Hello,  I can´t figure out by myself the syntax to pass a matrix from excel via SetMatrixValue to Mathcad Prime 7.I was able to write a single variable with "Call WS.SetRealValue("test", 6, "")" with no Problem but I can´t get it working with a matrix. The code I use: Dim MCPath As StringDim path As String path = Ordnerpfad(ActiveWorkbook.Path)MCPath = path & "\Rechenkern\....... Set MC = CreateObject("MathcadPrime.Application") 'CreateObject("Ptc_MathcadPrime_Automation.Application")MC.Visible = TrueMC.ActivateSet WS = MC.Open(MCPath)Call WS.SetRealValue("test", 6, "")Call WS.SetMatrixValue("test2", ?????, "") The variable "test" and matrix "test2" already exist as inputparameters in Mathcad, I simply want to change the value of the matrix like I did with "test". HiI would like to use simple "if" operators in my computation, just because I'm used to do so with Mathcad 15.Is it so that I also need to use "also if" statements with Prime?In some of my computations simple "if" statements appear to work, but for some reason the attached computations result into different results.Could someone clarify why I cannot use only "if" statements? Thanks

However, I still have to take the integral of Werner_E's equation to get the moment graph; and now, I'm trying to take the integral again to get the deflection graph. Is anyone here good enough at taking integrals that you could provide formulas for the integral (as opposed to just using the software to taking the integral) and second integral of the equation in Werner_E's more efficient function V formula? Good Day ThingWorx teams,  I am trying to install ThingWorx 9.3 Postgres on a D:Drive (with 500GB) as the C drive is designed only for the OS and has just 32GB free.   Postgres and JAVA have installed correctly on the D:Drive.  When the ThingWorx installer runs, according to the log, it finds and access both Postgres and JAVA without problems.   I completes the installation, yet fails to connect to ThingWorx at the end of the installation.  I turned off Windows Defender, and even tried restarting ThingWorx in services before the time out.   I un-checked the SSL checkbox when configuring the installer.  This was per a similar post for a similar sounding issue with the ThingWorx Installer.   Ideas for next steps? Thank you.   Preston

Dear all Creo Users,Sometimes I encounter fatal error in creo after some repetitive failed attempt of selecting or some unknown reasons. I have used the searchbar and searched the ptc community for fatal error topic and find that some experts are saying about traceback. What are tracebacks? Are these trail files? Can it help to recover part,assembly files?How can I recover my parts and assemblies and drawings in exact form after this error occurs. Usually ptc creo software completely shuts down after I click ok on fatal error.Any suggestions, ideas, discussions regarding this will be helpful.With regards,Soumya

I'm running ThingWorx 9.3.0 with a PostgreSQL persistence provider and the Audit Subsystem is enabled and capturing lots of audit data (just shy of 1M rows in under a week).  I can run ExportOnlineAuditData to export the data to compressed and localized JSON and I can also run ArchiveAuditHistoryDirectPersistence although I'm not sure what to expect when it runs. But when I run PurgeAuditData the audit log data is still in the database which I can see in Composer and by using pgAdmin to query the audit_subsystem_data table. Why is the audit table not getting purged?

Hi, I was following this guide Digital Twin 302: Configurations and Content Storage in ThingWorx to load a remote pvz file as a project resource in Vuforia Studio. It worked well but in my project the userpick function automatically retrieves the metadata information. How can I retrieve and associate the remote metadata file?In theory Vuforia studio is capable to read the associated CAD information just from the pvz selecting the proper flag during the import. How to do that with remote model import? Many thanks

It used to be that you needed REX to solidify an imported facet feature, but I'm wondering if this can now be done by importing mesh geometry into a Freestyle feature and then solidifying the geometry? This might be underplaying the power of the updated Freestyle feature, but it would be pretty handy to be able to quickly import and immediately edit files for which only facet data is available.

Hi everybodyI'm a french student and I use Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.0 with a student license for a CAD project.I would like to save my .prt files in step 3D, but i can't choose this file extension when I save my project ...Does anyone have a solution ? Hello. I model my own car in Style Tool and face a small problem. I don't understand why does curve direction flip after dropping it on a surface? Here is a picture to make it more clearly for you.In this picture, there are directions (End 1, End 2) of all curves I need that are marked by arrows.        So, my question is: How to make the direction of the projected curve (the arrow of yellow color) from up to down. Thank You in advance. 

