Hi everyone, we deploy a TWX application to different environments as an extension.As we're upgrading to TWX 9.2.1 we need to delete all dependencies of WindchillConnector in order to be able to do the upgrade. Unfortunately our extension includes a ThingTemplate that is directly inheriting from WindchillConnector. We would like to delete this ThingTemplate but we're not able to (even if all dependencies of this particular ThingTemplate have been removed). How can we delete this ThingTemplate without completely removing the extension (too much overhead, as the extension is quite complex and requires a lot of set-up/configuration)? We tried:1. Delete via service -> Error: Extension Entities Cannot be deleted2. Delete via UI after all dependencies have been removed: delete button still greyed out3. aspect.isEditableExtensionObject="true" -> extension developers guide tells us it is not allowed on Thing Templates.

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 8.0 (connected) 8.0 8.0.0.0Our config.pro has view_scale_format ratio_colon (1:1) which does not seem to be mapping across correctlyIn Prepare>Drawing Options>Detail Options> view_scale_format is default to decimal* (1.000)However, '&scale' displays a fraction (1/1)Has anyone faced something similar to this? We can manually work around changing the view_scale_format manually every time, but would like this to happen from the config.pro file as expected.   Thanks in advance

Hi I am still trying to learn java whilst trying to develop my thingworx app and I am trying to write a service to define the production shifts depending on if a boolean property is true and and shift has been selected from a drop drown (string) but services keeps failing saying specific shift (string) is not defined see image. Do I need to do a function call to return the string?

Hi All, I am trying to send a text file from my Edge to ThingWorx using the SendFile function in FileTransferVirtualThing. I have setup the virtual directories as mentioned. However SendFile keeps failing with the below error: Error sending file to Platform. Internal Server Error. (Code 1110)at com.thingworx.communications.client.things.filetransfer.FileTransferVirtualThing.SendFile(String sourcePath, String sourceFile, String targetRepo, String targetPath, String targetFile, UInt32 timeout, Boolean async) Not sure whats going wrong over here? I have created a new mashup with my admin account and than created a different user groups. I have provided run time permission to the user group but when i login from any user of user group i am not able to view the mashup it shows blank. Can you please help me what could be checked in such scenarios? Thanks

Can't get WRITEBIN to output to a subfolder in Prime 7.0, although other write functions such as WRITETEXT will. Does anyone have a workaround for this, or is this something Prime will support in the future?

In the first for (counter j), when it starts from zero to 3, it gives me some values, when I start from 3 to 3, it gives me another value. Somebody can help me?Thanks

How can we access SCP Accelator? can we use that in trial version?

I successfully created a widget with an infotable as bindingSource. I now want to use the Thingworx SelectedRows mechanism. E.G Collection Widget is bound to my widgets infotable. The selection within the collection widget should be propagated back to my widget where then another widget or service can consume the selected rows.   I already debugged most of the TWX JS, so far I have questions about isBindingBoundToSelectedRows(e) ... how do I have to write my property description in order to use the native mechanism? (or) do I manually have to register a listener to the dataMgr myself? as in s.mashup.dataMgr.addSelectedRowsForWidgetHandleSelectionUpdateSubscription(e, (function(t, i, n) ...  

I have an account called publisher administrator. On my publisher server, i am running Creo Parametric 7 and it uses this account but I am not sure what its for. I have a saved password in the browser cache so i dont have to remember the pw but when I did an upgrade the cache password disappeared so I will need to reset the account password. Does anyone use a publisher administrator account and if you do what is it for? Any consequences in setting  a new pw?I am on Windchill PDM link 11.1 CPS 20.

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) 4.0 M140I have an assembly with two parts (X & Y) part X is used in a family table. Part Y is assembled to X using datum planes in part X that are set to rotate 180° in part X's family table members. The planes and model Y rotate 180° correctly in the assembly but the cutout created in the assembly of X & Y is not rotated in the family member (changes to part Y appear in the cutout but the defined rotation does not happen). This worked very well in previous versions and works in 4.0 IF the cutout was created in an older version. If the cutout is recreated in 4.0 it does not work. Added zip file with model example of 4.0 behavior. 

On clicking a button, Is it possible to download a mashup ui page (like a screenshot) using any widget/extension ??

After purged all datas in valuestream, those datas are present in postgress database. It should be permenantly deleted right? Is there a option to retrive those purged datas again?

Placed a Line Chart on the Mashup, as soon as Chart Plotted, the chart is not getting placed properly on the dashboard.May be this is due to the Padding issue. To all,   I was wondering if there is a way to add a leader to an auto created BOM balloon on a drawing. I have a view with multiple items that are the same and cannot find how to add another attachment for the additional parts.   Also, does anyone have a custom symbol that you can have multiple balloons for the same leader. this would be good when pointing to a bolted assembly where you have a bolt/screw, washer and nut. This way you have one leader for all three, and don't need three separate balloons for each part.   One more item, is there a way to add in the quantity on the BOM balloon?   Dennis
