Hello everybody, I am creating a design of wiring harness in schematics and I would like to do a flat harness drawing in creo cabling afterwards. Is there a way how to display in flat drawing version of XML file which was used for creation of 3D harness? Eg. if I export file from schematics named XMLdesign012023.xml and then import it into creo cabeling. Can I automatically in creo flat harness drawing display something which says Design based on: XMLdesign012023.xml I can write it manually, but we are more people working on the harnesses so there is a change that someone will forget and than we are not able to know what was the source and if the design from schematics is reflected in drawing or not I normally use repeat region feature to view cabling parameters at drawing, could it be done in similar way? Or maybe via parameters? Thanks everyone for answers

Please see the image.  It is a side view of a part, with the sketch of the proposed bend. I need to bend just the end (above the sketch) so it follows the sketch (which I can do easily with a spinal bend), BUT I need to control the orientation so things that are vertical (as in this view) remain vertical when complete.Geometry with the sketch to form. Normally, with a Spinal Bend, the geometry follows the curve and makes the geometry "wrap" with the curve, meaning things that started vertical will be perpendicular to the spine (sketch shown above).  I want the vertical things to stay vertical, but the shape to "droop" to follow the curve. I don't remember for sure, but it seems like there used to be projection controls with a spinal bend to do this.  (Not AREA controls.)  I feel like I've done it in the past. This part geometry is complex enough that I can't really create it in the correct shape.  The part is quite deep (into the screen from the

Objective: I want to see list of drawings that are in 'PRODUCTION' state only. I've changed the Lifecycle State filter to include only 'Production', but after I run the search, I see drawings in different states such as 'In Work' , 'Under Review' and 'Production' etc. Is there anything that I'm missing related to the filter?

Hello,I am trying to recreate this model from solidworks model mania 2005. (https://blogs.solidworks.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/Model-Mania-2005-Phase-1.jpg)I am having some trouble recreating the lower part that is the blend from the oval section to the circular section without having lines.As can be seen in the drawing there seems to be no indication of where the circle section should be divided to create the blend (and no such lines appear in the solidwork model), I merely drew a centerline connecting the separation lines for the oval section and used that to divided my circle. Is there an error in my approach or is this a case in which solidworks and creo functionality differs? Here is a link to their solution video (timestamped) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKgWcBTxD5I&t=8m49s I am using creo parametric 9.0 student edition. 

For the american eastern time zone, the UTC Offset is -5:00 during standard time and is -4:00 during daylight saving time.  For this year, Daylight Saving time started at 2:00am on 3/12/2023 and ends at 2:00am on 11/5/2023.  So, I expect that this service should return -4:00 for this time period and -5:00 for all times before and after those dates. However it actually returns -4:00 between 3/11/23 9:00pm and  11/4/23 9:59pm. So, it's like the service thinks that DST starts at 2am UTC, instead of local time.  So, to figure the offset it converts the given time to UTC and if it is between 3/12 2am UTC and 11/5 2am UTC it returns -4:00. Here's a screen shot of the service:Am I correct in thinking the service doesn't work properly? Thanks,Steve

When editing a family table cell, the cursor goes AWOL (missing) and I have remember how many left or right arrows to edit text in a cell. I am using Creo 9.0.4.0.   Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts to a solution.   Brand new systems with the specs called out for Creo 9.0.4.0.

I am now working on a customization where I have to create an export of Parts List data in that particular Information Structure based on the Service Effectivities present in the Service Effectivity Filter. When I am trying to get the Service Effectivity of a Parts List object it is giving me zero value though the service effectivities has been defined in it. Good day Community, I have an Info table that stores the sales of fruit a day. See (MyTable.png)<MyTable> I want to add the number of fruits I sold each day then reorganize my table to that the day that has the highest sales can appear at the top of my list, and the day I on which I had the least sales should appear at the bottom of the info table. See the image below:  I've written up a piece of code, however I have hit a wall because the sum of the sales per day is not correct. Just wondering what the heck is the difference between Sketch and Skeleton features?For example, when I do Copy Geometry, I know I can copy Sketch elements from a regular Prt file, so I'm wondering why I should buy AAX and get the Skeleton feature.

I'm currently using the following lines to create an infotable from json:     var json = { rows: jsonData.run_history, //an array of objects dataShape: DataShapes["SomeDataShape"].GetDataShapeMetadataAsJSON() }; /////////////////// //Loads json data to an infotable var data = Resources["InfoTableFunctions"].FromJSON({ json: json });     I'd like to add more data from jsons to the infotable, but the FromJSON service replaces the previous data.  Is there a service that adds JSON data to the infotable?  Kind of like .AddRow?  I'd like to avoid using a for loop to add each row one-by-one as there are many rows.  Also, is there a limit to the size (MBs) of the infotable?
