Just wanted to check if we have any sort of sizing calculator for ThingWorx 9.x (I can recall we have some sort of excel format for ThingWorx 7.x earlier)…? Any suggestion to calculate the required network bandwidth (internet bandwidth) for ThingWorx data ingestion? What parameters to be considered to arrive at some benchmark?

Hello, I need to license one runtime istance of Thingworx Platform. I wanted to know what else I need besides the runtime license, if I need to install other licenses for example. I would need a procedure explaining what to do (if this is documented).   P.S. What are the main differences between a Runtime license and a Developer license.

I want to use Mathcad 6.0 to create a color-coded mesh surface plot of a hemispherical dome whose height ranges between 0 and 1.0 as defined by the function cos(πx/2a), 0 ≤ x ≤ a, with a = 300. The surface is “swept out” by taking this curve [plotted along the x axis] and rotating it a full 360 degrees about x= 0.  

how to read data from device (thing) and show in to mashup?

Hi Guys, i've tried to download Creo 4.0, which is needed for my University assignment.Unfortunatly I cannot download installation file - because there is none. I've created a PTC - Account - clicked on the first link in the screenshot, but there are no download files. It looks like this to me:  The HTTPS - link is just emtpy. there is nothing on that page. Can someone please provide me with some advice? Thanks!

Hi i have interfaced the led with the thingworx and i'm using its prop in vuforia studio for the temp and humid values. I have the values but, i'm not able to switch on/off the led from vuforia studio.  Kindly help with the code or suggest me with the changes that i need to make. My Kepserverex Modbus Ethernet  installed in Windows Server 2012 connected to around 15 plc using tcp communication. All the my plc giving device is not responding for every few minutes in eventlog. In OPC client the tag quality will change from good to bad once awhile(not all the tag in the device only few of it)

Hello!, I'm developing a very huge aplication and we will have a lot of devices (more than 1 million).The main thing is that the app has to have the posibility of retrieve one o two from the one million of device when It will be necesary. Which is the most efficient way for to do that?These are the options that I thougth:1. GetImplementingThingsWithData it's efficient (with a query parameter)?2. I am using Creo Parametric - Release 7.0 (connected) 7.0 7.0.5.0We've enabled the "overall_size" parameter in ModelCheck, but it keeps placing 2 decimal place values for the parameter. We'd like to have three decimal place values generated for that parameter, but we haven't been able to make it work. Please advise.

Hi,Following my previous thread, I can successfully pass data from Excel to Mathcad, calculate, and then take the outputs back to Excel. Thank you @terryhendicott  !!! This is a summary of the code I am using.- Get inputs, Aliases, units from Excel.- Open Prime and worksheet.- Get Prime Input Aliases.- Loop through each Prime Input Alias and match them with Excel Aliases. If there is a match, add the corresponding value and units to Prime.- Calculate- Obtain Prime output as a matrix.- Loop through each Output element, store its value and send the element back to Excel.  This is the weird part that I can't figure it out. If the program runs by clicking the ActiveX Command Button, the Outputs are not added to the Excel.If the program runs in VBA and there are break stops, the program adds the Outputs to Excel as intended. The minimum number of break stops seems to be two. One after the I get the Outputs and one after the loops that moves the Output

Our FIRST team wants to model gravity, but mechanism dynamics isn't an option we are permitted on the k-12 license.  Can we purchase the University student license even though we are k-12, and, just to be sure, does that license include the mechanism dynamics option? Thanks!

Yall   I have some pics in my drawing and model.   In the model I created on surface. In drawing I add using ribbon for pics.   Works great. But apparently they are linked from whence they came and not embedded? They are gone and I get a can't find response.   I am using Windchill.   1. Can I embed them into the files? 2. If not embedded...do I need to load into Windchill?   TX Wayne

Hi,   Asking for advice on how to analyse an aluminum honeycomb panel. The layup is 0.5mm aluminium sheet, 20mm aluminium honeycomb structure and a final aluminium sheet. These make up a plate of 400x400mm. How should I set this up for best analysis in Creo Simulate? I'm thinking the Shell feature would be the right way and make a laminate material. Should one then have the honeycomb as a material type, to be defined, or should one define a Laminate Stiffness and use that shell as the middle layer? Alternatively define the honeycomb material as an Orthotropic material and apply that to a geometric part representing the honeycomb core? Furthermore, any hints or suggestions to such properties, as I have not yet dealt with honeycomb structural properties? Thanks

Hello,I have a problem with installation of mathcad version 7.0. I have installer, recieved it via e-mail. When I try to install it, after runnig installer, there is only extraction of some files, the window disappears and nothing is happening. I tried to download full version of installer from website https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/academicFree.jsp but there is no file under the name of Mathcad 7.0. I had the same issue with 6.0 version but on that time there was a full version of installer on that site and it helped. Kind regards
