TWX 9.1 I have 2 dropdowns, I want to reset/clear selection for first dropdown when the selected row is changed in second dropdown. How to acheive this?

Hi guys, I am trying to start using the framework extension with Creo 7. I am building a simple frame where there are 4 profiles connected together for the frame's top and 4 legs connected at corners. I am able to do joints for the top but when I try to connect the top with legs I get error message asking me Overwrite existing join? No matter what I do I am unable to connect this profile with existing joint to another profile to the leg.I watched some YT videos and there presenters are able to do what I want. What could I be doing wrong?Thank you.

I am creating a new drawing format and in the table where I show the file name I am using the parameter &PTC_WM_NUMBER. So if the file name is 123456abc.prt it shows up in the tile block as 123456abc.prt.     I want to find a way to remove the extension .prt or .asm and just show the file name "123456abc".

Hi there,   how can the browser cache be disabled in embedded chromium browser? Some sources say, that You just can open Chrome and disable it via settings -> more tools -> developer tools -> Network -> "disable cache". But this seems only to work for the "real" chrome browser and has no effect on the embedded browser.   In the embedded chrom(ium) browser only refreshes the base page (e.g. test.php) and its included javascript (<script src="test.js" type="text/javascript" ></script>) but not javascript files, that were included afterwards ( document.write("<script type=\"text/javascript\" src=\"my-lib.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>'); )   any help would be appreciated. In Creo 6.0.4.0 I can run Live Simulation without any problems but in Creo 7.0.2.0 I can only assign constraints and loads as the Simulate 'button' is locked. Without adding floating license the constraint and loads icons including Simulate icons are greyed out. Anyone experienced this issue.  

I'm writing a small Thingworx service to push some data from repository in Thingworx to an external service (Elasticsearch) over REST and need to send some data in Base64 format   I'm using LoadBinary and base64EncodeBytes to load and convert the data, but the output result of base64EncodeBytes snippet contains "_" characters which are illegal base64 characters. PTC's example uses OpenDJ Community Edition. https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS337554 This software hasn't been maintained since 2017. https://forgerock.github.io/opendj-community-edition/ I'm guessing companies will have a problem with this from a security perspective.  What are others planning to do for production and non-production systems: buy OpenDJ commercial version or use OpenLDAP, ApacheDS, Active Directory, other? I would like to use something that is platform agnostic so Active Directory isn't at the top of my list. After a quick search, I didn't find a windows flavor of OpenLDAP.  Maybe I just didn't search hard enough... I have a part in one of my BOMs that I don't have access to modify the parameters of. The parameter being referenced is TITLE1, but for this part in particular TITLE1 is blank and TITLE2 contains the actual part name that I need. Is there a way to override this without breaking the relations in the table? Can I change the parameter being referenced for only this cell?

I have a Mathcad Prime license, with Mathcad 15 software associated.I successfully moved Mathcad Prime to another PC, thanks to the fact that I got from PTC the new license and I have the source and installation software on a CD.On the other side, I couldn't install Mathcad 15, because in the past I downloaded it on the old PC from PTC web site, but now I cannot manage how to do this.Please, help me in installing Mathcad 15 on my new PC.Thank you.Sarah Bollanti

Hello, I'm working on a proof of concept to establish connect remote plc with thingworx that is installed on cloud. To give an overview of current setup we have   PLC and Kepware installed on prem ( in private network ), and  Kepware, and Thingworx installed on a EC2 in AWS in public network.   What is best way to connect both of them? I wish to send data from Kepware ( on prem ) to Thingworx (on cloud) but currently it doesn't work as both are in different networks.      

Hi everybody,   I want to know if it's possible implementing a tracking indoor with a head map in Thingworx.   I need a mashup like the following image. For example, I have a sensor in a wheelbarrow and in red is the zone where wheelbarrow is passing more often.   The problem is that the mashup must be in indoor. - How can I perform this with the plane of the warehouse?  - Exist a extension or PTC Solution for that purpose? - If the only way is with google map widget  how can make it possible without the plane? Alright, so I'll do my best to explain this annoying issue, so bare with me and I'll respond to any questions. I will try to load any pictures later that my boss approves.First, let me describe the part. For simplicity's sake, It's basically a block with a square cutout in the center of this block. It's really more complex than this but after some elimination of features, I have figured out what's causing the problem. There is a slot that follows the center cutout's profile. The slot is 0.078" wide and rests 0.035" - 0.055" outward from this center cutout. I know the slot is causing the issue as when I suppress feature, save part, close the program, re-enter the program, and open the part, this issue still occurs.What is happening is every time I open this part, it shows this center cutout is filled in. Also, It still shows the edge that would be there as if the cutout was still there. Once I relocate the insert tab in the tree, edit a feature or move a feature, etc etc, the graphics f

I was curious whether it is possible to query some basic information from an AR experience service in Thingworx.  Basically, I'd like to be able to call a service in Thingworx that returns some information on the AR experiences that have been published to an experience service on the same server.  Would it be possible to get a list of experiences that have been published?  Basic information about individual experiences such as the author, thingmark association, description, etc?  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Greetings!   I'm installing ThingWorx Platform 9.1 in clustered (active-active) mode and I can't make it work. My Ignite 2.8.0 service is running and also Zookeeper 3.5.7. But when I try to run Tomcat 9.0.41 it loads and after a few seconds it crash. As you can see in the provided log problem is in ConsistentId null. I don't know why ThingWorx cannot connect to Ignite through Zookeeper. All of the instances are running on one server. However it wasn't working even on dedicated servers. The system I'm running is fully upgraded Ubuntu 20.04 and Java is OpenJDK Runtime Environment Corretto-11.0.9.12.1. I also run Zookeeper, Ignite and Tomcat as services. I exported IGNITE_HOME and IGNITE_WORK into /etc/environment for sure. Tcpdump shows no activity after starting tomcat so I assume that Thingworx is not connected even to Zookeeper. I even try to set -J-DIGNITE_JETTY_PORT=9999 and admin.enableServer=false so port 8080 is free for Tomcat but it didnt help. Could you help me with that

I am using Creo Parametric - Release 4.0 (connected) 4.0 M130Hi Team,I am using Visual Studio 2015 to create a function to loop through Creo parts and store them in a vector/map.When I try to include #include & #include into the solution, it throws up many errors.I did check the similar issue raised on PTC(https://community.ptc.com/t5/Customization/toolkit-c-include-failed/m-p/578733#M7858), but even after following those steps the errors still remained.

Is it possible to disable the animation of collapsing and expanding containers in a mashup?  When I trigger an expand/collapse of a container in the mashup there is a brief "sliding" of the container to show or hide it.  I would like to immediately show or hide the container without the sliding animation.  One of my biggest gripes is when I have a container with expand/collapse enabled and the "Expanded" checkbox disabled (I don't want to show the container when the mashup loads).  When users load the mashup, the container appears and slides away for about a second.   I've tried adding a custom css class to the container where the class has "animation: 0s", but that doesn't do anything.  Any ideas?
