Hello,I created a harness with some spools that contained 2 conductors.I defined the color coding for each and was able to route them separately. The report table looks correct except for the color code.How do I get them to show up correctly like the other single wire spools?Any insight for this would be appreciated,Thanks! Kino

What i suppoesed to do if i need replace a component part in a assembly in Creo 7.0.2.0 OTK C++/Java OTKIn old version the method pfcSolid::ExecuteFeatureOps(pfcFeatureOperations_ptr, optional pfcRegenInstructions_ptr) works well,however e-support technique file tells me OTK C++/Java OTK have anther mehod with same function in this version, but i can't find the method.The only mehod i found in help file is pfcCompModelReplace_ptr CreateReplaceOp (pfcModel_ptr NewModel), but what i should do after i have created this option,which mehod can receive this argument and execute the replacement action.Urgent issue need your help ,million thanks!

Hello, I have a sketch that contains some reference dimensions, for this particular sketch, in the sketch relations that are then used to drive a sketch dimension in the same sketch.  This represents a circular reference which can be resolved through iteration.  When I regenerate multiple times (less than 10 is usually sufficient), the sketch geometry is resolved.  So my question is, is there a way to program in the extra regenerations, or is there another way to program the iterations to resolve the sketch?

I am in the process of re-doing some of our mapkeys. It looks like in Creo 4 the mapkeys have gotten even more verbose than in Creo 3. Is there an easier way to enter / edit text in a mapkey?   If not then I will probably resort to text from file just to keep the length of the mapkeys down and readable.

Hi everyoneIs it possible to install (permanently) E-books (like for example one of my favorites "dynamassist" or "Images") in a directory different from the /Handbook directory, where I have no write rights?I have seen, I can open an E-book wherever I want, but the ones stored in /Handbook remain available also after closing and starting MathCAD again.  Thanks a lot!Best regardsClaudio

How to make fix constraint to multiple items at a time?

I am migrating streams to postgres and I have some columns which contain infinity values. I changed the schema in postgres to double precision, which does allow inifinity values. However, I get the error "JSON does not allow non-finite numbers." when I try to move my stream into here and it has an infinity value. How do I migrate a stream with inifinity for some values into postgres?

Late to the game of printing/saving pdf's. Is one of these better than the other? Or do they do the same thing?

I have been messing around with the stroke to reduce file size and somehow change a setting and now the pdf is only the bottom left portion of the D size paper. What did I change to make this happen and how can I fix this?

Hello everybody, I have the task to figure out the floating licenses in my company. They already had a running license server with a single floating license key running. And Im trying to get that license on my computer.  I can ping the server and the server can ping my laptop, both computers are set to private network, and the server had created windows firewall exceptions for ptc_d and port 7788 by the official distributor call center. I then tried my co-workers laptop and he was able to activate the floating license on his PC. I then turned off all firewalls and windows defender virus detection on my laptop and it still says unreachable.  Ironically when i tried, my co-workers laptop is unable to ping or get pinged by the server which is weird.  Is there anything i am missing? As even official support could not figure this out and help me.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.2.0Material Files - Are there any formatting or other requirements (such as required parameters or parameter groups) that must be satisfied in order to ensure that the files are valid for use?Background-as part of the company transitioning from Solidworks to Creo, the existing Solidworks custom/customer materials database is to be replicated as a company Materials Library. The sldmat file is an xml file and a java utility (outside of Creo API's) was written to parse the file and write a .mtl file for each "material" element in the sldmat DOM.visually the resulting mtl files appear as though they should work. Initial testing result is that the newly created mtl files are visible to Creo but when attempting to assign to the model an error indicating that the [MATERIAL] is not Valid. sHere are the errors that I facedSelecting a generated material file results in a message stating that the file is not valid

Need X out of Y coding model to raise custom alarm in Thing Worx. The values should be continuously recorded and need to raise a custom alarm if X out of the Y values breach the given limit. Example: X:3 & Y:5 and Values:[4,5,5,4,2], lets consider the limit to be 4 and type is greater or equal. So we can see that 4 values here are out of safe range, so need to raise a custom alarm. Ideally its little more complex than this, to consider all the parameters and condition.    Has anyone ever developed something like this? if so please share your modelling technique.

When doing a "Save As" pdf, the read opens unless you uncheck "Open file in Acrobat Reader". This last for as long as the session does. Is there a config option to "uncheck" this permanently? Thanks, Dale    

Hi all, In the image below, I would like to project the sketch onto the revolve. I would like to project onto all of its surfaces at one time, if possible. Please note that the sketch overlaps between different surfaces. Preferably, I'd like to do this such that I could even extrude/offset the sketch from the surface.Anybody have any suggestions? I am making some Exploded Views (using two computers side by side. I have 6 CREO licenses at any time in this year). At one computer I can make the exploded views, at the other computer I can't move any part in Explode mode. How to make the parts free to move? Where is the "lock" switch? Why need to have this "disable/lock" function in Explode mode? (I guess I can answer my 3rd question as: for security reason to prevent unauthorized edition. Thanks.Have a wonderful day.

Kind of new to the Spring element in CREO Simulate. Is it possible to simply the 5 spring disc washers (see below illustration) with only one spring element? I have simply the rod as a series of beam elements. Thanks for any hints.

When I create an arc in 2D, for example of around 960mm in radius, when I then pull the 3D object it does not smoothly follow the arc.  Am I doing something wrong?  This screen shot shows what I mean.  Thank you.  

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 6.0 (connected) Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.4.0Colors in Appearances library appear much darker than they are supposed to be. I have already read thorough CS328931 and troubleshot graphics card. Other users in my organization have similar hardware but don't encounter the same problem.

While migrating the older version of the creo drawings from Windchill to Teamcenter, we are getting some unknown sync issue, this issue is exactly happens when we did some changes on latest version of the dependencies.    For example let's say in creo DRW001.drw has the dependencies of PRT001.prt  Let's say these are the latest version available in Windchill.   DRW001.drw - 1.3 PRT001.prt - 1.3   Now we need to migrate the 1.1 version of the DRW001.drw. Also we did renaming on the PRT001.prt as PRT001_NEW.prt on the latest version (1.3)   So after Windchill extraction by "As stored" for the 1.1 version of the drawing, we facing sync issue that PRT001.prt is not in the directory.   Basically what's happening here is, when we rename the part in Windchill, it's getting renamed automatically for all the versions of the part, But in the physical file (File history of the part), it's still having the old name id.  This can be fixed by check out the par
