HelloI have a mashup with a led widget. I use getproperties to get the value and i am activating the auto update values from mashup I have a weird behavior :When i change the value manualy from the thing the property is updated automaticaly on the mashup (no problem)When the value is changed from subscription function , the value is changed in the thing but  the led value still not changing and i have this error on the log monitor :Error Executing Event Handler 'ForwardEvent' for event Type.Thing:Entity.MyThing:Event.DataChangeI get the value only when i refrech manualy the page.the auto refresh widget does not exist so i have no other alternative. I search in all the topics in the community but none is a solution : 1 here  and 2 here  My thingworx version is :9.1 My code work perfectly on 9.3 version Any help is welcome. Thank you.

I have a text file with comma delimited numerical data.  I read it in to the "ld" table and then have a program to parse through and build a matrix from the data (data file attached).  My questions: 1) Can I replace the "11" in my for statement with something like "length of (ld)" so my code works when I change the number of rows of data? 2) Is there a way to build the Ypos matrix without using the intermediary Yp matrix?  I know Ypos is only defined inside the program - but is there a way to make it "global" or such? 3) Is it possible to populate 2 different matrices with 1 program?  So my code would create both a Yp and a second matrix?  If my code creates a Ypos and Yneg how would I pass both of them out?  thanks,relayman357  

Hello, I'm trying to follow the Connect Kepware Server to ThingWorx Foundation tutorial here.  However on step 4, "Test Connection", I'm stuck because my connection has failed and the Simulation_Examples_Functions_Random3 property doesn't ever change and the Industrial Thing:IndConn_Tag1 thing remains disconnected.  The Industrial Connection:IndConn_Server thing shows connected and I can click on Discover and see the tags from my kepware server so I don't know why it thinks it's not connected.  Errors present in the app log: ErrorCode(ab084a75-29f5-48e0-bc81-237601e39af0), Cause(null), Reason(Access was attempted on a null reference variable.), Possible Resolutions(Remove the reference to the null variable within your extension code.) If I copy several rows of code from a program, and paste them in I get an extra "indention" set of double bars.  I want the pasted code to have the same "level" as the code in which I'm pasting it.

What ever changes I make in the Widget Properties the following issue is repeating again and again, the TimeStamp can't be seen totally on the dashboard, it is only half shown.    Thanks,Shashi

Hi, I tried doing the same and was able to reset the password and user. But it still does not do anything and does not let me access the settings to activate the "Interactive" mode. My intention is to do DDE from/to an Excel sheet as well.  I must say that my Kepserver install is  still a DEMO. Is this the reason why it won't let me?    In addition, Can you provide DETAILED instructions to use the Excel RTD function? ProgID name, Server Name (location), and the nomenclature for the specific items. An example would be very nice to have.    All the above is me testing with the DEMO before deciding to License. What's the best way to create a curve along a spline through points without having to manually select each point.  Is there a way to enter a range (Ex. Point 1 - Point 100) where it will select the points that way?

Using Creo 7.0.5.0. As Creo use this Session type of environment and never warns you about closing a single file due to unsaved changes I'm more or less saving all the time (afraid of loosing stuff in case of a crash). This leads to creating a lot of duplicates of the same files (or miniscule differences). It only warns when the session/program as a whole is closed, and then you better be sure you saved everything that you closed previously.... Then I realised this:- Even if I open A FRESH instance of Creo, and open NO files, does no changes to any settings or similar and then close down: CREO STILL WARNS about closing the session and loosing unsaved work. This means the warning is just a dummy prompt that has absolutely no clue of if the files have been saved or not. I'm sorry to say this, but HOW ON EARTH can such a high end software be this.... st_pid?!  Even Notepad can detect changes properly....  I've searched for other threads and ideas about this, but n

Hi all, I am using Thingworx 8.4.3 and Kepware 6.6. I have established the connectiving between Thingworx and Kepware successfully. But somethime there is an error on Kepware "Device is not Responding", but I don't see any change in my signals. The quality of signals is good. I want to raise an alert/ alarms whenever this error occurs. Is there any way where I can store this error into some Tags on kepware and then fetch that tag to thingworx and then raise an alarm or from kepware itself an alram can be generated ?        Thank you!

Using Creo 8.0.4.0I have an assembly with 4 simplified representations-each state represent a stage in the assembly process, so the simplified representation begins with few components and the final one has all the parts. I need a BoM table on the drawing sheet, which I made by linking the repeat region to the default rep which lists all the components within, but I am facing issues with BoM balloons. How do I make BoM balloons to appear on the different representational views?I tried creating multiple tables for each representational view, but then the tables will have reoccurring parts and since the repeat regions are different, I can't find a way to get rid of duplicate parts across different tables. Alternatively, I tried a different approach where I do not use simplified representations at all but used different layers to hide parts and created 4 combined states with those layers. But on the drawing, I cannot select the combined state along with the default representation.&nb

Hi, I was doing some calculations using Prime 7 and Excel through macros. Basically, the program passes some values from Excel to Mathcad to calculate and the results are printed back to Excel. It worked fine. I recently formatted my laptop and installed Prime 8. I am waiting for the license so, in the meantime, I am using the 30-days trial with full functionality. I tried to use the same Prime-Excel program but it shows the following error when I run the macro: "User-defined type not defined". I have the Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.tlb file to VBA, as shown in the attached image. Is there something I am missing? Maybe this functionality is restricted to users with license? Thanks!

Hello! Currently I'm working on a custom widget that is supposed to take up the full width of the mashup it's contained in, but add certain amounts of scrolling. Unfortunately, default CSS values seems to have come into conflict. There are two parts that caused concern, one which is now solved.I can get the desired visual results I want by editting the CSS the page directly post render on the web browser. The two divs below both need to have a css tag of width:100% to be functional. To do so on the parent was relatively easy using jquery's parent function on the name of my widget "widget-costestimatetile" in the afterRender function. However, when trying to set the css of "widget-costestimatetile" directly, as shown in the image below, a static width is appended, overriding this. I've used the step-through function in firefox debugging to confirm my suspicion that this was being over-written after the afterRender function was executed.Upon further investigation we realized that this nu
