My goal right now is to have the properties of a few Things that, when changed, are updated in a DataTable which is in a separate Mashup. The guide I somewhat worked off of gave me info on populating a DataTable but only by writing info into a number/text box and clicking a Button to add and update the table. If there's a tutorial more closely related to what I need done that would be appreciated.Background: My overall project is a home security application. We've already created a Mashup that changes the On/Off value property of a few Things(representing sensors for us). We have a simple Slider that can change from value 0 or 1 and will change the color of a Shape that sits above the slider to physically represent the sensors On/Off state for a user. This all works and bindings make sense so I am positive that our On/Off property for our Things is correctly being changed.I'm saying this because I've been having trouble binding this information onto a Data Table, and am not sure whethe

I am planning for a windchill upgrade from 11.0 to 12.1 on the same server. I have gone through the Upgrade Guide but it is little confusing. My Question is: Should I do the Import and export of LDAP and Database for this in-place upgrade also ORI would just follow the same steps to install 12.1 on the same server as I did for 11.0?( such as LDAP connection and Database user?) and run the upgrade Manager.After Running the upgrade Manager, Will I see both versions available on my server C drive --ptc folder?OR it would just overwrites on older version?

Mathcad 15.0Hello Can you please send me a link to the Mathcad 15.0 download on your website? I can not find it any more. There only seems to be a download for the prime 8.0 version.I am trying to download and use my Matcad 15.0 licence. My laptop got wiped recently and i lost access to it. I am on Creo 4.  So I have tried the advice given in this post and in this post to no avail  I want to sort my table by a parameter not used in the table.  If I add a column using my parameter, it sorts just fine.  As soon as I clear that parameter from the repeat regin, the sort order gets lost.  I am having the same trouble as the guy in the second link where he says:  "In WF3 this works fine if the paramater is included in one of the table columns, but if it is not reported in the table then the sort order reverts back to what appears to be a default of asm.mbr.type then asm.mbr.name. So I played about and found that I could include the parameter in a column of my BOM table but set the column width to -1 characters wide so that it is hidden." I could not get my column width set to -1 or even 0.  It had to be 1 or more and I really didn't want to do it that way anyway.  It appears that people have gotten this to wo

I have a requirement to report out a whole mess of classification attributes for all levels of Parts Link classifications for a BOM (custom table views). According to this article, CS72284 , the answer seems to be that its not possible. Or is it?  I have transitioned away from using soft-types to use PartsLink. As a result, all my previously soft-typed parts are now WTParts (normal Parts) and the previous soft-types are disabled from instantiation.  Since I am using the same attributes as I was before in PartsLink as I did with soft-types, everything transitioned over perfectly.  I also noticed or thought that the classification attributes were showing up in custom table views: Well, not quite. What I was seeing was the attributes for the soft-type Parts that I am no longer using. Refer to the screenshot below, I just read this Help section: it says at the end that "But when you select Stresses, Rotations, or Reactions you cannot obtain the same results." What does it means? The calculated results can be different by the status of output selections?

Hello,my edit wizard has 5 steps. You start at the first step, the Apply and Finish buttons are disabled be default.You have to go through the first 2 steps so the Apply and Finish buttons enable. However, I need them to be enabled all the time by default so you can open the wizard and apply the changes right away. I came up with this: Ext.getCmp("PJL_wizard_ok").enable(); This works for enabling the button, however, I need a place to call it. I was thinking about using a listener but I have tried "wizardLoadComplete" which does not work. Is there another way to achieve this? Best regards

Hello, I am retrieving data from a MQTT Broker. Over the years I used most versions of Mathsoft's Mathcad versions from the 1990's to 2017 (probably using Mathcad 14/15), when I retired.I have many legacy files from Mathcad 14/15 which I would like to convert using Mathcad Prime 8.0.However, after I installed and start the Prime 8.0 trial version, I selected the convert MCD/MCDX (which I had selected during installation) and loaded an old file into it (which was recognised as Mathcad 14/15), it is quickly flagged as 'No License' and conversion halts.Why is this? I no longer have access to older versions of Mathcad, which is why I hope to eventually purchase a full single user Prime 8.0 licenseso I can convert and continue using some if not all of my old files. I was hoping that the 15-day trial would give me a chance to see how successful conversion might be. Is there a solution?Please reply As soon as possible.

Hi all We use CREO 7.0.2.0 and windchill 11.1 M020-CPS20.After added a model to a workspace and open it, sometimes we have a warning from the notification center, and a yellow triangle in our model tree. The message is as follow:I don't understand which function or parameter CREO want to update at opening.I read the CS329894, but don"t find any enlightementWhere can i found this information?Is there a model log somewhere? Regards Dom

When I edit features and the references for parts in my assembly are gone, I need to redefine the constraints using this window.This is what the window looks likeBut the names of the features are way longer than the window, so they mostly do not fit inside. Is there maybe any way to extend the window where the name of the features is written into?

Hello everybody,i´am trying to set up a Word-Export-Configuration to generate an variant-specific Export, but unfortunately it doesn´t work out. My document has got an attribute called "Device ID" used to assign variants to the requirements. On the tab "properties" we have another attribute called "Export ID" used to define the needed variant for the Export. (see figure)In this case i want to make an Export for variant "C0101" How can this be implemented? Many thanks in advance!

We have some clients that want the use case of predictive maintenance and we have some doubts about the best way to do this approach and the PTC suggestion to the partners about skills and the professional profile to provide this use case.Beyond that, we want to know if PTC (or some partner ) has some pre-trained model for predictive maintenance (through vibration/temperature data) or if it will be necessary to build and train the model from the beginning.