I had my license file on a drive (called D drive) that I formatted last year. When I run setup and select the license file on my C drive it says it's valid and I press finish, but when I run Creo Parametric  it pops up the "License request failed for feature" and below that shows the "Requesting PROE_Essentials" and "D:\...dat (-1) Cannot find license file." So it's not updating the license file location it seems. Where is it storing the license location string? Is there a manual way to update that without uninstalling and reinstalling the whole program? (Not sure if uninstalling would fix this). Creo 5 is installed on C and the license file is on my desktop on C along with the setup files. I have no other drives connected anymore. I read that there was a C:\ProgramData\PTC folder but I don't see any Licensing folder in there. Just a Creo and QualityAgent folder.

Perhaps I may have inquired on this years ago, but I am wanting to find the center of gravity points for a series of sketches which will be strung together as a reference for a Swept Blend. I do not own BMX so I can't directly enter the needed points in the model. Is there a best way of determining the sketch center of gravities and place the corresponding point in the sketch? In the past I used a work around in which I had to solve for each of the X, Y and Z values with an extrude to each section and separately enter the X,Y and Z values.  In Creo 7 it is seeming to be more of a challenge, but I likely eventually will figure out how to use the slow method.  By any chance is there a quicker way to do this?

Let me start by saying everything works perfectly in preview, but not on HoloLens. I'm creating an experience where certain models appear and disappear depending upon which 3D toggle is active/inactive.  There are three toggles that make the same model appear (it's generic and has no sequences or animation). When the other toggles are selected, the generic model will disappear, but none of the other models (all of which DO have sequences) do not appear. Whilst playing around with a Newton-Raphson solver for a simultaneous set of functions, I noted a disparity between the Mathcad 15 and Mathcad Prime 7 results for the Jacobian of one set of functions.  To eliminate the possibility of other parts of the worksheet contaminating the environment, I copied the function to a blank worksheet.   Unfortunately, I get the same results.      Why is the derivative d/dξ for just cos(x₀) yet isn't when multiplied by x₀??     Mathcad 15 returns the result I expect.   Does this happen in Mathcad Prime 6 under the legacy symbolic engine? Is there a valid reason why this MP7 behaviour occurs? If so, should it? If not, is it a bug?   Stuart

Hi,I am working on ThingWorx HA deployment architecture using Dockers. I am reading the documentation and found HA Deployment Considerations mentioned about having 3 Zookeeper nodes but Using ThingWorx Docker in an HA Clustering Environment didn't mentioned about it (Mentioned only about Connections Server, Ignite and ThingWorx Foundation) Don't we need Zookeeper when we are using Docker based deployment?Am I missing something here?

I looked around for a solution but to no avail. Changing the config.pro pen_line_weight has no effect on my drawings. I tried using a pen table but did not get the results I was looking for. Using the pen table (I think) means that all geometry lines printed with pen 1 will all have the same line thickness. This means that, not only geometry lines but drawing border lines will be the same thickness... which I don't want. PTC TPI 117022 suggests changing the line weight config.pro option which will not overwrite user-defined thickness. I have made sure that I have no table.prt files, the option to use pen tables is removed from config.pro and the option to use pen tables for PDF is removed. Lines that have user-defined thickness print with correct weight but no matter what number I put in to the pen 1 and pen 2 options, geometry and dimension lines are not affected (too thick and too thin respectively). Currently using Creo2.0 m50. What am I missing?   Thanks all.

Hello everyone, I am working on a specific case and I have a problem writing the correct code. Let me explain it.The file is attached. Even though some parameters are red, they are all known. I just had too much data to include in the file, and I just wanted to keep it simple. My goal is to obtain n1,n2,n3,n4,n5 coefficients, along with T1new, such that f(T) for this T1new will be equal to zero. Moreover, f1,f2,f3,f4,f5 must be equal to zero as well. As a result, I want to achieve such n1-n5 and T1new, that f1-f5 will be zero and f(T1new) will be zero. All other parameters are known. I am not even sure if I am on the right track to find the solution.Any help would be appreciated. RegardsMurarz  

Hello. I am trying install PTC Mathcad Prime Tryal version for 30 days but i am not being successful. After all procedure in PTC Web Installation Assistant, in the end, after download files, i have an Error: "Some applications failed or cancelled. Click information icon of failed application for details". I click on information icon and i have this message: "Installation failed. You can Restart the failed application installs or click Exit to close the installer". Can you help me install this trial version?
