Hi All, it’s my first time posting on here. I am used to using Creo Parametric for my designs and I usually parametrise my parts to make it easy to modify in the future. I was wondering if there is a way to run Creo parametric, load file, make an edit and export this file using an external program such as MATLAB. I would like to do this because I will be exporting 1000’s of versions of the same file just at different geometrical values and wanted to automate the process and run my analysis on MATLAB automatically. Any response is appreciated 

Good afternoon, I am trying to get into Creo Parametric 7.0.8.0, but am getting the following errors - these three errors pop up and then the program automatically closes. Any thoughts on what needs to be done to fix this?  Thank you for the help!

Hello,  When I use Pocket Milling, milling bottom Face with spiral type, I found that I can not control cut path corner radius, all corners of cut path are sharp, this is not my expectation.  Could you please help me to solve this issue?  thanks, Bin 

What's the order of Things when you manually import them? I'm pretty sure that Data Shapes are first, but I can't remember the full order. I can't find this anywhere.

Hi allI am using Visual Basic for Application in Excel and am trying to pass an array of strings from Excel to Prime 8 through the API. I have managed to pass a matrix/array of numbers, but if I change the matrix content to strings, the OutputGetMatrixValue object fails with Errorcode = 7, suggesting "Matrix result is invalid." See Figure.png and below code. It appears not possible from the help documentation, see Figure2.png. Alternatively, I could convert the strings to unicode numbers, and then pass them to Excel through the below code, and then convert them back to strings. Hi, I am trying to create a custom login page, I am able to create but If I enter the wrong credentials, page navigates to the organization form login page and showing not a valid login message. Are there any ways I can show some javascript basic alerts on the same page stating "wrong credentials" instead of moving to the organization's login page?

How to update the state definitions rgb value using js services?

I have attached state definitions to the configure grid columns of advanced grid. Whatever the changes have done directly in state definitions is not reflecting the same state definition which is attached to the grid. As I am updating the the styles of state definitions in runtime, I cant manually check the same state definitions attached to the grid. Advanced grid also get updated automatically.  What is the solution for this problem.

Does anyone know how to turn off the green outline that appears around duplicate variables in Prime 8.0? It even occurs around subsequent members of an array, which are technically not the same variable. Please see the attached screen shot. The green outline didn't exist in Prime 7.0 but suddenly showed up in Prime 8.0. I would like to get rid of it since it doesn't appear very professional in a printout. 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS17One of our customer has Windchill 11.0 running production system. Also they have hard model object for "Part" created and they want to move to standard Softtype of WTPart. They have future plans to upgrade to 12.0/12.1 because of longer support windows.We would like to know PTC views on :1) Wether they should convert hard model to soft model before the upgrade or it will be easier to do in 12.x versions. I am having problem installing CREO software (student version). I tried uninstalling the software and try installing it a couple of times but now are getting an error message during the License Identification step. In the Simple License Entry product code field, I enter the product code and click Install Licensing, after a short time then the error shows up and stop installation.How can I proceed?

Something is causing the eSupport portal to unexpectedly switch from English to Chinese.  It's definitely tied to cookies, but I can't figure out what is causing it.  I'm using Firefox as my primary web browser with Windows 10.  I use the support site extensively almost every day and suddenly out of the blue it will switch the language to Chinese.  I do not have Chinese configured as a language in my web browser nor is it an installed language in Windows.  Every time this happens I delete all cookies for ptc.com and that resolves the issue for the time being, but not permanently.  Not sure how to troubleshoot this, but I really wish it would stop happening.   Not sure if it matters, but I use https://help.ptc.com frequently because it's easy to remember.  I wonder if something is messed up with the automatic redirection from there to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/help, or most recently https://www.ptc.com/cn/support/help.   Here are the las

Hi,  I'm using Creo 7 and Windchill 12. My model tree setup has got a column in for PTC_COMMON_NAME, which we use as the human-readable descriptor of the cad part/assembly. Some of the sub-assemblies are quite heavy so I don't want to have to retrieve them and bring them into session only to find out that's not the section I was looking for; i.e. I can't remember if the part I want to see is in 100_8 or 100_9, but if the common names were shown I would be able to tell which one I need. When I open this top level master scheme the common name column is all blank, and when I set the sub-assembly to a master rep it retrieves the common name and displays it, but I'd much prefer to make it retrieve the common names of each of the assemblies within the top level, without bringing their assembly contents into session; is that possible?  I think I can make a user defined "empty" rep in every individual sub-assy and then re-define the master scheme "empty" rep
