Hello, I have recently imported the Mail Server Extension (v3.4) in to Thingworx v9. Configuration of the inherited Thing is: SMTP Server name configured, SMTP Server Port 25, no authentication   When manually invoking the SendMessage Service I get the following error message: Unable to Invoke Service SendMessage on MailServerThing : Couldn't connect to host, port: localhost, 80; timeout 30000   This says to me that it's still trying to connect to SMTP server on the local machine through port 80, despite the configuration.   Any ideas? Hi ThingWorx Navigate Team,   Need your assistance...!!!   Currently have the PTC ThingWorx Lab files installed on my machine & trying to launch the Apache Tomcat/7.0.52 Home Page in order to navigate & click Manage Apps tab. But, unfortunately the system does not do anything after the following the Installation Prerequisites Guide.  (Not able to proceed beyond step 16 - Operating System - Windows).   Please find the attachment for your reference. Hi,  I signed up for the hosted server trial - have about 27 days to go.  I'm able to connect through the REST API and postman to my server, however Thingworx Academic Simulator doesn't seem to connect - I get the messages(after a 10 second timeout) - 'Unable to connect, check your port' - looked at the code for Thingworx Academic Simulator (which is an electron/node.js app) and it seems that the interface is just sending a REST API call to /Thingworx/Things before issuing that message (which seems to be the default one). Can't understand why the TAS isn't working when the REST API does in Postman with 200 OK.  Any idea what's going on?  Have checked my firewall etc and nothing is blocking.   My settings: Server URL: pp-2010211547rh.devportal.ptc.io Application Key (used a member with privileges on things as well as administrator) Port: 8443 (or 443 - both work with REST API) Secured Server checked on

  Hi, hoping you're doing well   I'm pretty new with thingworks and some functionalities still confuses me...   I need develop an aplication that:   - select a date range (I didn't see a Calendar Widget) and pass it to a service to make a query and get the results from db   - from a service read data from db and fill a List   - from the selection of the list execute a query to read data from db   - from a service read data from db and fill a Graph   Also I need to manipulate de data from the query (make some calculations) and show them in the mashup   If you can give a coding example (or several) i'll appreaciate it.....   Best Regards, Marcos

I have this Issue when modeling parts and creating drawings:   I try to select a line or surface that is visible in my current view and Creo defaults to try and select a hidden line or surface. 99% of the time I want to select what I can see.   How do I stop it from doing this?    If it matters my Display Style is usually on Shading with Edges.

I am a college professor and have been teaching/using ProE/Creo for decades.  I've installed and assisted students in installing CREO especially in the past 8 months. We use the install_creo6_unistudent_standard.pdf document.    Now I am trying to reinstall CREO 6.0 on my home PC again, follow these instructions, it seemed to work, the got a license failed.  I did get a JRE not up to date, but no indication that CREO Parametric license failed. I've wiped everything I can find that might be PTC related and tried again and now get the message above.   I would like to to load CREO 7.0 eventually, since some of my students have it and I can't open their files.  However I can't find any CREO 7.0 student edition installation guide and I can't get past the Error!.

I'm trying to load historical data into Thingworx and tried several approaches but still can't get the desired result and/or performance   So, I have a bunch of data (~30 devices, ~40 sensors per device, ~120 000 data points per sensor, with timestamps). I'm using ValueStreams to store data.   The first thing I tried is just to use PUT with "https://<thingworx>/Thingworx/Things/<thingname>/Properties/*". This way I can load all 40 sensors woth a single REST request, and Thingworx consumes something like 150 PUT requests / sec. Works like a charm and quite fast for a laptop VM, but I couldn't find a way to pass my datetime values into timestamp and timestamps I'm getting are as of when data was loaded. I can create a separate parameter, like 'event_time', but I'd have to write wrapper services for timestamp-based Thignworx OOTB services, like QueryPropertyHistory, It looks like a kludge / workaround / hack to me, rathert than a feasible solution, and

Hello,   I want to have a clear structure in my working area of CREO. Therefore I am working with folders where each part or construction group is sorted. For an assembly the single parts are sometimes in folders because of the overview and the structure.    When I am loading an assembly it shows me missing parts. The path of those parts didn´t change. Do I have to save every part of an assembly in the path of the assembly (and loose my structure) or is there a different way?   thanks in advance.

I have old popups (static, and made with TW 8.3) that works fine on 8.5, that can be moved.   But if I create a new pupop as responsive (static is shown as legacy so I prefer to not use it), I enable title bar, I open it as "popup" (not modal popup) it opens but the title bar cannot be clicked and so cannot be moved ...   What I'm missing ?

I want to create a link to a different use case Mashup deployed in a Global server. My application sits in a local server. Is it possible to bypass the login popup and open the mashup directly using links or navigation from the local server application?

Hello Developers,   I am new to thingworx 9.0 and trying to build an asset monitoring dashboard in Thingworx app on thingworx 9.0. I am trying to fetch list of assets as mentioned in one of the PTC provided exercises (Manufacturing App) by running service 'GetFilteredAssetList' in thing PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetList.AssetListServiceController. Since i am trying to get similar result in Thingworx 9.0 by running service 'GetFilteredAssetCollection' in PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetList.AssetListServiceController, it is not returning any data. Can anyone please help me in getting replacement of this thing.

I'm trying to setup DCOM consiguration as explained in section 4.1 Configuring the Application at https://www.kepware.com/getattachment/04042e47-c690-467c-a931-a1ca126575db/Remote-OPC-DA-Quick-Start-Guide-DCOM.pdf But, I don't see entry on "OPC Server". Because of that, I can't connect to Kepware OPC server from other machine.

Hi,   Does anyone know how to resolve a "Capacity exceeded: DISPATTR page table entries"? I've hunted everywhere I can think of, including the code. I've found where the message comes from, but now how to set it or resolve it. I'm assuming because it's not set in any configuration that it's using its default value. I apparently have to increase that value, but can't figure out where or how.   On a side note, what is causing it appears to be when I use too many entities within a FOSI stylesheet. Even when I flatten the stylesheet, thereby removing the entities, I still get the error, so I don't think it's the entities themselves, but rather the amount of coding.   Thanks in advance, Bob

Hi Team,     I am using windows 10  64 Bit Enterprise version. When I trying to install "ThingWorx-Foundation-Installer-h2-trial-Windows-9-0-0" it ended up with some error message.   My java version is : C:\Users\eaz>java -version             java version "1.8.0_162"            Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_162-b12)            Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.162-b12, mixed mode)    Here I attached the error message and error log file.
