaller features (see image) the text size jams the space.Quite quickly the model is much too small for the representation of the Combination State with all dimensions or symbols in it. I would like to know whether anybody knows an Option to make Creo automatically scaling Annotations according the computer (cad) window. So that the text always has the same size compared with the window size. With such an option I could add the 3D Annotation to very small parts, so when I zoom in (as I do in 2D with the scale for the geometry, but the text remains scaled to the drawing size). Thank's in advance for hint's.PB

Hello all,I would like to animate a crank rotation. For this I use the effect Screw Turning.Unfortunately, the crank turns around a wrong (default?-) axis (red arrow). I would like it to turn around the axis of the green arrow.  I have already tried to select other coordinate systems, but it doesn't change. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks and greetingsRamon

I successfully converted a number of .mcd and .xmcd files to .mcdx files in the last 2 days. (using Mathcad Prime 9.0 in the Mathcad Express version, but with 26 days left in the free trial period ) My computer updated and restarted last night (Windows 11). Today, the .mcd files I have attempted to convert have failed. The xml log file for 1 conversion said "Could not start Mathcad conversion process. Check that .Net Framework 3.5 Windows Feature is enabled". I enabled that feature in Windows (following the Microsoft instructions), and restarted the computer, but subsequent conversions also failed. The same message is in the .xml log file of the conversions attempted after enabling the NET Framework. I have attached the xml log file and the log.txt file that were produced in the conversion process. Thank you for any help that can be provided.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.4.0I'm an IT system administrator and I have a single user having an issue with the speed of loading and exporting drawings to our servers. I currently have article CS49886 up and i've investigated the files and locations mentioned in the article.1) I need to know if I just delete the whole .wf file in order to clear the cache or if there is another method.2) in the suggested technique for improving retrieval performance article I can find config.pro and the value Trail_Dir but I cannot find the value Use_tem_dire_for_isnt to alter it to yes. to all Doing a sanity check on the CFFT for another spectrum analyser in a 1/3 party toolIf one has a sine wave Asin(w*t) then a spectrum analysis will return an amplitude a=A/2 at w (or f= 2piw) . Am I correct?Therefore if one only has the spectrum as an output (and not the original time signal) then one can read the frequency (w or f ) and conclude that the sine wave at the freq (in the time signal )has a peak value 2a! Thanks in advanceJohn

We have the original manufacturer part number as a parameter in the Windchill wt file. I need to get that information into my drawing BOM. How can I go about this? Using Creo 7.     

I am using Creo 8.0.4.0 software, As I am creating the sketch and adding the points to find the coordinates values and adding the values in parameter, is there any other way to find out the coordinate's values of the boundary box without adding the sketch and creating points and add. I'm trying to get a programmed text output from testing if a point is inside a circle.  All of the points are either secondary ohms or degrees.  The chuck of programming seems to fail if there are units attached to the numbers.  See Below.   

This is really weird and I have playing with it for 2 weeks now. All systems do the publishing on their Windchill server. Mix of Windows 2016 and 2019 servers, but I don't think that natters, All systems running on Oracle. System 1 - Windchill 11.1 M020 CPS20 Creo 7.0.10.0 CreoView Adapter 7.1.1.0 Publishing starts automatically when a file is either requested or checked-in. This is the desired configuration. System 2 - Windchill 12.0.2.10 Creo 7.0.10.0 CreoView Adapyter 7.1.1.0 Publishing does not start automatically. If I manually start the Proeworker, then the system will publish the files as expected. I just disconnect from the server and let it run. System 3 - Windchill 12.0.2.12 Creo 9.0.5.0 CreoView Adapter 9.1.0.0 System is a test system updated from an initial 12.0.2.8 install to 12.0.2.10 to 12.0.2.12. Hello PTC community,Please advise how I can solve the issue; I animated 3d arrows in Creo Illustrate but they did not show up in Vuforia Studio. Can I still make the show up somehow? Arrows go all over the 3d model to point users to little parts so I wish I can keep them. If you know a simple solution to point user to little  hidden parts please advise.   

Hello all, We have recently been upgraded over to Creo 8.0.8.0 from Creo 6.0.6.0. There has been issues with only a single system/user having certain assemblies or their associated drawings crash, but other systems/users have no issues when attempting to access the same assemblies/drawings. The system that is having these issues is the most advanced in terms of hardware, and the other users accessing these same assemblies have not had similar issues with more dated systems. This is occurring after uninstalling and installing again, also after having our IT provide admin access to bypass any firewall issues. I am still unsure if this is an internal issue or not though, as another user just received a new laptop with not as advanced hardware but similar system securities and does not have similar crashes, so that leads me to believe it may be Creo parametric itself. I have spent much time trying to research this topic independently until a recent crash caused a JSON file t

I went through any related topic in the community and the support portal but haven't found the solution yet. I'm 99.9% sure its easily possible. We are using Creo 9.0 We have a parameter in parts and assemblies OBJECT_DESCRIPTION that is also listed as a column in our BOM. Sometimes I find rows in a BOM, with empty Description. In that case I use the Search Tool to find these components with different search criteria, but the most effective way would be to search for the parts that HAVE the OBJECT_DESCRIPTION parameter, BUT it is empty. I attached some pictures. I tried in the search for NULL or "" but that didn't help.

Hi everybody,I have calculation sheets that utilize a reference to a different sheet that contains subroutines to calculate coefficients, factors etc. for the main sheet.In Mathcad 15 this works just fine, in Mathcad Prime 9 however, an error message (see attached image) is returned by Prime, claiming that there are errors in the calculation sheet.Has anybody figured out how to find these errors? When I open the Prime sheet no indication is given that points to the error. As I said, the sheet works in Mathcad 15, so I assume that the calculation is ok.Any ideas?Raiko
