Hi all, I am trying to modify the XY chart widget but I cannot modify the TW.ChartLibrary package as I do not have access to it. I have created a new XY chart extension based on the existing one (see attached zip file) and I want to know whether it is possible for me to integrate the APIs of highchart.js, d3.js or chart.js into my JavaScript code so that I can modify the extension correctly without touching the TW.ChartLibrary package. If integration is possible, how can I do so? 

In the attached image of a mathcad prime 3.1 worksheet I'm attempting to call the function in a solve block and from another function. I receive the error: "This is not a valid constraint, Use, for example, the equal to operator."   Am I making a syntax error that I'm not aware of?

Hi, I was trying to stack all the x coordinates together and all y coordinates together. I see an additional value (0,0) in the result w and v. Can you please tell me why is the additional rows generated and how to eliminate it. And i am using mathcad 15 Thank You.

Hi All   I am having an issue connecting to the Azure IoT Hub from ThingWorx 8.4. - The Connector and Thingworx are on the same server - The attached azure-iot.conf file was configured using direction from PTC Using this link    When run the azure-iot.bat file from cmd i get the following error. I've tried (as admin) changing permissions on ExportImportSubsytem, CollectionFunctions and ExportFile.  None of these enables the "From File" or "To File" options in the Import/Export menu: they're still greyed out for the (non-admin) user.Also, if I ever manage to allow the non-admin user to export entities, can I assume that they will only be able to export entities that they already have permission to see?

Hi there,   it happens occasionally, that context menus (right - click dialogues) do not work any more. The video shows that scenario when editing transitions. Strangely, the menu suddenly disappears only on entries below "Pick from List".   The video shows this bug with Creo 2.0 M060, but it happens from time to time also in later versions. Updating drivers (Nvidia) seems to have no influence on that issue.   System:Quadro 4000; Win7 64bit   Does someone spotted the same or similar graphics problem?

Hi,   We have installed Vuforia ES and Thingworx server on-premises. Also i have installed vuforia studio and validated Vuforia ES which seems validated ok. But don't know how to create content and publish to vuforia ES in vuforia studio (need to check connectivity is proper or not).   When i tried to create new project it asks for project name and experiense service URL: I have provided experience service URL as http://<vuforia ES server IP>:2019/ but after that it goes to continueous in page loading mode.   so please can some one guide. how to create content and publish in Vuforia ES server.   - Prashant Pandarkar

Hey ptc community,   for some testing I need to simulate some data. I was told that I can use the Keepserver for this. I found the options but I don´t know how I can connect the Keepserver to my local Thingworx and start to simulate data there. Hi Developers,   I'm working on a TWX architecture for a use case as shown below.     There are manufacturing plants across different geographical locations. In each plant there are multiple machines and each machine has its own FTP server, where after 10000 recordings are collected from the machine, a csv file with these recordings are generated in the local FTP server. There is only read access to these FTP servers and no static ip is provided.   The objective is to provide a cloud based architecture for data visualization of the csv file data.    I need help on the following to get me started on the initial architecture:   Since static ip can't be given for individual FTP servers, what is the best possible architecture for the use case. With one TWX cloud instance will it be possible to collect data from the FTP servers across different locations or do we need a separate TWX instance for each location.   Any help will be much appreciated. &

Hi all! Is it just me or do you experience the same bug. I am using the current Mathcad 15 M050 and have just noticed that filterNaN and matchNaN do not work anymore! The error message is something about "The type initializer for Efi.Data caused an exception". I am pretty sure that I had used filterNaN with this version of Mathcad without any problems. Can it have something to do with the fact that I recently installed Prime 6? Or is one of the recent Win10 updates the cause? Here in the forum I just found this https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/New-bugs-in-Mathcad-15-M020/m-p/380775 where somebody reported that the error occurred immediately after the installation of Mathcad.    

