Using the 30 day free offer trial from PTC, and after a couple weeks of using it, an upgrade to creo 7.0 2.0 was performed. Since the upgrade, I am having trouble launching the software.Thanks,Tom Schuster

I have tried to get a Creo Express Viewer - the website says I should get an email with download instructions after submitting info - but this email never arrived (not in junk email either)

Im having problem making Query parameter for QueryInfoTablePropertyHistory  service used in mashup to populate advanced grid. I made service with query output and simple filter to give me only entries with Rack_ID  1                 This service output is linked to query parameter input of QueryInfoTablePropertyHistory. But this doesnt filter my data table. Using filter widget as query input I can get needed result.   Also service that gives me infotable result directly with this filtering works as well.   But I want to make query service to do this to see results in mashup grid.   Am I missing something?

Hi   I am trying to setup an analytics server for my TWX platform, for which I am stuck on getting the UploadThing zip file to be installed on the server. Attached you will find the extracted Thingworx_Analytics_Extension files in which UploadThing.zip should also be present however it is missing. Workaround needed   Regards  

Hi, for me the popup window notification that the menu has changed on support.ptc.com is coming up on each new screen/page that I open, especially in private mode (firefox). As this is a modal dialog it required to click it to go away. This is very distracting. Please fix.

Hello, In the attached sheet: For each load value for P, i 'd like to compute von Mises stress when the load is applied at different angles provided the von Mises stress doesnt exceed the limit( 50 ksi).  it should report each load, the angles, and von Mises. if the stress goes over the limit then not to report the angles or the stress because it exceeds the limit.   Thanks, Sam

Hello. I'm currently doing some basic unbalanced 3 phase load calculation with complex numbers. I decided to use a matrix for this purpose. Any suggestions for a faster and better way to find the phasor angles WITHOUT the added +30 deg. vector angles between phase and line voltage.   Thanks!    

To all, Forgot how to do the following in mcad 15 I’d like to find the “best” possible (feasible) set of numbers (variables) to minimize an error. See attached I am sure I have seen examples about similar problem but can’t find them right now. I'll start looking at setting up the problem but I thought I'll ask in the meantime Does one have to set up a Given (Find) block with the possible equation(s)/inequation(s) or should a function be defined Thanks Regards

Is there a way to place annotations on the model, where the annotations are attributes of the top level Assembly model.   I know it is possible to do this at part level but cannot seem to add attribute annotations at assembly level.   Any ideas?

Hi Team,   I have an infotable with a single column. for example the column name is fruits. There are multiple entries in the infotable and there are duplicate entries also. I need to get the count of occurance of each value in the infotable. I know I can use distinct function to get unique records in the column. Later i can loop through the infotable comparing the unique string and increasing a count variable. But what I want is to know if there is any way to get count of "orange" in below infotable using inbuilt function.   Example infotable records : orange apple apple orange lemon     I need output like   apple 2 orange 2 lemon 1.

Sorry if this was already mentioned somewhere. I searched and didn't find it.   In ThingWorx 9, the EnterKeyPressed binding now behaves like "Focus Lost".  If you have textfield with the EnterKeyPressed action bound, that action will be fired whenever focus leaves the text field.  I opened a case with PTC when I discovered the behavior and was told it is working to specification: "this event is triggered when a user clicks an area outside the widget or presses the enter key after updating the widget value".   We're most affected with some mashups that have several text fields for optional user input.  Prior to ThingWorx 9, the user could enter something in one of the text fields and press enter to trigger the action, or tab to the next field and optionally press enter there, etc.  Now if the textfield has the EnterKeyPressed action bound, that action runs when the user presses tab to go to the next textfield.  

We have several legacy files that follow a numbering scheme but are not necessarily in order. I want to change the next document number value instead (ex instead of 00010, I want it to be 00100). All the documentation points at how to CREATE a sequence, but not change it. Does anyone know how to set the value for the sequence after the table as been created?

Hello IoT Community! I would like to build my mashups in a way, that some buttons (or other widgets) are Enabled/Disabled depending on whether the user has the permission for the underlying service (e.g the service executed when clicking that button).   For that I thought I could write an expression that checks whether the current user has permission for a specific service. Do you have any Ideas how to write a simple expression for that? As far as I know, an error is thrown when a user tries to execute a service he has no permission for. So maybe I could somehow "catch" the error in the expression?Maybe something liketry(functionToExecute()) { return true; } catch(error){ return false; }   Unfortunately I have no idea how to implement this behavior...Any advices are appreciated very much!Best Regards,Dominik

I have troubles in simplfying this equation normally in Mathcad15 it can be simplfied as following equation shown in the picture. However this doesn´t work on mathcad prime as shown on next picture.      

This is more of a post letting others know what I encountered today with my Chrome-Windchill connection, but if anyone knows what is going on that would be great to know.  It seems that Chrome recently updated their browser, mine is showing 83.0.4103.97, and I am now having issues with it.  I have cleared all the history out of Chrome and it still has the issue.  The issue has been seen across multiple computers, is that during the creation of a CN, when you go in and edit the task during that creation a blank window pops up with the spinning circle of death.  I am on Windchill 11.2.1.0.  The only error that is in any of the logs is: 2020-06-05 07:51:47,667 ERROR [ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8015-exec-1] com.ptc.windchill.enterprise.change2.tags.ChangePropagationTag <USERNAME> - action oid was null   I have opened a support call and am waiting to hear back from them.   I don't know if anyone else has seen this yet or not.
