I'm using Creo 5 and can't figure out how to mirror multiple components either.  I can't believe this isn't available!?  Does no one using creo make symmetric assemblies?  Is it available in Creo 8?   Well, I'm off to make my 11 individual mirror features about the same plane.

Hi everyone, As a chemical engineering student, I am trying to solve a pipeloop problem.  I stated all the necessary balances (see below):And the other necessary formulas:which I want to solve for Fh(v),Fo(v) and Fc(v) from v=0 until v=VL. now I've set up this solve block:  which in theory seems solvable, as there are 5 unknowns and 5 equations. Is this the correct way to solve this problem? With kind regards, Tim                    

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.4.0I want to use PTC_WM_CREATED_ON in the condition.mcc file. When trying to use >= it does not check the file properly. The following syntax is used (PTC_WM_CREATED_ON GTE 20200603). The string value shown in PTC_WM_CREATED_ON is not recognized.

Hello, I have an application where Kepserver EX6 is used to read the present value of a temperature controller (Autonics TF33) which has RS-485 connection. Moxa NPort 5150A acts as gateway for the device to the Kepserver. The diagram of devices are attached. Currently, I have good quality of connection to the modbus address of the device, but reading is 0. Furthermore, in order to get clear picture, inside the NPort Web Console, I set the IP Address to its default (192.168.127.254) and operation mode set to TCP (Device is TCP Client) where destination IP address is the NPort IP Address. Details are attached also. Then, inside the Kepserver, I assign channel as Modbus TCP/IP ethernet with port number as same as written in Moxa (i.e. 502). Then, the modbus address I took from the manual of the device (attached).Any thought/help on this would be great appreciated. Thank you

Hi,   I am trying to connect an OPC UA Server to a KepServer using certificates at both machine and user level.  In the machine certificates part, I have already managed to communicate both devices, using an example user.  When I try to configure the communication without a user and communicate via certificates, I can't find where I have to configure the certificate. Best regards,

I have one postgre script and I want to Triger that script in every 8 hours. I create one scheduler and set the scheduler time for 1 min and call the postgre script on scheduler service now I want to check the script is running in every 1 min or not. please help me with this issue

We just upgraded to Creo 7.0.10.0 from Creo 4.0 M150.  Does anyone know how to turn off the command information text in the upper right corner of the command ribbon?  This is not a big deal, just something that annoys me. 

Hello, I have a requirement where I have to populate an attribute if a specific value was selected for one of the other attributes. The user will not view the object after editing, so I cannot make of data utility and layout. I know that we can use a data utility to record the onchange() event using comboBox and invoke a jsp file. But I am not sure what exactly to be done after invoking a method in jsp file since I want to invoke a java method which will do a set of validation and manipulation to calculate the attribute value. Requesting all to shed some light on the possible solution. Thanks,Hari

hello, if I remember correctly, when I put an attribute in the more attribute layout, it was not showing on the screen if no data was entered into it. However, at the moment, the attributes that I added to more attributes and did not enter data into appear on the screen, creating a bad image.  How do I prevent the attributes that I do not enter data into appear on the screen?

Hello, I wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with this issue before. The exploded-lines that I create for my exploded drawing views are constantly disappearing or should I say, getting deleted. I have no clue why this is happening. I'm very meticulous with saving my views along with my drawing files too. Yet often when I close the file and open it back up again, the lines are gone and nowhere to be found in the model tree. This is beyond frustrating. I just wanted to ask if anyone else has these issues too.

Hi! I have problem in my creo version 8. I cannot add H7 tolerances do some drawings. For some I can, for others I just can't see the option to do it. I tried to change settings of models, add tables with Hole tolerances etc. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas? I am attaching 2 examples - one is a drawing where it works, other where it does not.

Hello, If my understanding is correct, there should be a timestamp saved together with the value if kepware loses connection to thingworx. Is there any documentation existing around this?Especially important for us is how we can get this timestamp and use it together with the value. Any help around this would be much appreciated. Regards,

I'm looking to see if my company has an available license for mathcad and if not possibly acquire one. Our PTC account gives me access denied when trying to manage licenses and I'm unable to upgrade the account as I don't have the information necessary.

The xtop.exe says that thoes libraries are missing after windows updates, and I'm currently using windows 11.   xalancmt.dll xercescmt.dll btkunzipmt.dll btkzlibmt.dll   Don't know the folder adress of these and some of thems are not able to download by the search.

Hello, Are there any configs that auto suppress failed parts on regeneration?  I am opening several parts for research that I need to regenerate and the failure diagnostics really slow me down.  Is there a way to suppress this function? Running PTC Creo 4.0 Thanks for the help!

While working on drawing, "license lost" message along with "offline mode" message (see image). I cannot click anything.  "offline mode" message appears but not clickable. I cannot bring "license lost" message to the foreground of the screen. Drawing is saved but it would take 2 hours to re-open. Solution? 

Using Creo 7.0.5.0 Q: How can I find the Body ID's in an assembly? Reason:Error Diagnostics for Analysis/Assembly FailureAll position constraints can't be simultaneously satisfied. The following position constraints can't be satisfied:1) The following kinematic loop can't be closed: Ground - body38 - Ground. The bodies in each part is called Body1 (by default, I don't model multibody parts), making this information rather pointless. Can't find any model tree column that tells this information either.

Can you go back and revise a Promotion Request after it's been approved? I know you can reject and send it back for rework, but that's only before it's officially approved. 

After Windchill Upgradation, In thingworx there was windchill and navigate connectivity issue. So I removed sslClientAuth from BaseURL and changed authentication type to Fixed in connectors. Now the service ValidateConnection status is Success in all connectors. But After Windchill Upgradation, With the same BaseURL https://windchill-dev7.polarisdev.com/Windchill/sslClientAuth and same Authentication Type the Navigate API should work right!!. Any idea on how to make it work with sslClientAuth ??

MathCad 14 factored the function sinx(x). It is known from other investigations that this function has only real zeros. If you now look for the zeros of each factor (the terms are in parentheses), then MathCad calculates complex zeros that cannot be simplified. Hello, I have been struggling to get a function working where I check for if a filter query is coming into a service empty (no filter has been added).  First I thought it was just a normal JSON and tried to use .length().But by doing so I receive this error message in the output:I have also tried using isEmpty(), but receive the same error message as with .length().So my only conclusion is that this type is not actually a JSON type. Some other "issue" is that when logging out the value, it can be undefined OR just '{}', I guess depending on if we have had a filter after first load or not. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Regards,