Hello all.  We now have a training server (rehosted from production) and would like to fully use emails on it.  Emails cannot currently be distinguished as different from those from production.  We've set a different value for property: wt.mail.from but it doesn't get included in the email.   It would that this would be a very common thing.  Thoughts? thanks

I've discovered what seems to be an iOS-specific bug. Here's the scenario:   I have a 3DImage (a warning icon) that needs to flash in the experience. I accomplish this using a $timeout that toggles the "visible" property on the widget, something like this:   $scope.blinkStatus = true; $scope.blink = function() { $scope.blinkStatus = !$scope.blinkStatus; $scope.setWidgetProp("3DImage-1","visible", $scope.blinkStatus); $timeout($scope.blink, 500); }   This works just as it should on the preview and on Android. But on iOS, if you let the blinking continue for any length of time (about a minute or so), it crashes Vuforia View completely.   It only seems to happen with 3DImage widgets. I'm able to flash a normal 2D image widget in the same way without the app crashing.   Is this a known issue? I'm going to investigate workarounds, maybe using opacity. In the meantime, I'll attach a simple project file that demonstrates the problem.

I don't know how many are aware of this, so I'm posting some important information.   Starting January 1st next year (2018) PTC will make it's products available by subscription only. https://www.ptc.com/en/news/2017/ptc-accelerates-subscription-business-model Basically, legal ransomware. If you don't keep paying them, you will be denied access to your own IP.   My understanding is that this new scheme will apply to all PTC products, other than one obscure product, so that includes Mathcad. I believe that existing perpetual licenses will continue to be perpetual (hard to see how it could be anything else, since that's how they were sold), but going foward you will either have to pay every year, or lose access to your own work.

I am working on a project, where the client wants to integrate their production server with their corporate LDAP server. And they have some 2000 users. They want to dis-connect the users before the LDAP integration. After integrating, they are going to re-connect the users from windchill DB to the corporate LDAP.Can someone explain why this is being done and please give me insight in this...Also will it be easy to re-connect 2000 disconnected users?

Hello Using CREO4 in 3D model, using Annotate I create the Annotation feature to define the dimensions. Is it possible to change the position of text for all dims (parallel and above) using any config option ? see the dim "49" in the the pic !                   Thanks Pierluigi  

I'd like to make good use of CreoView using PVZ & EDZ files but I must be missing some setup information. When I first open a pvz in CreoView all the geometry is turned off.  I have to select a checkbox in the model tree to view it.  I'd like the model to be visible by default.  Is there a setting for that?    Also... I'd like to be able to use "Combined States" in order to establish defined views.  I discovered that there is a "Recipe File" (export_pvs.rcp) that requires "adapter/outputAuthorState=" be set to 1, otherwise it does not show Combined States at all. But when I do that the geometry is not visible.  The Tree is populated but I can not view any of the parts...   What am I missing? Thanks   

Hello!    I've got a bit of an unusual problem which probably has a very simple fix to it. I've successfully established a POST request from a React platform onto a ThingWorx service I was trying to run. Said POST request returns all the data I wanted without any problems, however the timestamp coming with that data is unusable... Here is the service being run in ThingWorx:    // result: INFOTABLE dataShape: ""var result = me.QueryPropertyHistory({oldestFirst: undefined /* BOOLEAN */,maxItems: undefined /* NUMBER */,endDate: EndDate /* DATETIME */,query: undefined /* QUERY */,startDate: StartDate /* DATETIME */});result = result.ToJSON();   StartDate and EndDate are not required to make the POST call and have a default value of "". I'm creating a custom Widget extension that basically just wraps a Javascript library, and it works like this:   1. Create a <canvas> element with a certain ID/class/whatever 2. Attach the library to that <canvas> element 3. Do stuff after that   I'm currently creating the <canvas> element like so: this.renderHtml = function() { return ( '<div class="widget-content"><canvas id="' + this.getProperty("Id") + '"></canvas></div>' ); } However, this doesn't work when the Widget is in a Collection Item, since all the mashups within the collection have the exact same ID for the widgets within. The result is that none but the first widget actually display or function.   How do I go about making it so my widget can be used within a Collection widget, is there some way to get an ID that is unique to the collection item?
