In Vuforia Studio, I want to track a real 3D object 'only once' when a model target is set, to have a static transform for the 3D target model within the application. I do not want the application to update a 3D model's position or scale with time if a corresponding, real object is moved.  We have tried disabling the camera but the entire application looks to be frozen like that. Is there any way to achieve the same? Thanks in

Hello!  I'm running a very simple QueryPropertyHistory Service to obtain the logged values that are defined on the very Thing on which the service is defined. So normally something like this should work?    // result: INFOTABLE dataShape: ""var result = me.QueryPropertyHistory({oldestFirst: undefined /* BOOLEAN */,maxItems: undefined /* NUMBER */,endDate: undefined /* DATETIME */,query: undefined /* QUERY */,startDate: undefined /* DATETIME */});   I set up my service to run on Mashup load just to test it out and I get this error (in the console log):   Error executing service. Message ::null - See Script Error Log for more details   There are no additional details provided in the Error Log, it's actually completely blank. Does anyone know how to properly query all the properties present on the same Thing as the service it is being ran on?    Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers! 🙂

Hi   I have created a new format file (newfrm.frm) and saved it on local disk.   Created  a new part and drawing of the new part. Drawing was created using reference of format file. Saved drawing and part into same folder that of format file.   So, now I have three files in  a folder that is .prt,.drw and .frm. Opening drawing from these would have .frm in session also. this behavior is known to me as well.   Now I copied .drw and .prt (not .frm) onto some other location on system. Opening of .drw from this location is not loading .frm file into session. Creating backup of this .drw is not saving .frm file also. But when I lookinto .drw file , content of .frm is present. My concern is how this reference is available in .drw file?

I think a lot of people, myself included need a BOM table which will display user defined balloon numbers. I don't want the index numbers in the balloons. Ideally, I need a table that I can have the BOM plus a column in which I can define the balloon number required. This would save a lot of time from having to manually create balloon notes with my desired number. Thx

Hi, there where two post about this topic, but I’d like bring it up again. See: 1st post and 2nd post Is there any possibility to access the camera, take a picture and send it to thingworx. This could be handy in multiple situations. Troubleshooting: Make a photo of faulty parts to let it be analyzed in a later stage. Documentation: Make photos of all steps performed to keep in mind, what was done.   I know that expert capture can cover up some of the points, but the use cases are different, though.   Kind regards, whity

Hi   I have created a part file called as A.prt.1 and same is used into A.asm.1. Now I shared the part to some other person who modified it to A.prt.2. If I keep all three files that is A.asm.1 , A.prt.1 and A.prt.2, opening of A.asm.1 results into opening of A.prt.2. Is there a way to open A.prt.1 into A.asm.1 as A.prt.1 was used while creating assembly.   I know keeping latest version into same folder is resulting in desired behavior. But is there some option which forces creo to load part version which was used while creating assembly?   Any idea would be of great help.   Thanks and Regards Ketan

Hi, I am trying to replicate an example I was given of plotting a bessel filter response. The example was completed with MathCad2.0 whilst I am using MathCad6 (if that matters). Everytime I try to plot the function I get an error saying "Plotting failed.Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers". Can you please advise what I am doing wrong, I thought by taking the absolute value of the function I wouldn't have any imaginary component? I've attached the example and my worksheet for reference of the work.

I have been tasked with creating a new start_part in CREO4 to take advantage of the Annotate/Combined State Items.  I have created a copyright text note on the MBD1_Site_Map item that I want to show up in the same place on all of the Combined State Item Tabs that will be created.  I have pulled CAD examples from the web where this has been done but I can't figure out how they did it. Is it possible to show the external .jsp pages in Thingworx Mashup or can we use the .jsp tags/whole jsp code in Thingworx Composer JavaScript services?

I have created a thing with base template as "DataMicroserver". I have created some services which using services defined in "DataMicroserver" template. The thing which I had created is showing as "Disconnected" in thingworx. Also I had check the value of "isConnected" property is also showing as "False". When I am running service using postman, getting response as "Thing is not connected"    Please let me know if you have any idea about this.  

we had a thingworx instance where a project been developed. that instance is not starting showing errors. error log file of thingworx application log as well as tomcat catline logs are attached with this post. please can we import all our project, and data from thingworx instance which is not running to another thingworx instance manually. 

Hi, How can I assign the formatted date to Date time picker? because it converts the date to string format and doesn't allow me to bind to the date time picker. There are few alerts in the alert summary stream which are triggered by some thing in thingworx ,but when i try to acknowledge those alerts either through the mashup provided by thingworx or through a service provided by thingworx i get a success message as the alert has been acknowledged but the alert still remains in the alert summary stream and shows under unacknowledged tab any idea what might be wrong?.urgent help is required.
