Hi,I have a range of drawings that I have stored on Windchill. How do I genereate PDF files of these drawings? And is there a way of storing them/ exporting them to an external location outside of Windchill?Is this something that is done within Creo or Windchill?Thnaks.

Hi dear Community   My Windchill version is 11.2.Tried to add additional members to CIB during a Change Notice (in a specific product). Under Team there are a lot of predefined Roles (like CA 1, CRB etc.) but there is no CIB and I could not add the CIB role there. The only way I could achieve this is to make a product specific Change Notice Team from Team Templateand change (for the product) the OIR for Change Notice from the default Change Notice Team to my product specific, Change Notice Team. Am I missing something ? This is the right procedure ?   As far as I know CIB decisions are still offline, Change Admin II as chairman conducts the coordination and decides to approve or not the procedure. Is there a way to online inform (through Windchill I mean) the other CIB members ? In order to achieve this must I change the out-of-the box Workflow of Change Notice ?   Thanks in advance

I am having troubles getting multiple solutions for this system (with an underdamped response). I am using PTC MathCad Prime 5.0 Does anyone have suggestions?It works to use the root function, within a specific interval, but this function does not return all the solutions. I would like an way to get the solutions without necessarily knowing the interval.

Hi All,   In solidworks I have design with 4-configurations. While CheckIn with auto associate Parts we get only generic CAD associated with WTParts. All Configurations are shown under the family Table. Expectation is to have these configurations should show in EBOM like WTPart Structure. Thanks, Vishvanatha

I am using Mathcad 15. I have downloaded many zipped XMCD files from this community site in the past. Now whenever I search topics regarding queries I have, the attached zipped files now seem to always be MCDX which I believe is a Prime file. When extracted these files are "greyed" in the file explorer and will not open. Is there something I need to do to convert to Mathcad format? Many Thanks Ross

I am working on a design and I need to extrude 1 mm normal to a curved top surface. Reference simple part example. The top surface is not continuous. Hello, sorry for my english if i make mistakes. I have an issue with Creo 2.0. I installed the full package, all good, except Parametric. Seems to run, the first window appears Then nothing... Doesn't open ... Creo Simulate, or others programs from Creo works. Please help quickly. I have deadlines for this week. I need help step by step because i'm not so good with this software. Hello, I am trying to install creo 7.0 for students. After installing i tried to open creo parametric but recieved this error: There is not a lot of information about what is wrong with the license.   I used this link for download: https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/academic-products/free-software/creo-college-download/thank-you Here I could open a .pdf and found this license code: BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI Then i used this in the installer and it created a license (name : BK700908EDSTUDENTEDUNI_license.dat) This file is uploaded with the post.   Since this didn't work I also tried to use a license that was send to me by email. (name sw_license_email_4990554.dat)   Both don't work. Then i have also tried to recieve a license via k12 students with similar results. In the installer the codes are available but they don't work for creo parametric.   Can somebody please help?

Hi, I try to execute a Thingworx service (Action "Service Execute") with a boolean input value in a Flow. The Boolean input parameter for the executed action is given from the input parameter (also Boolean) from the Flow itself.   The issue is that I cannot bind the Input params (oder params from other actions) to the Boolean input (like I could with any other input type like a String). I only can choose between a fixed true or false; see attached image. There is a option to not use the "Form" input a apply a JSON, but that does not work either. Because my second input variable (which is a String) is getting ignored somehow.   (i.e. {"BoolVar":{{$Service.BoolInput}},"order":{{$Service.orderNo}}} )   I don't like workarounds like: - Duplicate the action (one with "true", the other with the "false" input) - Change the input variable of the Thingworx service from Boolean to String because this is a fairly simply use case and it just would make things more complicated

Hi,   I have configured Thingworx 8.5.1 with HA Configuration. Observed primary Tomcat was stopped and pointed to secondary server. I did not get the reason why Tomcat stopped. Also, verified system is not rebooted during that time. I have observed below errors on "tomcat9-stdout" file. Is Tomcat stopped because of below errors? I was wondering if there is a permission that I can give users so they can see the part numbers in a Windchill Product, but not be able to open them?   We have Government documents that can't be accessible to all employees, so we have them in a separate Product. However this creates a bit of an issue when a person outside of the product searches for a part number, they get no return. So they think possibly it doesn't exist and try to use the part number. Then when they go to Check-In, it obviously says the number is not unique.   So I want it to still show up in searches, but they don't have read or write access to it. In Windows permissions its called LIST, didn't know if that existed in Windchill or not. Thanks

I clicked on the attached website for downloading the software and your system didn't allow me to go to that site or any site in the e-mail with the license files. Yesterday, someone had me download the trial version of Prime; however, there was no means of how to utilize a license file. Which of my license files is used for MathCad-15 and which one is used with Prime-4 (which I had previously)? So I've created a sweep in an assembly as shown in the image. This sweep will be the mirrored to create two rails underneath a bicycle seat, however after creating the sweep, it isnt creating a solid shape, its just showing me where it would be, ive used points and a 3D curve to create the sweep geometry.    Is there any way i can copy out all the points and the curve created from the points to create the sweep in a new file as a new part, that way i can add this new part into the assembly?

I met a problem when I installed ThingworxAnalytics 8.5.12 on windows. I filled in the required information smoothly until it required the SSL thingworx connection like below picture.     1. Where can I find the SSL Certificate File from thingworx's path? At the present, I try to find the .pem file in the path(/etc/ssl/certs) but there are too many .pem file (below pictures are all .pem files in /etc/ssl/certs) that I confused which one is the correct .pem file I should upload.   2. What is the name of SSL certificate file I should upload or should I find it on other path in thingworx?

CSS in my underlying mashup: .edit-sim .BMCollectionViewSupplementaryView, .BMCollectionViewCellWrapper {position: relative !important;left: auto !important;top: auto !important;transform: none !important;width: 100% !important;}   I added a custom class to the collection in my underlying widget (edit-sim). However, the width 100% messes up my main mashup that contains a collection widget. All cells in this collection widget (that I gave the custom class 'collection') line out and fill the whole width. How to add an extra CSS part in this main mashup that puts away the width 100%?   Thanks in advance
