Hi guys,   I am read all the community posts about the container refresh. I applied the settings as recommended by this post but the contained mashup still does not refresh.   I have two drop down lists.  One indicates the mashup to load the other the entity data to pass to that mashup.  The contained mashup only refreshes when the mashup to load is changed not when the entity data is changed.   I am also passing a start and end date to the mashup.   The selectedrows changed and the update event on the dropdown and time selected are bound to the refresh of the contained mashup but neither one when changed executes a refresh.If anyone has advice please let me know.

Hello everybody, With Creo Parametric I have a config that through search path allows me to search for components in another folder (libraries) I put myself in the workbook, which inevitably contains about 1000 codes. The problem is that when the CAD does not find a model because it is in libraries, it takes an eternity to understand it before moving on to the library folder. It seems because there are so many files It's normal?? Do you want us to be the only ones working with folders with many codes and the search path?

I need guidance to pass the appropriate orientation to the CombState using OTK Java (for Creo 5)   I am importing, manipulating, and saving files from our CoCreate software to Creo Parametric. The final step of manipulating these files is to change the listed Views to Combined States. I was originally attempting to retrieve the desired view before creating a combined state, but that obviously did not work.   When creating a combined state manually, holding my mouse over the state name displays the Orient field:  "Orient: Original_View_Front". However, when creating it in java, it appears as: "Orient: Most Recently Used".   I create the CombState by using the three ModelItems 'DEFAULT REP', 'DEFAULT STYLE', and 'DEFAULT EXPLODED' (just because they were the ones selected when I created a state manually).   What is the best method to pass the orientation data through to a combined state?

We need help setting up our student robotics team with Windchill.  We use Creo Parametric for a student robotics team. Using Creo 4.0 (no Windchill)   I find that if I have the drawings open for (4) parts: A.drw, B.drw, C.drw, & D.drw and that these for parts are contained as instances in a family table of Generic - ABCD.prt, that when I verify the family table (and I get "Success" on all for instances A, B, C, & D) that when I go to any of the drawings, I need to regenerate the drawing to get rid of the little yellow dot.   If I just verified the family table, why is the model in the drawing wanting to be regenerated? I am not doing this in the proper order in order? Sometime I regenerate the instance and save the drawing is says that the other instances have not been regenerated.

Customer wants to create an external application in Java and use this application to create things and access thingworx data model,Please, any Java SDK sample program we can leverage as example for that?

In case using an external application, is it possible to access data model metadata directly (without calling Thingworx services) and also persisted data (postgres or influxdb)?TksChris

Hello,   I am currently trying to run a static simulation inside Creo Simulate, but it fails to run with no indication as to why (See image). I am unsure about how to go about debugging the simulation (i.e. locations and names of error files). Any assistance would be welcomed. PS I am normally an ANSYS user.

Hello, we are trying to add a custom servlet to the Windchill tomcat but we are not able to do it. So, far we added a custom servlet that can be accessed through Windchill like. http://<servername>/Windchill/servlet/myservlet/mybean But this is not we are trying to do we would like to access the servlet like http://<servername>/myservlet/mybean. We did everything like on the regular tomcat (edit web.xml, deployed servlet under webapps) but still the servlet was not found. Does any body has idea how to do it or can point us to the right direction?   Thanks, best regards!

I have an infotable bound to an Advanced Grid widget (using v4.2.1 from the marketplace) and I see that the column sorting is not readily available as it is with the standard Grid widget.   I checked the documentation, and it only specifies how to sort columns when you have Data Table as a source, but I'm interested in using infotables. Can anyone go into detail on how sorting should be done? Thank you!
