I recently installed after loader, but I noticed that the viewables are no longer generated on check in. Clicking the visualization window publishes a viewable with the desired attachments with no errors. Dears,  I have two questions. When I am in assembly or part, and want to use option File > Save as > and choose saving type as pdf. Then I get an effect like in attachment. I have a background colour in appearances set as white. Why do i get this navy blue colour as a background in pdf? How can I make it white? Is there a possibility to make a perspective view on the drawing? I am using Creo 5.0 M040.   Thank you in advance for any hints. Robert

First time poster, casual user of MathCAD Prime 6.0, and have a question regarding setting up an equation that has multiple variable inputs (X = 1....100, 10; Y = 2...12, 2; Z.....) and present a table of the input versus output results for the given inputs.     The equation is pretty simple but I'm struggling to figure out 1) what I am missing to make it work and 2) to display a table that would show those inputs versus the output.  Its probably something simple but it's eluding me.      

Hi all, I have some coordinates that I am able to export from another tool to give general component locations, and I'd like to be able to take this file and somehow automate the placement of parts in a blank assembly. Each component could be fixed in place for this, or assembled to a CSYS, if it's eaiser to import a bunch of CSYSs. I have no problem creating an external script to translate the output of the tool in to any format needed, but I just don't know how best to approach the placment of the parts. I looked at trail files, but I don't see a way to use actual numbers for XYZ, since the placement is done with the mouse. Even with AutoIT, I don't see a way to assemble a part and then enter XYZ coordinates for placement. Thanks

Hello everyone,   I have a simple mashup where I want to display data coming from a value stream. I have a remote thing connected to a KepServer Gateway that retrieves sensor data each second. In the mashup builder, I add the queryPropertyHistory service for the data.   Now I insert the Line Chart (Version is Thingworx 9) and link the data from the query to the chart (I choose three signals for the Y Axis and the timestamp (DATETIME) for the X Axis. I also choose maxItems for the query (e.g. 1000).    Now when I open the mashup, the data is loaded and shown properly and is also refreshing and adding the latest data each second. The problem is, that the X-Axis is way to widely scaled for the data points shown (see screenshot). My expectation would be that the X-Axis is limited to something like minimum timestamp in the data query to maximum timestamp in the query (and the window moves with the data). How can I achieve this?     I tried using the 'XAxisMini

Hi, I need to model a kind of rule with dimensions engraved. So, a basic repetition can extrude graduations (@ each centimeter, for example). However, is it possible to repeat a text ? ie 01, 02, 03...19, 20 Can this text be drive by repetition ? If not, I should extrude 20 texts and manually enter values.  Thanks

The selected text of a dropdown widget is not showing up when the service used for the data field (dropdown) is triggered again after the mashup load. I have checked both the services output its working perfectly. I have binded the selected row of the service to a label widget so whenever there is a selected in the dropdown the label gets the data. But when the service for the dropdown is triggered in the middle (example using a button click) the selected text value goes away and the label no longer shows any data. Even if i open the dropdown box and select the same value it wont show up. Only if i change my selected, i can see the data back in the label widget

It's a general problem, but to explain it, I made this assembly ("ASM_A"): In sub-assembly B, there are two Flanges (Placement: "Flange-2 on Flange-1") In assembly A, there is a assembly cut (It dosen't really matter what you cut). Now go to Flange-2 and change the distance between the holes ("mod dim Flange-2")   You can regenerate the model, but it won't fail (even if you can see that it doesn't fit anymore). Now close the assemblys and erase them. If you open up ASM-A, it will still regenerate. Only if you open ASM-B before ASM-A, regeneration will fail.   This is a problem, i can't be sure if my assembly is clean if it doesn't regenerate.   Can anyone reproduce this? And do you know what one can do against it?   Thx   Edit: My problem is the regeneration of the placement of the flanges. Hi, I came across a very strange observation.   I have an user added to a custom user group and this user group has certain permissions .Once that user clears cache and cookies from browser,that user getting removed from the concerned group automatically in the composer.   Any idea about this?   Thingworx version 8.5.4.

Hi, I've found the explanation for a few Diagnostic Information Types within the manuals for Arbortext, such as 5.27, 10.25, 10.26 and 10.27. Through the years, I've come across the setting of 3.27. I've figured out that the last one give a ton of information on the code being processed. However, that's all I know. I have not been able to find a "list," if it exists, nor other options that may be available.   Is there any documentation out there that explains these debug codes? They're used with the "set debug=..." command.   Thank you, Bob

Hi,   I have a UI created for OTK application. There is button which when pressed allows user to select a face which will be processed later. We use pfcSession->select() for selection. Once selection is done, user presses middle click to complete the selection.   User requirement- When selection of the face is completed, by pressing 'Ok'/middle click, I want to stop any further redundant selection. Selection should happen only when pfcSession->select() is On.   Please help.   Thanks  

I have two data sets that I can curve fit to get polynomial equations for. These are 2D data sets for temperatures of 23C nd 65C. I want to find the equation of a curve at 52C based on these two curves. I could interpolate between each value and generate a new data set piece by piece, but hopefully there is a better solution? Any help woudl be greatly appreciated. The data sets are attached in Prime 6.0   Thanks in advance!

All,      I need to display a short text field of the first Item related on an Item (similar to an FVA but on a multiple to multiple relationship).  Is is possible to us a computed field to accomplish this?  I know that the short text is easily displayed, but I have not been able to find how to navigate the relationship to display it.     A trigger will not work in my case because once the item is released, it cannot be updated, preventing the trigger from updating the value.  I also do not want the history updated because the related item was updated.   Thank you,   Paul

Hi All, As we know, to interact with PLM systems, PTC has already provided us Navigate framework which uses Integration Runtime subsystem for interaction. I need to know is there any other way possible to fetch data from Windchill PLM and use in Thingworx without using integration runtime subsystem. Or internally it is mandatory to use Integration runtime subsystem if we have to communicate with other PLM / SAP systems?
