Does the Windchill PDMLink funcitonality "download documents to compressed file" supports the following challenge?- 100 x MS Word documents need to be saved as 100 pdf files and then zipped as 1 file.

Do I have to go into work and access the computer to finish activation? Will I be able to use the trial remotely?

I am attempting, on a test server, to upgrade from 11.1 M020-CPS22 to 12.0.2.2. I have previously ran a plethora of successful upgrades of various versions including  a recent 11.1 M20-CPS17 to 12.0.1.1. This is my first with a target system of 12.0.2.X.   So I have am very familiar with the upgrade process. We have customizations which I have incorporated into the target machine same as previous upgrades. However this time the Upgrade Manager fails in the Execute Server Migrators step on the Update "TabLayout" preference task.   I do have a case open with PTC and the TS initial response was: "The source of this particular error can be from multiple sources but the first thing to check are customizations. Did you implement and validate all source customizations on the target prior to running the UGM? We could also try knocking the target system down to a single MS monolithic system and see what happens."   I have tried the "knocking the target system down

As a part of POC, we are implementing a page having a menu on the left sides. When user clicks on each menu a page will get loaded. In every page we are having two toggle buttons. On toggle button press, it will navigated to to another page. After this click, if user selects another menu and came back to the previous menu, the already loaded page is not getting displayed.  Eg : We are having 2 items in menu. 'Mashing' and 'Loitering'. When user clicks on Mashing, the mashing screen1 displays. In this screen when user clicks on toggle button, system will display mashing screen2. Then if go to "Loitering "menu and come back to Mashing the already selected page mashing screen should be displayed. But now it is displaying mashing screen1. So we need to get the current mashup name so that it can be passed to a service. Please help to share your advice on the same.

Hi all;In our company we have set a policy to release 3d model before starting to create drawing and therefore system not allow the user to save 3d model in this phase . Our problem is that to create sections in 2d it  creates the section in 3d model also which results to modification of 3d model and therefore it needs being saved ...My question is that how do you manage this situation? Is there any other alternatives to it?Please share your experience in this regard. I really appreciate your help.Sincerely yours.

I am using Creo Parametric 8.0 8.0.0.0I have a student  who is installing the student edition of Creo 8. He has followed the installation instructions from here - https://apps.ptc.com/schools/references/install_creo8_unistudent_standard.pdf. When he creates the locked license, it says success, but then the status says invalid file and he does not get the option to finish.We also tried saving the license he received from the email and uploading that, but that didn't work either.We've already checked the physical address, and that matches.Here are the errors that I facedInvalid file

Hi All,I must to migrate IoT ApplicationFROM Thingworx 8.4 with Persistent Provider PostgreSQL and Additional Persistent Provider InfluxDB (DB InfluxDB 1.7) TO Thingworx 9.2 with Persistent Provider PostgreSQL and Additional Persistent Provider InfluxDB (DB InfluxDB 1.8.4). In the source system (Thingworx 8.4 and Persistence Provide InfluxDB , DB Version 1.7) data are stored in a very big ValueStream.Using standard migration process (export/import from Thingworx) takes a long time because I must split data using DataTimeStart and DataTimeEnd , in order to avoid problems on source system. Would it be possible to migrate data from DB InfluxDB Version 1.7 to DB InfluxDB version 1.8.4 and somehow recreating the ValueStream on Thingworx 9.2 that points to the data on the InfluxDB 1.8.4 db?Any suggestion is appreciatedBRDimitri

Has anyone ever built a search query that will return the curves or surfaces from within ISDX super features? I would like to build a query that will find the curves or the surfaces that are within ISDX features but have not been able to find a way to date. The help files are nonexistent for this, so I am asking here.   This is as close as I have found but it returns the Style features and not the curves or surfaces. I do not see any options in the look for selections that would enable this but perhaps I am missing something.    

I have downloaded Creo 7 from school PTC program and I unzipped "MED-100WIN-CD-450_8-0-0-0_Win64.zip" archive. Then, following "PTC Creo 7.0 - Schools Edition - Quick Installation Guide", I disabled antivirus and firewall. Then right click on setup.exe --> run as administrator.Nothing happens. I placed the unzipped installation package into a C:\PTC_install directory and launched C:\PTC_install\setup.exe, nothing still happened. I have a 64 bit computer and I am running windows 11

Does anyone have simple code that can go in the Transitions portion that will stop the activity to be completed if a user selects themselves as an approver for a role?  I have a simple workflow but I do not want users choosing themselves as the checker of the work.  Currently I am on Windchill 11.1.  A quick search didn't turn up anything on this subject, but I thought that there have been previous posts.

I am using KEPServerEX 5.14. I have an excel spreadsheet with multiple DDE links to numerous PLCs across a network. Each PLC has an 90 element array for points i need to make calculations on each day. The spreadsheet opens at 12:01 each morning via batch file and windows task scheduler and then excel runs a macro that gathers the data i need from cells that update based on current data in the PLCs and closes Excel. The columns set from row 3-92 for example:  "=kepdde|RTU5PLC1!'AR1F32-0000031(x)" where x is the array element 0-89 and the RTU changes based on the device i am talking to. may be too much detail there, but it works for 7 different RTUs and 28 different arrays 100% of the time EXCEPT... I have one specific RTU that brings in 8 arrays (columns a - h) and for some reason column D misses some of the data, ie. cells D3-D5 are not populated, D6-D9 are populated but D10-D23 are not and D24-D92 are good. The macro pukes every time it gets a "N/A" in any of it's fields so this

Hi there, I am trying to get rid of security warnings within Creo's own chromium browser, when visiting Web.Link enabled Websites (e.g. Windchill). Activating "remember my decision" only works until Creo or chromium is restarted. I tried  web_link_security_autoprompt no  but it does not seem to have an effect on that. Any suggestions?  

The file is from Mathsoft MathCad, but I want to run it in the new PTC MathCad what is the solution please answer ASAP.
