Hello, Can someone tell me why Mathcad isn't able to solve this simple variable? This command works everytime but with these types of equation it doesn't:  I have tried other commands but it still doesn't work:   The solution is quite simple, but I would like it to do it automatically:   Can somebody help me? Hi Folks, I'm converting V15 files to run in Prime 8, but can't figure out out to remove the red arrows and red lines.  The file runs.  Right clicking on the arrows doesn't do anything.  I can't find anything in the online documentation.  I must be missing something.  Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks, Mark files using the converter in Prime 8.  

I'd like to specify a matrix size and have it filled with elements from a vector. For this example, I have a vector containing state names and I want to have them fill a 7x4 matrix. I'm running into 2 issues with the attached sheet:I'm very rusty on programming and matrix operations, so the only way I've been able to fill a matrix at the size I want is to reference the specific elements of the vector. I'm sure there's a simpler way to do this using a loop but I haven't been able to figure it outIf the vector changes size, I'd still like to be able to output a matrix with zeroes filling the rest of the nodes. Currently, if I set up a 7x4 matrix and the vector only contains 16 states, the output matrix errors outAny help with this would be greatly appreciated!  

Hello, I bought the student version of Mathcad prime 8 in April 2022. I have been using it for a couple of months without any issues. Recently, the program does not open anymore. Also my Mathcad file do not open either. I tried to uninstall it and reinstall it again but it did not work. Can someone help me fix this problem please?! I am using Windows 10 (64bit). Hi community, We have a drawing template for our company which looks like this. The BOM table and Revision table are currently part of the template itself.  Recently we released a new version of format. Upon changing the format to latest format for existing drawings some users faced some issue with Revision table (the lines of older table did not exactly match with new table). Post this problem now we are evaluating whether to keep BOM and Revision table as part of drawing template or add them as separate tables What is your opinion on this?How do other companies handle new format rollout? Any response would be appreciated Thanks in advance Regards,Prasad

Hello my friends, I was required to convert my solution which is based on the makefile in favor of Visual Studio (2019) project. I compiled and built my product using property sheets, but I cannot unlock it with the following message: "Unlocking this application requires option 294." I checked all the licensing, and it is perfectly OK. I found the similar case described in Article - CS274507 Error "Unlocking this application requires option ObjectToolkitCpp" while unlocking an OTK application even though the OTK license is available as part base license of Creo Parametric. The resolution of PTC is that works as expected and to unlock OTK CPP application user need to have separateFloating license option of ObjectToolkitCpp (294) license. The unlocking worked fine with makefile. I checked documentation and did not find out what is Floating license or how to use it. Any suggestions?

Can anyone tell me the allowable values for publish.usesPublishRules in wvs.properties? Mine is currently set "=ARBORTEXT" I see in article CS81396, it says to use "=ARBORTEXT PROE" for Creo publishing. I need to set it up for both Solidworks and Creo. Should my value be "=ARBORTEXT PROE SW"?

My calculations fall over when I change to inches. Prime 8 Used. Then won't work when I chage back to cm      

Ignore the comment annotations. Edge opens PDF fine and looks good. Adobe looks like this poor quality below. How would you describe this issue so I can google a solution? anyone know the fix to render right?

When I was using Creo 4 I was able to modify the Parameter drop down box to include specific ones I wanted without having to go to the whole machine parameter box. I'm looking to add an action to the PrimaryContent attribute in General group under the Details Tab as shown in the attached image.Just like how the PDF icon in the value downloads the PDF when clicked upon, I need to add another icon that performs an action.Could anyone help me with it? Need API ways or any other workaround.

On the mold flow analysis setup tab, I cannot see optional simulations tab which involves sink mark simulation check. I want to make a sink mark check for a part but since I cannot check this box, I cannot reach any results. 

Currently I am using excel for all my design calculation. I wanted to know if mathcad is better and how is it better. 

Set up program says that it cannot find the sw_license_email_95084.dat file. I cannot get MathCad to run! what do I do? I can email a snip of the screen.

Hi, I was wondering if we can design a custom symbol in CREO where instead of typing variable text in dialog box, we can directly type the variable text in Annotation note itself: For example:On typing "&sym(TRIANGLE_1) THIS IS A TEST NOTE" I should get following result :   And on typing "&sym(TRIANGLE_2) THIS IS A TEST NOTE" I should get following result :   AND HENCE FORTH.... I have seen similar capabilities in other design softwares, was wondering if similar approach exists in CREO. Please let me know if this can be done, since I am working on an automation tool. Any coding based approach are also welcomed, since I have some knowledge on vbapi libraries of CREO.  Thanks and Regards,Prasad 

I have doubts how to solve a certain problem.I have big table of numbers in DATATABLE.- Each row may have a different date- I need to sum the numbers in the rows- Then take the arithmetic average of the numbers in the row- Then I need to be able to select the date (range) to calculate the average of all days(rows) in the selected range.I am wondering how I should go about this.How to divide the whole task into services? 

Hello,I have now tried to download and install MathCad on my macs virtual machine Windows 10 64bit but all stops at unpacking 100% and tthe nothing happens. The window just closes. I have tried running as administrator and all other programs install well but not this one.How can I finally get it to install?I have tried installing it from my desktop NAD even created a TEMP folder in my C:/drive and installing it from there but the behaviour is the same - it never starts the install-wizardHow can I proceed?ThanksDominicus

I am creating one generic service to return the infotable values as HTML codes in the format of string output. But unable to fetch the column values dynamically, for ex: my column names are stored in the array as ['col1', 'col2'], etc... Hi, I have recently installed a standalone version of PTC Windchill (v8.5 formerly known as IM) in order to check a model received and then export it for use in the latest PTC Windchill product.  I have the enabler service running and can currently see an Example and Model repository.I was delivered a .SAV file in a SAV.ZIP file.  I am unable to import the .ZIP (no model information) from PTC IM and unable to see how to Recover the .SAV file (unzipped) using Repository Administrator (running in administrator mode).  Can anyone please help by instructing me how to load the model into a repository?  Many thanks 😓
