I'm trying to integrate QR code create/read in our application and came across references in community forum to 'QR Code Extension' on PTC market place. However, I am not able to find it there... Is this extension not supported anymore? Perhaps available through other channels? Thanks in advance!

How do one clean a Thingworx core system?   I have a system running in AWS on AWS-Linux with a MSSQL RDS DB. From time to time developers wants a clean system. Cleaning the DB with thingworxMssqlDBCleanup.sh works well. How do one clean the actual core server. What folders/files can be cleaned to make the installation as good as new.   Kind Regards    

The duplicate mashups that were available in the 8.4.4 version in my application are now not loading after a version upgrade but the Asset advisor is loading when we navigate from PTC.FactoryConsole.

I'm currently creating a Mashup that will be used to create and edit data tables without having to go into Thingworx Composer. I have a rough editor, but I need a way for the user to choose whether they are editing an existing data table or creating a new one. Let me outline the process I want. First, they will need to choose whether or not they are creating a new table or loading an existing one. I have facilitated this by creating a separate mashup that has two buttons that the user can click: "Create New" and "Load Existing". Second, they need to either enter the needed data to create a new table or choose which table they are going to edit. Completing this step will then take them to the actual editor, so that they can add, update, or delete entries. Hello everyone   For my final project i have to use real time data in Vuforia Studio. I know i have to convert this data from the Thingworx platform but not how. In the first link below i read that the same URL for Vuforia Studio and thingworx is mandatory. I have two different URL's and it is not possible to use one of my URL's for both programs. I am facing a problem and can't figure out what is going on. I have seen previous posts on the community but not able to grasp the concept of vectors. Please, someone, explain the difference in clear terms so that nothing remains ambiguous. The first problem is I am trying to return two vectors in a 1x2 vector. This means it will be a nested vector. I have seen some posts where it is done but when I try to do it, it gives the dimension of a vector rather than the vector itself. Of course, the problems resolve when I use the augment command but I want to know why it is not printing the vector. In the below figure (obtain from the community) the D shows the vector elements but when I try to display it again, it display the size of the vector 😫 Similarly, the second problem is that when I try to plot vectors it says, "These array elements must be scalar. They cannot be vectors or matrices". But when I search the community there were examples where these plots were made. So, I am confuse

When using Perspective View mode, I'm used to the eye center being coincident with the center of the screen. After upgrading to Creo 4 from 3 (though this may have nothing to do with the upgrade), I am now noticing that the eye center is not always at the center of the screen where it should be. Even within the same assembly model, sometimes the eye center is where it should be, sometimes it's off to the left, sometimes it's down off the screen entirely, etc.. I have not been able to find any built-in controls to move the eye center directly. Do these exist? What could be causing it to move around on its own?        

With documents in Windchill, we can add a secondary content document that is attached to the primary document and can only be access from the primary content document. Is this possible to do with a WTpart or an assembly/part file as the primary file? We would like to attach some reference documentation to a part or assembly (or WTpart) but we do not want it created as a stand alone document in Windchill that has to be managed for revision and location.

I have simple create Thing service that works fine when I test it in Thingworx. But when trigered via postman it returns error: "TypeError: Cannot call method "CreateThing" of null" Permissions seem not to be the problem. Im guessing its something simple but im stumped. The scenario is many assets need to upload data. I want to post data with updatePropertyValue service by REST. But i'm not sure how much freqency and how many assets the platform can support? For example, 50 signals post per 5 seconds, how many assets by REST?

I'm trying to install Foundation 9.1 trial, with no success. I have checked the Java version,it's OK. The installer goes on untill step 3, without problem. I can even see the installer creates the folders for the program, but then I receive a message error, telling that the installation failed, and the application will exit. And all the new folders disappear.  

For a project (designing a log splitter) at school I am now working with Mathcad for the first time. However, I am now running into some problems. Maybe it's something really silly but I can't manage to solve two unknown variables from two equations. On the internet it is done with the find() function, but for me it doesn't work. Each time the 'find' function will output the follow: Find(Ay, By) --> Find(Ay, By) where Ay and By are the unknown values.   If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know.   All variables and other text is in Dutch but this should not be a problem as it only concerns page 3.   thank you in advance!   Dennis,

hi,   i wanted to use a square wave to drive a mass spring damper system. i usually use the state space solver, as it has worked better than the other solvers. however, in this case, i get an error. note, the worksheet isn't fully setup yet, due to the error. i was trying to make an example, since there aren't any quick sheets for a square wave.   thanks,   anthony

We are working on configuring SSO for our ThingWorx 9.0 deployment and are following the steps in the online documentation.  I've successfully configured SSO for earlier versions of ThingWorx (8.x), but I've never quite understood what is going on in this step, "Create the symmetric Folder": https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx%2FHelp%2FComposer%2FSecurity%2FSSO%2FCreateSymmetricFolder.html%23    - Is this "metafile" we create in the ssoSecurityConfig directory supposed to have a specific name?  - Are we supposed to use the "Keyczar" tool to do something?   - Does the 'keyczarKeyFolderPath' parameter in 'sso-settings.json' need to be set to the directory (...\ssoSecurityConfig\symmetric) or is it supposed to be set to the actual "metafile" (...\symmetric\mymeta.file)?- Should I worry about this step if we're not using OAuth tokens?   The steps aren't entirely clear.
