I just received an email that the fix for the cursor disappearing in family tables will be in Creo 9.0.5.0. Can someone help me find a link to the release dates since typing "Release Date" into the search bar for PTC.com does not come up with any helpful results? Thanks.

Hello, Can anyone help me on this? I'm running global license from a Host but no backup server, there are other option then TRIAD? If someone have other idea please let me know.  Running Creo parametric 7.

In Arbortext Editor 7.x you could create a shortcut to the application go to properties, then add -styler to the end of the link in the target field. It would look like below: "C:\Program Files\PTC\Arbortext Editor\bin\x64\editor.exe" -styler Is this not possible in 8.1?    

I am a student and I am doing internship under an organization and they taught me about Thingworx. We are creating a project and they gave me a task to create tags for user roles which we are going to add in our project. I do not know very much about tags, I just know that tags are use for grouping and filtering. So I want to know is there any other way to use tag?    

hello,  hope your doing all well. I have a thing with some thingShapes, binded to a kepware where it gets the data. the problem is some properties i created on shapes has string as a type, and on the kepware they are numbers, and this causes a problem for me when quering theme from influx with aggregate functions (mean....).i tried to modify adapt there types on the thing-> my properties (where there is an exclamation mark ) , i click on the property then i click on applay , it changes there type to the proper one, but after saving , it go back to the previous type. also tried to create new properties and deleted the wrong ones, they are not visible on influx, only the old (string) ones are there,my question is : -can i change a property's type after it's on influx without changing the name?- is there a way to force the types on the sources, not on the shapes ? thank you all*i am new to thingworx (few months).

Is there any benefit of wrapping whole service into anonymous function? eg. (function() { const someText = 'test'; logger.info(someText); })();  const result = function() { const someText = 'test'; return someText; }(); I'm not sure how local variables (service scope) are managed after the service execution completes/fails. Are those variables continue to exist, even if we cannot access them? If yes, it would make sense to wrap whole service into anonymous function, so we are sure they are destroyed after function returns.I saw this approach few times and it makes sense for me when the service returns value - we can use return statement in any place in the service, but I'm not sure about memory/security benefits.Is there any documentation on how ThingWorx manages the cleanup and disposal of resources associated with the service execution?

Hello all, in my Windchill-12, in Representation/Annotation table, initially it was showing 1 representation but as soon as I updated and promoted the drawing to released, it is now showing 2 same representation. how? is it okay if I delete the other representation ? see snap attached   Br,Sandeep C.

HiI want to calculate the maximum deflection of a structure subjected to bending. The deflection occurs within the buckling length, defined as the deflection within the points of inflection i.e. where M(z)=0. I have plotted the moment and the deflection in the attached file, but need further assistance finding the maximum deflection within the buckling length (see page 2 in the attached file).  Any help appreciated!

Hi.I'm looking for a better solution to generate the tap (G code) file faster.Creating the G code from Creo takes more than 20 minutes for per component and at that time I cannot use Creo (Creo is busy with this conversion from NCL to Tap format.Do you know any solution to generate the Tap file remotely or using different approach and not keeping Creo busy with this conversion.Thx,CC

Does anyone know how to create 'Angular Running Dimensions' in Creo Parametric?  Our Solidworks users are asking how to do the same thing in Creo.  These are sort of like ordinate dimensions, but around a circle.    

Hello all I am trying to use the manufacturing side of creo to make a couple basic parts and it seems to be not posting the G90 or G54 lines in the nc code, below is a screenshot of the beginning of the program. I've used a few other CAM systems but this is the first time I've tried using creo for machine toolpaths, so I might have something not set correctly. Below is the post I tried using, it said it was for a HAAS VF8. Does anyone know what I need to change so these 2 lines of code will be in the nc code output?

Hello,   I am user of Windchill 11.2 and CreoView 6.0.  What I am curious about is when we open up structures from Windchill into Creo View, sometimes there are items that will not visualize.  Which I know there is many reasons for this as I have become proficient at figuring this out.  The problem I have is finding these out.  Some of our structures can be over 1500 branch links and I really don't want to click through each branch link (or expand by all levels) to find these.  Is there a way to search or sort by items without a checkmark next to the item?  See picture of example.  Thank you for any feedback.
