I'm wondering when "Thingworx SCO Utilities Subscription" license is required? I can't find any detail explanation on this license. If customer want to manage IoT platform as central hub providing supply chain data from multiple sources (ERP, MES, LIMS...), should I add this license?

Hi I met a problem when I installed ThingworxAnalytics 8.5.12 on windows.  After filling all the required information on installation page, I clicked the next button and met the error.   The error I met just like below picture.   I followed the guide from this url(https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_analytics_8/#page/analytics%2Fanalytics_windows_installation%2Fgraphic_mode_analytics_server_windows.html%23).   Also I have already confirmed that the thingworx is still running on 140.118.122.115:32522 and get the application key from thingworx. (It shows like below picture)     I want to ask: 1. How can I solve the error which is described at upper part? 2. Where can I find the java truststore password. (Also, should I fill in with java truststore password from the device which installed the analytical server or the device which installed thingworx?)

My program intent tis to create a Shrinkwrap of the current assembly.     I am using ProSolidShrinkwrapMdlnameCreate to create the SW.  And setting options prior to the function call as shown in the examples.  Export is working, but I need the Shrinkwrap to include a specific Csys.   The csys is a specific name.   So to my actual issue -  there are functions to set the options of the Shrinkwrap, and one is for including datum references - perfect!  ProShrinkwrapoptionsDatumrefsSet  takes for the second argument a ProSelection *   an array of Proselections.     Does anyone have an example where they have generated an array of ProSelection,  using a selection in which they generated from a geomitem?     (there are utilities in the Protk folder to find the csys by name and convert to sel)  I have that.     Thanks for any Help!

Hi,  I have enabled https configuration in server.xml in Tomcat folder. What are steps to follow in Azure IoT Hub configuration to enable the https? I am using Thingworx 8.5.1 version and IoT Hub 3.0.2. I have added below configuration in environment variable. azre-iot service is not running if set below configuration. Azure IoTHub connector was working correctly without enable https and also receiving the data correctly from Azure IoT Hub to Thingworx. I have followed Thingworx help document.     "AZURE_IOT_OPTS=-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 9.0\conf\cacerts-customized -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=xxxxxxx"   Also, I have updated in conf. This is not directly a simulation topic, although the model is intended for simulation. Assuming I have friends in this forum, you might be more willing to help out, than in the modeling forum where I'm not known...Can anyone import this step file, create a "mirror" feature, about the section plane, and create a "mirrored" copy of this imported geometry, and export the result as a solid / step...I.e. I need the mirrored copy merged with the existing geometry into one solid (original+mirror). I'm stuck with Solidworks, which it seems, can't do it. ( *frustrated* )Grateful for any help...

Hi,   I have been trying to set up a chalk session with my colleague, but the Session closes before the connection is fully set up, he can't see my screen, even when I had finished scanning the environment. Then the Session automatically closes. The  https://networktest.twilio.com/ test shows no problems. Are the PTC servers working? (we are in Switzerland)   Thank you for your quick response,   Alex  

Hello.   I have a 3D model created in Creo, for which I have some sequences. I can navigate through the sequences (either through a dropdown, in the phone experience, or by pressing buttons inside the Hololens 2 experience), and I can play the animation of a sequence by hitting the Play button.   However, on some sequences, the animations start playing ONLY AFTER you press the Play button a second time. On the phone experience, you can see that when the animation is being played, the Play button is disabled. On some sequences, you have to press the button twice to have the button disabled, and on others (especially the 2nd to last, called "Set Robot to working position") the button is disabled after the first click.   On Hololens 2 we have the same behaviour, the animations start playing for the "Set Robot to working position" on the first press, but on the others the animations start playing only after the second press (you can also see the label that indicates whether

Every time I go over a part with the mouse, CREO 3.0 fills that part with color. It makes it extremely hard to select anything, or even to view the part. And the worst time it does that is when in Assembly mode, the only way to be able to select is to magnify like crazy. This is stupid, frustrating and very time consuming. Tried to turn if off to no avail. Please see clips attached. Does anyone know where to turn this feature off?  Thank you!

