I am using Thingworx 8, with the MQTT extension I connected my Thing to the broker, with a property "Test" that works correctly But then I made a mashup showing that value in a Label Widget. It only updates if I press F5 on my web browser. when I go to the thing's properties, I can see the value correctly updates In the mashup I have used GetProperties, with "Automatically update values when enable" checked. I also used an AutoRefresh Widget, but nothing works. I created a subscription on another thing, to the property "Test" on Data Change. It never activates the subscription

To all I created some measures (RMS disp, RMS accel - that sort of thing) but when I look at the results I see nothing . These do not appear in the list. I also would like to create a PSD response graph but again I am getting nothing.The analysis ran succesffuly and all is Ok. I just do not get measures Thanks

This is maddening.  If I create a dimension under 1mm (i.e.0.5), I get the leading zero, but if I create a GD&T symbol, say, a Flatness tolerance of 0.05mm, I do NOT get the leading zero, and it shows up as ".05".  this is infuriating, especially since I did a dwg maybe a month or so ago where it worked fine and I got the leading zero for the same Flatness tolerance!   Anyone get this?  I've gone thru a ton of settings, and nothing is working.  The one thing that worked was setting the dwg to mm units, which FUBAR'd everything else and which I DIDN'T do on the dwg that worked.   I hate metric...

We're planning to use the deserialise method from wt.pds.ConversionHelper in some query builder reports to get the values of workflow variables. The report it seems a little slow, even though there's only 10 objects to deserialise in our dev system.Has anyone used this method successfully on thousands of objects?

Hi, I set up a workflow to gather some data from Windchill PLM. Among these data, it will be the model pvz source for Vuforia Studio experience.So, I want to trigger a thingworx flow that could update some source data (including the pvz file in the repository connected to the experience) before the model loading. In this way, the shown model can be the last possible version available on the thingworx repository, and consequently on windchill.Is this possible? How to? many thanks. 

Hi,   Can Kepware connected tags in thingworx be scanned at one rate and be logged(in Value Streams) at different rates. For example, let say a tag OilTemp is set with scan rate of 3 secs and the logging option is checked. Not the data is displayed on a mashup and changes every 3 secs and gets logged simultaneously.   But instead of logging every 3sec, I want the data to be logged at every 1 min. ie. I want the displayed value to be changed every 3secs and wants that data to be logged with 1mins interval in valuestreams. Can it be achieved?   Regards

I'm fairly new to the use of arrays and matrices in general. I'm in the crane design industry and modern codes require multiple load combinations to be analysed in structural calculations simultaneously. Codes then often pose choices based on things like stress ratios. For example, in it's simplest form, a different set of rules are required if a stress is in compression rather than in tension. I need the ability to automatically differentiate between these stresses, and the correct rules are applied for each load combination. Sometimes these problems may use array sizes in the hundreds. I've attached a very basic programme. My desired outcome is a single n x 1 array. What I tend to get is an array of nested arrays. I've played around and found that if I were to transpose this and turn the nested array into a single clean matrix, use the diagonal function, then this would give me what I need. I have no idea how to do this though. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I need help

I defined a function of x and y and plotted it. Later I am calculating matrix values for the function and trying to create a second function to fit the points. My belief was it should result in the first function but the second function deviated from first by large margin. How to rectify this?

Hi all, When I start Creo (4.0), I let it open and execute a trail file to init some things, depending on the project I am working on.The main thing it does, is to execute 2 mapkeys.One mapkey sets the current working directory of this specific project.The other mapkey opens the main assembly of this project. I found an issue, and need support, I had my Thingworx and Vuforia Experience/Studio installed on the same pc within Virtualbox. In Vuforia Studio preview, the data get from Thingworx is correct, butin Vuforia View, it's incorrect (Can't auto refresh). Here are some interesting phenomenon, and must be the cause.While Studio View is connected, the Experiece service log shows which 192.168.0.26 is my pc's correct address, and 192.168.0.186 is not correct. (don't know why use this ip address!?) And in Vuforia Sudio preview, the ip address are all correct/the same, so data is correctly auto refreshed. Please advise, thank you. 

Hello. I model a car using the Style tool. I'm trying to make a rooftop but faced some problems. My way of creating the rooftop is to create two surfaces and make an intersect curve. After that, I use The Offset Tool to offset this intersect curve twice for each of the two surfaces. Thus, I create two curves on each surface and am able to trim these two surfaces and create a blend between them. Here's a picture to make it clear for you.          As you can see, for some reason the lower offset curve has a direction (from the top to the bottom) that doesn't match the direction of the offset curve higher(from the bottom to the top). I know that I can convert curves and flip their directions, but how to fix this issue without converting? Maybe I have some problems with the datum planes and references of my curves to them? Notebook/Layout Users (Creo 6):I thought to create a Notebook file to have universal parameters.I created a notebook/layout called aaa with a parameter called xxx.I created a part yyy and declared it to the notebook/layout aaa.Now it is locked in the part yyy as the parameter xxx.I create a drawing zzz with xxx as the model.In a note I create &xxx.One would think the result would report what xxx was equal to?No, it simply does not work.What am I doing wrong?WayneF🤔

The native task form templates were good for everything I need until last week but now I need to customise the task layout a little more.There's a testpage.jsp task template which has samples of how to add the various tables and common elements of a task using tags, but there's no details of how to add a tab to the task or change the name of a tab. For example, I like the to have the Set-up Participants table on a separate tab.
