How to use top and skip parameters in Thingworx?    My service is returning only 25 results in one round. I want to fetch all records at a time ? Looks like the value we are providing in Top and skip is incorrect.

Hello everyone. I have completed the Raspberry Pi Quickstart.  I want to read the data from a vibration sensor connected to the raspberry through using the EMS and display that data on Thingworx .  My Python file is running fine. When I run ./wsems and ./luaScriptResource everything connects fine. Hello, I recently upgraded an old Thingworx server from 7.4 to 8.1, and it is opening in limited mode when I believe I have a valid license. The App log says:   "No new License capabilities from license server".   and   " Unable to fetch license file with device id xxxxxxxx"   I did a disconnected license retrieval and have double checked my permissions/naming yet the license_capability_response.bin is getting ignored. Is there a way for you to check if my company is out of licenses? I'm a little unclear on how the licensing subsystem works. Any help you can provide would be great. Thank youConnor

I have a repeating problem in the new release of Mathcad 15, namely the M050 release.   I frequently use reference sheets.  If I make a change in the reference sheet from the main sheet, close the reference sheet by saving it, it does indeed change the reference sheet in its location.  However, the main code frequently does not recognize the change.  If I simply close the main code and reopen it runs correctly with the change I made before closing. I frequently experience a similar problem when just making any variable or formula change to a sheet and rerunning the sheet.  It doesn't recognize the change.  Again, if I close the sheet and reopen, it runs correctly.  Also, if I make the changes at another location in the sheet and paste it into the place where I wanted the change, the sheet runs correctly. Hi. Currently I'm trying to call a function from an external JS-lib. (tooltip.js) I managed to load the JS-File via  twx.app.fn.loadResourceScript('Uploaded/tooltip.js'); as mentioned here https://community.ptc.com/t5/Vuforia-Studio/Including-js-file-from-resources/m-p/556781#M3480   But unfortunately I'm getting an  ReferenceError: Tooltip is not defined. I have used a Creo View model to prepare workshop instructions for assembly. Now that the original Creo model has been updated to next version (New parts added), how do I update my Creo view model? Is there any way to update existing view model OR I have no choice but to again create a full new Creo view assembly?Thanks in advance for your answers

Good afternoon, Is there any widget that allows me to navigate between tabs without using Tabs Bar?   Let's visualize this with an example:   In my Tabs Bar I have 3 tabs: plant layout, welding stage and coating stage. I can switch between tabs using the tabs bar but I would also like to be able to click in the different parts of the layout and navigate to the specific manufacturing stage.   As you can see, I am searching for a widget similar to the Navigation Button but for tabs, not for mashups.   Thank you very much, Rodrigo.

Hi Developers,   I'm working on ThingWorx 8.0.1 with Navigate View 1.5.0. I was able to perform basic REST Operations such as fetching a NONCE Token from a Service, Creating a part,....   I had to use the URI's that were exposed from windchill for these services. I'm a novice in REST services if there is any document or tutorials which give step by step procedure to create RESTful web services in Windchill side and use the same in Thingworx it would be helpful.   Thanks and Regards, Saran

Good day   Any advice on the following use case would be appreciated. I'm designing 2 non round variable pitch cams. Most of the calculations I've done in Excel but have gotten stuck on finding the angle of rotation of the second cam so that a vector of the cam passes through a point. I can do a Matrix translation and rotation on the vector but need to find that angle. There is a measured geometrical solution in CAD that works, but it takes very long to make changes so would like another solution.   Hi, can i please know the method for this condition. 1st row value of ADC matrix should compare with ADC_LUT matrix and take the next higher and lower value. for eg-if 3996 from ADC matrix is compared with ADC_LUT matrix , it should take out 3997 & 3968 value from ADC_LUT matrix. similarly for other value to.   Regards, Kishore

The ThingWorx persistence provider may be a SQL database, but it is most certainly not a good idea to try and access the time series data with a DB tool to run analytics on it.   What would be the best mechanism to make data available for external analytics tools to analyse data acquired by ThingWorx?

I believe this question has already been asked on here, but I still cannot find a solution for it despite trying the solutions provided so I'm asking this again. I have imported the timeSeriesChartV2 extension from the PTC marketplace and attached below is the default time series chart and the time series chart v2 extension.   The default time series chart is showing the data correctly whereas the time series chart v2 isn't despite both of their data being binded the same way. I have set the X-AxisField to timestamp and DataField1 to TimeSeriesProperty which is a number under the property of my Thing. Any idea why the timeSeriesChartV2 is not displaying anything?

Hi everyone. Today I faced a very weird issue in Mathcad.  When I define any variable with unit "m" my mathcad is multiplying by 3/m by itself. I was using my mathcad files  without any issue but yesterday I updated my windows from 7 to 10  and since then this crazy issue is appearing.  I mean when I write A:=3m. then when I type A=, it shows A=9. Or when I define a variable as B:= 3 kNm, then it reverts it back automatically  to B=9kN Does anyone knows what is the reason of this issue?  

I am iterating through images on a 3D image widget. With each step in a .pvz sequence I change an image accordingly. I noticed that capitalization of file extension can cause issues. In the Studio preview, it is fine, but after you export to an IOS device, anything image file that ends in .JPG instead of .jpg doesn't show up.   I think this is a glitch, since they should be treated the same -- but at least now I know what to avoid when generating images for my app.

  We have just installed Arbortext Editor v7, our first installation.  When we try and  open a 1.8 DM, we get a "dtd did not compile message", with the following explaination.  Dtgen.exe Parser Error: While parsing file C:\Users\martin.eggleston2\Desktop\AECMA1-8\dm\DOCTYPES\descript.dtd: Cannot find file called C:\Program Files\PTC\Arbortext Editor/markit/ispudir. Is it in the currently active directory (err:1 line:18  pos:1064) Compile failed - rc=32  Can anyone help?  Please realise that we are NOT expert users…

I read some posts on this topic, but I still haven't figured out how to do this. I have created a Creosoting Illustrate file with multiple sequences and published this into a .pvz file. I have tried to change name to .zip without any luck. I am not sure how to proceed to create .pvi files? any help here?    thank you
