Hi,   Can anyone help me out and point me in the direction of some information about how to use the GUI components in Toolkit?I want to create a dynamic list box (contents of the list box is different depending on what the user does).I was hoping to figure out how to create a list box when I compiled the example "pt_userguide" that is one of the "examples" that PTC has provided in the installation.However the dialog which shows a list box is just loaded from a resource file (as can be seen in UgUITables.c) and that is all it does so this isn't helping.Is there a decent description somewhere of the API's that are used to create GUI components?Any help would be very much appreciated.   Best regards,        John Bijnens

Hi! I have installed Creo Parametric Student Edition (for educational use only) on my computer. The program works correctly and there was no errors. But now I'm trying to add a new profile (I-beam) from AFX (in assembly: Framework tab -> New Profile). And again there's no problem with it - Creo gives me the profiles library, I can choose any profile from any category, next I can choose specific profile, and finally I can give dimension for the chosen profile. After these operations Creo shows me New Profile window (shown in the image below)......and when I try to click Next button, Creo shows the following error (shown in the image below).This error appears when choosing each profile. Could you tell me, please,  if this is just Creo error and it could be fixed? Or maybe this is not an error and Student Edition doesn't serve operations as above?Thank you in advance for your answers! 

Hello everyone,I'm developing a thingworx widget extension and i was trying to build a table based on an infotable returned from a certain service.When the service returns the infotable data, the datashape is not ordered as i defined on the thingworx datashape.The below image represents the datashape that i created:   And the service returns, on widget extension, this order:   I want to receive original order from datashape.Is there a way to fix this problem?   Thank youBest regards,Frederico Silva

My company uses a common part on all of our assemblies. Recently, we received new, more detailed CAD of the part from the part supplier. The new CAD maintains all of the key dimensions of the old part, however it is much more detailed.    Is there a way to update my part to the new more detailed geometry while maintaining all the original references in my assemblies? In this way I would not have to create a new part for the new CAD, and use the replace function in every assembly we have (because we have a lot).   Thanks,

Hi all,   Is there a way to save a Creo file without the model tree history?   I need to send a large assembly in Creo format to a client, but I don't want him to have access to the parametrization.   I know I can save as a step or igs and then convert to creo again, but I'm wondering if there is a more direct way to do this.   Thanks

Hello, I have the standard version of Creo3 M050 and i can't use the copy geometry and publish geometry options (it's gray) Do I have to activate them in the config.pro? If yes how? Hi , I went through the document "connection server installation and operations guide" , but still couldn't get point of this component ,  my questions are :  Connection server is supposed to be used when there're lots devices,  but why  can it  mitigate the load of Thingworx server ?  by something like aggregating the device requests then resend ?  I didn't find the information in the document  Can I implementation certain custom logic in connection server ? like transform/convert the device data ?  Does the connection server the closest component to the Thingworx server ?  If I use mulitple edge components/techniques to connect device data, including : virtual thing of Java SDK, protocal adapter  tookkit,  EMS and Kepware ,   when the connection server take part in,   should / can have all of these  edge components connected to the connection server and then the connection server's responsible for t

Hello everyone!   I try to connect to my SQL server with instance name.  So standard (and working) connection string looks like that:   jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://serverAdress/DBname;useNTLMv2=true;domain=EU   And now I try to use something like this: jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://serverAdress/DBname;instancename=myInstanceName;useNTLMv2=true;domain=EU   When I use local Database account for connection - it works. But when I try to use LDAP account for that, it doesn't work. Maybe someone did have the same  problem? Maybe I should change somehow connection string?   Thank you in advance!

Hi,  I have a remote thing bound to Kepware in Thingworx.   The data type is String in Kepware ,  it works well if I write number or english alphabet,  however ,  if write chinese character then it become garbled in Kepware , please check the attached picture .     If I set chinese character in Kepware directly,  then Thingworx can read it and display correctly.  Only write has problem.    Any idea about it ?  Thingworx 8.5.2 Kepware: KEPServerEX 6           Regards, Sean

Hello, I need some help with the timeline widget. The DataSource is a JSONData but in String format. I can't find the name of the attributes that the JSONData must have. Hello,   i have button-1  to start a sequence. Now i want to create an 3D-Label that becomes visible after click the button-1. And the 3D-Label have to be visible as long as the sequnce is played.   Is there any Js-Code to do this so? Thanks in advance.

Hi    I am using the Git Backup Extension(v3.0.1) in my ThingWorx environemnt and it is working fine with normal git repository, but when I am using the extension with a git repository where the two step verification process is enabled then I am not able to push my entities or project or anything from ThingWorx to the git repository. The project or entity is being exported properly to the ThingWorx Environment git repo but is not being pushed to the github repository. I think it is the two step verification process enabled is causing this issue as I tried disabling it and trying then it worked. Is there any way we can access the git repository where there is the two step verification process enabled?  I had obtained the extension from https://github.com/vrosu/thingworx-gitbackup-extension/releases
