This issue started after ugrading from windchill 9 to 10.Here is our practice:1-We have a top level assembly which has a predefined simplified rep called EMPTY that excludes every component by default.2-We add this top level assembly with collector option "none" in to a brand new workspace.3-Now we only have one single file in our workspace which is that top level assembly file.4-We file>Open Rep this file and select the simp rep called EMPTY.5-Now we have the context of the top level assembly in Pro/e whose model tree is available.6-We don't need all sub assemblies to work with so we only expand the nested subassemblies until we reach the one we need for our design.7-Then we include that particular assembly by right mouse click >Rep>Master or geometry rep. And it shows up on the screen.Like this we bring all the environment geometry into the session. Hi,   is it possible to use the integration runtime SAP oData connector to authenticate via a token?   The process will be as followed: 1. Request with username/password to endpoint "GetToken" 2. Response is body with json values where I get my access token 3. Use the access token to authenticate to SAP   There is something for CSRF token requests. But I am not sure if this is the same thing. Right now my settings are this: Authentication type: Fixed Auth. Server ID: -empty- Rel. URL for CSRF Get Request: /v1/auth/.../token CSRF Token Name: acc_token HTTP Connector Connection Settings: Username & Password for token endpoint Base URL, rel. URL as needed for SAP...   It worked for my endpoint where no authentication is required. But for this one I've only get a 401 - Unauthorized.

I've been trying to make some procedures in my HoloLens, but when I try to sign in it throws the error "We can't connect to the service you need right now. HTTP 400 error".   Is this an organization problem or a VEC application problem?

I have created and saved a part in PTC Creo Parametric (Student Edition) and when I try to import the file into a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software the FEA software fails to open CAD file and shows 'Failed to load input file'. What is the reason of this? Is it because I am using Creo Student Edition?

Hello all,   I am planning on making my Mathcad sheets more efficient and wanted the sheets to select by themselves from tables the properties of steel sections as shown in my screenshot. And recieve an output in my calculation sheet.   Unfortunately I have not come to a good solution. I managed to reference for example three different sheets with for 3 section types (each sheet has one table with all the section properties), but once Mathcad discovers the desired section in a row ( lets say row "x") it also goes into the following referenced sheets and reads the line x in all tables and gives me the output from the last sheet I referenced. How can I make Mathcad stop reading tables once it found the right table? Or do I have a completely wrong approach to it? Thank you very much already for your help, Joe

I have a doubt, if I have a model of a CAD part, which contains:1 The master REP.2 A User Defined Sim.Rep.(This is because I have a Drawing with 2 Sheet, 1 Active, Linked to User.Def.Rp). and one inactive for the publication related to the master rep).When I go to assemble the part, I know that I have to know which representation is the right one. The questions are as follows: A) - There is a way to tell "Windchill" that the primary representation is the User defined, and not the Master rep. (Of the Part)? B) - In the same way there is a way to tell the CAD worker that converts the CREO file in CATIA to convert the User defined representation and not the Master rep (of the part)? I thought about creating a configurable assembly and insert only the part once in the User defined version, and insert it again in the Master version, and make the drawing starting from this assembly and in One sheet put the assembly model in a configuration (therefore with only one part), and on the othe

Hi,   I have a 3D checkbox and label of instruction. After the first step finished playing, user will check on the checkbox, the ✓ mark will be displayed then the second step will automatically being played. However, currently the checkbox will remain checked even though the second step playing. I want the checkbox to unchecked on the next step.    Need advice regarding this issue.   Thanks. 

Files attached when creating a new case are being stamped with the wrong time.  I created a case 45 minutes ago and attached thee files at the same time.  Those files are all stamped with a future time that hasn't occurred yet and this is messing up the sort order with the rest of the case activity.  These three attachments should be at the bottom of the page since they are actually the first activity.  It seems that UTC times are being displayed but then called EDT, which they are not.

