Is there a limitation to the visible tool tip mashup height/width?   I have my tooltip mashup set to the following dimensions but I can only see a width of about 500px at a time.   width: 1300 height: 350   I don't want the user to get the scroll bar to scroll in the tool tip mashup.

I’m using a Windows 2019 Server, I have installed Java 1.8.0_231, I have tomcat installed, and I have created the keystore.   Running through the installer, when it gets towards the end, I then get the error below about failure to configure keystore.   Error: "A problem occurred during installation that may cause an unsuccessful installation. Failed to configure installation keystore."

Hello. I am trying to export four things from a project that are the only ones that have a certain tag. I tried exporting as XML or binary but I always get the same error. If I export things individually I have no error, but they are more than 70!!! I had no problems exporting other entities, only with things does that happen. I am using Thingworx 8.4. I am sending the export form and the browser error. Thanks.   

Is it possible to get the button-ID (and related properties) who started a service from a mashup ?   what I would make easier is this: I have a service who makes a data-preview, or a data-import . This service is called from a mashup button. A boolean variable can be set as service parameter to switch between the two functions.   I would have instead 2 buttons on the mashup, one that makes preview, another that makes import. Is it possible to get button ID from inside the service ? If so, I can switch from preview and import without need to deal with a BOOL to set/reset from the mashup   I know I could do by duplicating the service .. and use one button for each one ... but make mashup mode complex ..

Hii I have  a Thing property as Punch_In_Status and created a property as Test when a person Punch in the biometric scanner the property displays as PRESENT , If not is displays as ABSENT My need is that , In mashup when  the property Punch_In_Status displays as PRESENT ,then the Test property should be in GREEN colour , if ABSENT it should display as RED colour

Is there a code snippet to download a file from a repository? I'm looking to download a file from within a service. I want to avoid having to use a widget (e.g. link or data export), and wondered if there was any way to kick off a download from within a script. I realise I can use the GetFileListingsWithLinks to get the url, but how can I then activate that url from within a service.   What I actually want to happen is: on the click of a button I want to run a service that creates a file, writes some data (based on some user defined parameters), saves it, then automatically begin the download. Ideally after the download I would like to delete the file.   TIA K

Is there a way to convert a static mashup to a responsive mashup (advanced)? It would be nice if this is possible since I don't want to start all over and bind the services to the widgets and also set up all the validators.

Hi All,   When I follow the document https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/create-authentication-extension   And then try to login using the TestSite.html, I get the following error in the security log.    Debug Filter set to SAMEORIGIN - sending same origin   I suspect there is some web.xml setting that I am missing.   After the authentication request, I am redirected to /Thingworx/ActionLogin/CustomLogin with 404 error.     Regards, Manas

now I using thingworx manufacturing apps 8.4. I want to set SSL certificate. when I configure SSL configuration following https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS193947 part B code cannot find, which is  <!-- <Connector port="8443" protocol="HTTP/1.1" SSLEnabled="true" maxThreads="150" scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false" sslProtocol="TLS" /> --> below is my default server.xml content.  and also have my file location.   Could someone help me to figure it out? 

Industrial Connectivity client not connecting to KUKA OPC UA Server    Versions :            Windows 10x64           Industrial Connectivity 8.4.66            robot KUKA KR900 with OPC UA protocol   I am connecting the robot KUKA KR900 with ThingWorx Industrial Connectivity via OPC UA protocol.I went through all the possible connection options, but in any case I get the message "End point not supported server".The "UaExpert" client downloaded from the OPC foundation resource connects to the server without problems.Connection settings of "UaExpert" and IC in the attachment.Client authentication is carried out by entering a username and password.The KUKA.OPC_UA_Server certificate is located in the Trusted Server section.   Thank you, Peter.  

Hello,   I'm using Thingworx 8.5 and Thingworx Industrial Connectivity 8.5.67 I'm creating an asset using my gateway discover option, and I'm choosing the PTC.ISA95.PhysicalAssetThingTemplate as template. After the creation, I can see that the connection is made and the values are updating correctly.   Now, I'm trying to import\configure this asset\thing in the Configuration and Setup app (of the Manufacturing Apps to see it in the Asset Advisor App), but I don't succeed. Is there any guide for how to configure this or someone has an idea how to make it?   The point is, I need to create a service or find a way to gets the discovered devices from Kepware and configure them dynamically that I can see them in the Asset Advisor App.Many thanks, Tal.

Hi - I can successfully change the thingworx logo in the header mashup of Thingworx Manufacturing Apps.   How did I change the app title? So for example if I bring up Asset Advisor it shows that as text in the header mashup. Is it possiblle to add or change this? I have added my own mashup and want to give it a title when the header mashup opens.

Is there a way to blank a component in a detail view? I'm fairly new to Creo (using Creo 4) but I've searched and searched only to find this question posed several times between 2004 & 2017 with the typical solution to use a work around such as creating a second detail view that is then set to be a general view so you can utilize the blank command in the component display function and faking the view call out with a note while placing the actual detail view off the page someplace to be forgotten.Please tell me that within the last 15 years of people asking for a solution PTC have solved this and I'm just to new to see how to do it.    Thanks

Hello,   Creo 2.0   I have created a mirror of a part. Because the parent part has the P/N engraved, I add a family table to the parent with a lone instance with _MIR suffix and with the P/N feature suppressed.  I use the _MIR instance to create my mirrored part.   The problem is that the mirrored part will not regenerate with changes to the parent unless the _MIR instance is opened directly.  If I make changes to the parent generic and open the mirrored part and regenerate, the changes are not reflected (see what I did there 😁) in the mirrored part.  I have to open the _MIR instance.   Is there a way to have the mirrored part automatically open the _MIR instance to check for changes?  I'm afraid that changes aren't going to get propagated to the mirrored part.
