Hello to all,  how can I project a datum point onto a non planar surface? I tried to use datum point command but only allows project onto plane or planar surface. If it is not possible, it there any workaround to accomplish it? BTW, I´m using Creo 4.0. Thanks.

Hello, i create two sequences and i want to play the sequences by two different buttons. I found a post there is similar to this topic, but it doesn´t work. Does anyone has a demo project, where that is shown or can explain how it works?   Thanks in advance.

I have a large model with several sequences. The user can load different sequences with buttons that call:     var myPVZ = "Illustration"; //Sequence name var consistent = "app/resources/Uploaded/" + myPVZ + "/l-Model - "; $scope.view.wdg['3D_model'].sequence = consistent + "Default" + ".pvi"; //Load sequence     The sequence then takes a couple of seconds to load and you can see different parts of the model appearing as it does. I wondered if it's possible to hide this loading with a spinner and then reveal the model at once when it has fully loaded.   For example: Set 3D_model visibility = false Start spinner Start load sequence 2 second delay Stop spinner Set 3D_model visibility = true Is this a good approach? Alternatively is there a parameter that reports when a model has loaded, rather than using a delay?

Hi, I am trying to terminate the workflow by using the below API. After terminating workflow, the process name get disappeared as shown in the attached image. WfEngineHelper.service.changeState(pro, WfTransition.TERMINATE);   Does anyone have any idea about this?

Hi I am very new to MathCad and have hit a brick wall with changing a range variable to a vector. I'm currently using Prime 6.0 in trial form.   my understanding is you define a range then define your vector based on that range e.g N:20 i:1..N a[i:i    I start the range with 1 but I always get the 0 index appear in my vector. Am I doing something wrong here? picture of my actual workings above (apologies my screen is obnoxiously wide)   It works OK if i input the vector myself   So I'm pretty sure its the range to vector technique I'm using causing me issues.Apologies if this is super easy I just cant see it right now.   Thanks for your help in advance.   Any help would be appreciated. 

What is the trick to add multiple jogs on a ordinate dimension. I can add one, whenever I try to add a second jog the second jog starts at the vertex of the first jog and not where I pick on the line. I am on Creo 4

I understand that we can use the existing "History Computation Fields - Daily or Weekly or Monthly" triggers to store the field values to history. But is there a way to store the values which we compute using custom trigger to the field history ? Example : "Requirements Count" - I can compute this metric using a trigger but is there a way to store this value to history. The use case is to create a trend chart based on the history values. Hello,   I am trying to install Creo Illustrate taking the steps suggested as in the shipment info. I downloaded the PTC Web Installation Assisstant but it gets stuck when installing the license server (see screenshot). The license file includes SERVER and DAEMON as in the following (I replaced the real HOSTID through **, the HOSTID in the license file is correct):   SERVER __HOSTNAME__ PTC_HOSTID=**-**-**-**-** ****DAEMON ptc_d __PTCD_PATH__   Do you have any idea what I can do to solve this?

Hello. I'm trying to implement a dashboard in Vuforia Studio which contains several 3D labels which are connected to real-time information through Thingworx Composer. I'm interested in applying State Formatting to the 3D labels. My use case is this: I have a value that represents the production quantity, and a boolean property which indicates whether the production is on target or not. I'm interested in binding the value to the 3D label and apply state formatting through another property (the boolean value). This can be perfectly done in Thingworx's Mashups.   In Vuforia Studio, however, if I enable State Based Formatting for a label, I have a Dependent Field, and I can choose which State Definition to apply to it. If I leave the Dependent Field value as default ("text"), then it compares the actual text-value of the 3D label to the values that are inside the State Definition, and then applies the corresponding colour. This is not what I need, because I need to apply State Formatt

I can create an idea for this if it isn't already possible. I don't do a lot of cabling so maybe it is.   Is it possible to do an analysis to figure out where in your harness your bend radii are the tightest? I tried changing my bend radii and the cable fails but there is no way for me to easily see where in the cable it is failing.   Ideally there would be a color plot showing the cable curve and color varying with the tightness of the bend.

It appears after having set up the config file for the parameter dialog it does not sort the name column descending.  The XML does contain the lines: <sortby>      <column name="name" order="Descend"/></sortby> The other settings function as expected.  Something missing?  Expectations too high?

Hello, I have a question about mapkeys. Is there any possibility to see what exactly does a mapkey do? I work with mapkeys, which have been created by either CAD engineers or former collegues and I would like to understand exact procedure of the mapkeys (in general). The simplier ones can be understood from the config file but not the more complicated ones. I hope I made the question understandable, thanks for any answer.

Hello! I've started working very recently with Thingworx and I'm trying to understand how permissions work. I have a mashup and 2 types of User groups: Group A developers, Group B clients. I gave Runtime permission to both user groups on the mashup but when I log in with a user from either group I can't see anything from the mashup, not a single widget, is blank... Any tips?
