We have a couple Ultimaker 3D printers here, and I've recently sent files over to be printed.  When I got them back, the scaling was so far off between the parts nothing was the correct size.  The scaling was off by over 30% and wasn't even consistent!  Come to find out the guy said the STL files came in tiny (as if my 1.3" came in a 1.3mm, but he didn't confirm that), and he applied a scale factor to what he assumed (we know what THAT means) I wanted.  So, the next time around when I sent STL files I also sent STEP files and a dwg so he knew exactly how big the part should be.  I wasn't sure why, but maybe he couldn't use the STEP file to get the size, and had to rely on the dwg.  I've NEVER had this issue before in over 30 years of making STL files for 3D printing.   So, I have an e-mail in to Ultimaker to see if it simply isn't a setting that the guy needs to change (i.e. units set to inches instead of mm etc.) because we design in inches here for

Hello, I'm a newbie in thingworx analytics but I come from data analytics. Actually, the learner is not new for me but when I configure the predictive model, I saw that I can add more leaners. So, that means the analytics module shall try to use these methods to learning the data and choose the best fit (highest ROC, RMSE, etc.) method ??? If not, what does the module do exactly ????  

Hi everyone,   I am working on a project where I have 10 entities with the same (about 30) properties, and I would like to use Thing Template for the development. All these entities need to be remote things connected through an Industrial Gateway object. I would really like to avoid manually using the "Manage Binding" for 10 things of 30 properties each, which could potentially change in the future.   The only thing to modify in each entity would be the numbering in the Source field for all the properties (i.e. Temp01 in Thing01, Temp02 in Thing02,... etc): is there any way I can make that number into a parameter I can simply set for each of the things created off the initial template?

VIVO V5 plus) mid-range phone in early 2017I think all is work well with Vuforia Studio. Buti got the trial-phone that is SAMSUNG Galaxy note8. Its top-range phone in late 2017This phone is my company tool for test new app or anything company want.Different thing is performance resultMy VIVO make me feel better. - It can keep tracking mark in more far range. - less model shaking feeling.   I ever try with many my friend phone like Iphone8, Huawei P10, P20I think the different thing is auto-focus system in top-range phone make mark tracking go bad.I have some demo job with my customer, which is using the different phone (and more expensive than me).When my customer seen the shaking model, its funny.any suggestion to stop this issue?  

Hi,I am currently trying to add a function to my AR experience, which relates to a tutorial of how to fix a fault.I have successfully used a button to trigger a function, which will detect the external data whether stays within the acceptable range or not. If it's not, then some warning messages will be generated.Could I remove the button and the system will detect the external data in real-time?For example, if the data does not fall within that range, those warning messages will be shown automatically.

Can someone point me in the direction of the config option that controls when we "assemble" a component into the assembly if it is attached to the cursor or not.  We have 3 users, that the part is attached to the cursor and places where they click and we are troubleshooting an issue with this.   Thanks, Erik

Following the steps in this guide I was able to get the installer to run, but it's failing.  Error message is not of much help.  Following some forum recommendations I uninstalled and reinstalled the OS.  i.e. new VM.  Running Ubuntu 18.04 on an Azure F4 VM. Hello,   i have another question. Is there a possibility to group single objects to one module? For example i want to move a door in my 3D-model. The .STP Import created many single objects. Now i have to mark five single objects to move the door. I want to group the five marked objects and name them "Door".      I want to group the blue marked objects in the picture. I have built one textbox, button and grid and binded with PTC-Windchill-Demo-Thing and service is Executesavedsearch and Listsavedsearches. I create a connector which is duplicate of Windchill-integration-connector. I am Navigate View 1.8 with fixed authentication. When i search part number in textbox which i build in mashup, It is not fetching data from windchill. I don't know whether i have connector to correct service or not ! I followed Advance Customization article in Help center to built the mashup. Help me if anyboby knows this issue.

Hello,   We have an on-premise experience server to store AR Projects published from Vuforia Studio. Through this community I learned that projects can be accessed via the file explorer as a sort of "back-door" method. This is helpful for a number of reasons. I ended up with a lot of projects, and in order to clean things up I transferred most of them to another folder to access later. I changed the folder names of some of them.   This is the problem -- I cannot delete them from the ES (experience server) anymore. Even when I remote-access the ES, find the project files, and delete them, they still show up in the library's list of options on the iPhone and HoloLens. There must be some hidden .json file on the ES that keeps a list of published AR projects. I need to access this and manually remove some entries. Has anyone tried this? Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi all,  I am trying to display data using an XY chart from an infotable on Thingworx. I am aware that I can just use the existing XY chart widget in Thingworx but it does not meet the requirements which I need for a task. Therefore, I have decided to use d3.js to fulfill my requirements. The image shown below is what I have coded using d3.js and imported to Thingworx. However, the data values are hard-coded and that is not what I want. I want the values of XAxis and ASensor to be displayed on my XY chart but I am unable to do so despite binding the infotable with my data. I have attached the relevant files for reference. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

How can we create our own dashboards, mashups for showing data using the already existing services of ThingWorx Analytics and Creo Product Insight for ThingWorx extension. Hi, How to reset to original size of the grid columns after increasing or decreasing the width of the grid in runtime by adjusting their columns? I have installed thingworx foundation downloadable trial version one machine and thingworx industrial connectivity on another machine.   I am following below guide while establishing connection between thingworx foundation and thingworx industrial connectivity https://developer.thingworx.com/en/resources/guides/thingworx-industrial-connectivity-guide   This guide assumes that you are utilizing the hosted Foundation server in combination with the downloadable Industrial Connectivity. It also mention that some instruction requires modification in case of "downloadable Foundation trial". In my case the above mentioned guide does not work. I am not sure what are the steps which required modification in case of hosted foundation server. Please let me know if any one had tried the same for hosted Foundation server.