Hello, I followed various articles from community forum here as well as this TWX article. and I am still having issues with my code outputting to an InfoTable. I am using an API to fetch Stock Price JSON data and having it be converted to an InfoTable, so it can be displayed into a graph in Mashups.    I've attached screenshots of my DataShape Field Definitions as well as the JSON Data Output.   The TWX code, with it outputting the columns with "No Data" is below. I've tried playing around with the for loop and doing a data.array.length but that mentions length is undefined. I am not sure if that would output to it being an InfoTable either. Hi there, our users required to enable the search for empty attribute fields. The Windchill documentation states that this can be done by setting the property com.ptc.windchill.search.queryBuilder.enableNullCriteria in wt.properties.xconf to true.   I am used to edit settings with the xconfmanager tool. How to designate parameters automatically using Model check ?

I am a user of (real) Mathcad for a long time and now shifted to Mathcad Prime 7.0 and have started learning it. I am facing a problem in using symbolic evaluation in solve blocks using Mathcad Prime. It was a bit easy in (real) Mathcad but now I don't know what's the problem and why prime is not showing the answer. The problem statement in (real) Mathcad is  But when I use the same steps to solve the problem in Mathcad Prime it is showing a question mark with no hint of where the problem occurs. Please guide me, what am I missing or it is some incapability of prime that (real) Mathcad has for years.

Hello everyone, I am trying to manage visibility and permissions in Thingworx 8.5. The problem is that I want to set visibility and permissions on a certain mashup but when I go to that mashup and set the organization, when I then connect to the user who should see that mashup, he sees nothing (see the images). This is a example of the mashup In that mashup I put the organization which contain the user who must have visibility of this mashup. But when I log with the user, the user doesn't see anything. But If the same user is included in de default group SolutionCentralDevelopers in Thingworx 8.5, the user can see the mashup. Is it necessary to include all users in SolutionCentralDevelopers to see mashups with users who are not administrators or system users or I've done something wrong?    Thanks in advance, Luis   

Last Friday, I deleted a scheduler thing named greenhouseSimulator2_Mixing_Scheduler via Composer. Today, I want to create a scheduler thing with the same name using a service inside greenhouseSimulator2 thing, but this error appears:   greenhouseSimulator2 CreateMixingThing error JavaException: com.thingworx.common.exceptions.InvalidRequestException: Thing [greenhouseSimulator2_Mixing_Scheduler] already exists   But if I try to search the greenhouseSimulator2_Mixing_Scheduler via the search bar, there is nothing (it should be like that because I already deleted it before).   I try to delete using the DeleteThing service from EntityServices but ThingWorx can not find the entity (it should be like that because I already deleted it before).   I wonder how I can solve this. I already did these things and all were failed to solve this problem: 1. Restarted the Azure VM containing the ThingWorx server 2. Restarted the Apache Tomcat from Windows Servi

Thingworx Platform 9.1 is already supported Open JDK, so I want to change JVM from java oracle 8 to open JDK (I tried with Amazon Corretto 11 and Adopt OpenJDK 11). I have tried to change JAVA_HOME into OpenJDK directory and %JAVA_HOME%\bin to the PATH in System Environment Variable and restart the ThingWorx services, but the JVM used in ThingWorx is still Java oracle 8. And then, I tried to change JVM version directly from apache tomcat configuration by checklist the "Use Default" check box and restart ThingWorx services, the JVM still not change And then I tried to set directory of OpenJDK jvm.dll file on the Java Virtual Machine field in apache tomcat configuration, but I got an error when I tried to start ThingWorx service.Did anyone has successfully change the JVM version on Thingworx 9.1? (especially from java SE 8 to OpenJDK)Thank you

Hello,   I'm creating a motion skeleton to model a motion platform similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tSbAjnCR18   As you can see, there are ball joint end rods that connect the motor arms to the platform. I was able to model them using ball joints, but by doing so, I am unable to limit the rod from deviating off the same plane of motion as the motor arms (does that make sense??).    I found a similar topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/Constrain-Angular-Travel-of-Ball-Joint/td-p/185979. No one was able to give a solution but someone mentioned how I could use two perpendicular pins to control the range of motion between two perpendicular planes. I've been trying for a while to get it to work but I keep failing. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?    Thank you!
