Hello, I am working on a simply supported beam calculator. I have everything up and working but I am having trouble when it comes to determining the maximum of the displacement and it's corresponding x value.  In the collapsible area under the loads you can see I have the various displacement equations and to find the total displacement I sum them up. I then need to find where this value is a maximum but I don't know how to do it other than reading it off the graph.  Is there a more elegant way to determine the maximum so I can define a function for maximum displacement and corresponding x-location. Hi, community, I have been spinning my wheels with getting the differenthe ce between two dates and time.The aim is to find the duration between the time a device is turned off and when that device is turned on. I have two different services that output a datetime value. One service outputs the time the device is turned on and the second service outputs the time the device is switched off.I then created a third service that calculates the difference between the two times. Below is what I wrote in my third service:var date1 = parseDate(onTimes_Input, " dd-MMM-YYYY HH:mm");var date2 = parseDate(offTimes_Input, " dd-MMM-YYYY HH:mm");let result= dateDifference(onTimes, offTimes); when I execute the above, I get the following error: Error executing service getDuration. Message :: Invalid format: "1661387400000" - See Script Error Log for more details.  Does anyone know what this could mean?Best RegardsJay_nisaa 🙂

Is there a way where I can apply a compression on the file to be downloaded.2. A few years ago our company did not use the WT part function in Windchill.Today we want to use WT parts for everything. How do I create a WT part alone and then associated with the part we created a few years ago?

I have shown the three results of vibration analyses side by side simultaneously in animation. They are 1-sigma VM stress profiles. How to save these three animations in one {movie, video clip, gif, etc.}? Save As Backup can only save one animation each time. Other than using cellphone camera, has there a new technique developed to record the movements in the whole entire screen without discrimination? Thanks.

In the above screenshot i am getting value for propName in line 2 , but while using same value in (nested loop) line 3 getting issue as "org.mozilla.javascript.UniqueTag@5c998613: NOT_FOUND". But while using actual value instead of propName in line no 3, its working fine. Please let me know if any issue is there in code. Hello and sorry if this is a question that has been answered before but I could not find anything searching. How do you commonly indicate a painted surface? As an example we make some parts out of ADC12 but they are painted only on the outer surfaces? I can give the part the correct material but then if I would like to add a surface treatment, how would I do it?  Thanks

Is it possible for me to mark a variable with a bar on top (see picture below) to indicate it’s a complex number? This is how I normally do it in WordMat:I understand that the bar is used for conjugation in Mathcad but it is how we are taught a complex numbers variable is displayed.

I have the following elements in this scenario running Thingworx 8.5.18: 1. DropDown widget - Used to select a URL(output) 2. Service(infotable output) - feeds the list of items to the DropDown widget above 3. Navigation Function - Takes the output of the DropDown widget and feeds it to a target mashup as a popup.   DropDown widget: Service (populates the DropDown widget from a infotable with a Report(shown in DropDown widget) row and a URL(passed to the popup target Mashup) row): Navigation Function   What currently happens - When I close the popup that is generated from the selection of an item in the DropDown the DropDown still shows the item I selected.  This is an issue because the DropDown doesn't allow me to reselect that item without selecting another item first. What I need to have happen - When I close the popup that is generated from the selection of an item in the DropDown I need the list in the DropDown to be reset to its default load state. ie

Hi all, I want to automatically trim sketches. I would like to have one sketch with, for example, a logo. Then, I want to have a second sketch that is the boundary, or the 'trimming' sketch. Is there a way to override the section label so that I can have two sections with the same name in the assembly. I am trying to create two separate drawings from the same model and have the sections start at A-A and go on from there.

Hello, I have a question regarding Windchill dropdowns. So by default, when clicking an action in a dropdown the dropdown closes automatically like the one shown in the image.What I need is a way to keep it opened so the user can click multiple entries without having to open the dropdown several times. The customize button you can find on the Windchill homepage does exacly that. The dropdown does not close after clicking an entry. This way you can easily select multiple checkboxes at a time. Is there a way to prevent the dropdown model from closing or is this Windchill specific and can not be customized. Best regards