Hi all, in my first post, I've been pulling my hair out as to how to assign and format units correctly.   In the plot within the attached workbook, I would love the axis to be labelled (x)psi & (y)lbf, but I'm out of luck trying to get them there with the auto-formatting which mathcad employs.   Any hints would be gratefully received!   Thanks Andy

The problem with the attached worksheet is 1- it doesn't start from zero amplitude2- I don't know how to add the factor (x-vt) , x= position and v=the sound speed, to simulate the wave train propagation in "x" direction.Could you please give me some hints.All the best Payman

Hello,   I am new to Creo parametric. I have a requirement where I want to export a part/assembly/drawing from Creo Parametric to an external file(s), which in turn will be stored in some vault. I want to be able to import the file(s) back to creo parametric from the vault and get the part/assembly/drawing details same as it was originally, without any loss of information.   I have tried exporting the part file to Creo View format. But the when I try to import it back, some features in the model tree are missing. I am keeping the default import and export profile options. I have attached screenshots of the import and export profile options, original part and the re-imported part.   Is there any import options that need to be set or changed to reconstruct the part from exported file exactly as the original? Or is there any other format or method to achieve this?   Thanks, Apoorva

 Hi everyone, in my project I need to optimize some PVZ with complex geometry. PVZ it's 330MB, when I try to optimize with Vuforia Studio Optimzer tool the operation fail adn I need to close broser windows and re-open Vuforia Studio.    I also tried to setup a procedure as described here: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Vuforia-Studio/Optimize-PVZ-before/m-p/649592 and all is working fine for models without complex geometry.    Anyone has some help?

Hi everybody,   I have some dudes, I want to know what is the best practice for devices that I want record historical data. I have Temperature/Humidity devices and I don't know what is the best practice. I have two questions: 1. Is it better to have streams as devices? 2. Now I have a value stream associated to a template for record historical data because I need temperature or humidity data, It's well done? My objetive later is make a Time series chart with the historical data, what is the best option?   pd: please I know this article Difference between Streams, Value Streams and Datatables in ThingWorx  but I need to choose which is the best option when I have remote devices that will send to a broker the data and the broker will be comunicate with Thingworx.    Thank you in advanced, Luis.

Hi, Currently I used the google map widget to display some data with different color representations, Now I have to add legends for that colors.   Is there any way in thingworx to use one widget above another widget using CSS or Z-index ??? Please take a look at this UX for better clarity....  Like in this design,  I need to display legends on top of the google map widget...   

I have a assembly model that is failing when I open it. I says that a model is missing. An instance of a family table was obsoleted, but I do not see where in the assembly that the missing part is suppose to be. When I go back into the family table, and temporarily add the instance it is looking for, the assembly model is "happy" but I still do not see where the model it was looking for is supposed to be. Here is the tree and model info screen shots both before and after adding the missing instance back into the family table. Again, I do not see where the part is suppose to be. Is there a way that it could have been hidden?   Assembly before the missing instance was recreatedAssembly after the missing instance was recreated

In Creo Parametric 2D drawings, is there a way to change the notes that are added when I introduce a section or a detailed view in a drawing?   For instance, the default for a new section view is "Section X-X", but I would like to change the word "Section" to the equivalent in my language automatically, as changing it by hand every time is tedious. Similarly, I would like to edit the default note for all detailed views.     Do I have to edit the iso.dtl file? I am aware that something similar exists for auxiliary views (http://support.ptc.com/help/creo/creo_pma/usascii/index.html#page/detail/detail_options.html, see "aux_view_note_format") but I could not find any similar configuration option for sections or detailed views.   Thanks in advance!

I want to evaluate G(s); however it say its not compatible.  Why is this, since its simple multiplication?

Currently we publish our Creo drawings in HPGL and create a content association with the WTPart, users outside of Engineering are encouraged to work "Part Centric" and go to the WTPart primarly and find the drawing from there, however many still search directly for the .drw file, to add to that we also store drawing from suppliers as PDFs in a WTDocument. So there is a lot of confusion amongst different user groups around the business about how to find drawings. Getting drawing out to suppliers is also problematic, some departments will open the drawing in Creo View and save out as PDF with terrible quality.   To improve access for everyone I was looking at Post-publishing the pdfs into a WTDocument which is much easier to find from the WTPart through Describing documents. I have this working but the WTDoc has a different version to the Part and the Creo Drawing, which will lead to massive confusion, I cant find a solution to keep the versions aligned, honestly I dont see the poin
