Hello; I am writing a Jlink app for our ME team to place informational custom (aka User) symbols on Drawing2Ds. I'm using Creo 4.0.  I have a line in a Sketch that I am dragging back (selecting the line and Ctrl select the endpoint) to an endpoint of another line, hoping that it will automatically create a coincident constraint and close my sketch (At least that's what happened on the YouTube tutorial I was watching).  I'm having no luck with this.  I'm aware that I could use the CORNER command, but I would just like to know why this isn't working for me?     

Hello,   I would like to build  a card widget extension for Thingworx (version 8.5). I have the CSS and html codes, but how can I implement the functionality or preferably I would like to have some already existing widget extension  which I can customize and build a card extension. Card Widget will display value with a certain style. So can anyone suggest any thing I can work on, either on PTC or on GitHub rather than a work around to make the look.Any Custom Card Widget Extension done by anyone would be a great help as I am new to extension development A Picture of an example card is given below   ThankYou

dears,   We have recently set up a PTC Thingworx instance on an Azure VM. Since this morning we cannot access the platform anymore. in a previous post, I found we might be able to solve this by using a backup of the database (we are using an H2 database) and put it in C:\ThingworxStorage\database.  however, the backup is from 5 days ago, which means we will lose a lot of progress. is there any other way?   kind regards Rémi

Hello! I want to watch over a particular property, for example, the temperature within the timeframe. If the temperature is above some threshold for 15 min then an alert should be triggered. The value can fluctuate above the threshold, it should be monitored and if it continues above the threshold for 15 min then the new alert should get triggered.   How can I implement it in an ideal way?

Hi all I am working on a project at the moment that has two issues.The first issue in this post.I have created a turret assembly with 8 pockets, and have constraint it with axis & angular constraints.and then using parameter & relations to set the position.now this work fine with the first half of the turret up to 180 degreesthe pockets line up correct, but as soon as I pass 180 it reverts. and the wrong pockets line up.does any one know of a solution so I can rotate 360 degree.Peter

Hi,   I have a case in below snapshot is an extract of pipeline end expansion Mathcad spreadsheet calculation for determining the cold anchor point location highlighted in yellow. However for certain combination of input data, the calculated cold end anchor point location does not give the correction solution using the solver function when there are more than one intersection points at the cold end of pipeline as shown in the graph beside. Please can you help with a solution where the solver function for calculation of the cold end anchor location will output only the intersection point closest to the pipeline end.

When we check-in a new CAD file (part or assembly), we have auto-associate enabled. The user specifies the folder for the CAD file, but the WTpart file goes to a 'default' folder that is set in the OIR file.  How do we get the WTpart file to go to the same folder  as the CAD part file automatically?   Creo 4m080 Windchill 11.0 m030

Hello!   I am trying to plot the picewise function (attached). Do I need to use "if" statement here or are there any other options? I think that it should be something like this: if 0<x<0.3 then y=2, if 0.3<x<0.8 then y=-((x-0.3)/0.5)+2, if 0.8<x<1 then y=1. Would anybody, please, help me with this issue?   Best regards, Sergey

Hi Team, May i ask your advice on POST JSON script in Thingworx. I am facing a challenge to auto trigger the POST JSON script. My POST JSON script running very well when i execute it manually but it is not working with auto trigger. I have connected it's execution with one of the property data change. Even i have tried subscription- data change option and tag with the POST JSON script. But its not working. I have checked data is getting change in property. Hello,    I have cretaed a project based on an ANYSS Digital Twin work.  I have two questions:   1- I tried to douplicate the example file: Things_House_data_simulator.xml by creating my file: d by creating my file: Things_Spiral_data_simulator2.XML  which has 1 input (current) and 3 outputs (voltage, temp and angle) but I only see one data, what may be the problem? (both files attached) 2- To make this work useful to me, I will need to connect it to the data coming from the physical model (right now I can read a power supply data using python code (current (input) and Voltage (output). How can I connect the power supply data to my thingworx project? is there any materials to read or an example of similar work?   Thanks, Ahmed 

I wanna remove selected row  on infotable.  The delete query inputs the info table and query. so I made Service to bring property into the infotable. Hi,   I am facing value stream issue in Thingworx 8.5.4. Timeseries data is not logging into value stream if bind the remote thing properties to Thing properties. Hi Community,   I have an edit button in my mashup for which I want to give an icon.But after I give my media in the icon property of the button and just click on another widget in the same mashup the icon property is empty again.Even after I tried saving it directly it is empty.Also it has a symbol in the media it which doesn't general occur when i upload other icons.You can check the images I have attached to understand that.What should I do?

Hi everyone,   I´m programming a plate heat exchanger, the flow begin in single-phase and when certain conditions are met, it change to twin-phase.   I write a while loop, it works and everything is correct.   The first problem comes when I try to introduce some more line and assign a new variable name to it, it fails, I have to reuse a variable name already used inside the loop, it is not solved by declaring the variable outside the program, neither in the program but outside the loop or inside the loop. The failure it gives is the following "" Ldtoken, Ldftn and Ldvirtftn OpCodes cannot have DynamicMethod as their destination ".   The second problem appears in the result array, certain variables fail when appearing together in the result array, only if there are two or more of them, one at a time they do not fail. I have observed that the variables that fail are those found from line 17 in the loop, the previous ones do not fail, and it does not matter if I previo

Hi there,   I wonder what's the Best Practice (Efficient way) to create connecting lines/arrows in 3D space? I found this thread (https://community.ptc.com/t5/Vuforia-Studio/Adding-Arrow-Lines-in-3D/m-p/524978). But both 3D image or model is really difficult to use. Difficult to move them into right location (coordinate, angle...) Difficult to adapt to changes (rearrange labels, then rearrange lines/arrows) Time consuming to manipulate... (not scalable) Unable to change color with codes (3D images)   Is it possible to create connection lines/arrows with code? Or a widget for it? (This will be GREAT) e.g. From the bounding-box-center of 3D-Object-A to bounding-box -center of 3D-Object-B, with properties like 'distance to each end', 'color', 'radius', 'end type'.   Any reply is appreciated.
