Hello,   getting a Property Value from Thingworx to Vuforia Studio using JavaScript is working fine with:    $scope.app.mdl['Thingname'].properties['Propertiename']   BUT: Is it possibility to get any more information from one property like e.g. the “Description” or “Unit”?   Greetings Raphael

All,   I have a situation where we had two drawings releases, A & B. The changes were done concurrently. However, someone asked if another change can be added to A. Well, I pulled A up "as stored". No problem. Can get a print and make someone happy. However...ideally that version should be slipped into the iteration history - if anyone really cared - and they may not. As long as I have the print of the change, I can turn a blind eye. But I was wondering if it would be possible to slip that the A+ version after A and before B? This may involve some parts and assemblies? I have some tricky things I may be able to get away with. Hi I have creo 5.0 student edition installed for university, I am trying to use afx profiles but every time I try to load the profile file a notification appears that says that the file was created on a commercial version and is incompatible with the student version I am running. Is there a way to use afx on the student version I have?Thanks for any info

I was wondering if there is a feature in Creo Parametric 5 that will let a user to take a component (extruded in the center to remove excess cavities), shown in image 1, and merge them to replicate the one shown in image 2. I modified a longer rail system and would like to just remove the material so that I don't have to recreate all the features in the smaller piece.

I'm attempting to assemble an electrical box. I've got the enclosure, a 2-part bullet hinge, and the door. I currently have the bottom half of the bullet hinge fixed to the enclosure, and the upper half setup with a pin constraint so that it can rotate. I attempting to connect the door panel to the upper hinge half, but as soon as I did this, neither the hinge nor the door panel could rotate on the lower hinge. Is it possible to constrain the door panel such that it will move with the upper portion of the hinge when I use "Drag Components"?

I am looking for a hint (best practices) on how to reload a contained mashup efficiently.    Here's the scenario :   1. There's  a main mashup with a contained mashup and footer with collection widget (holding some 4-5 icons) 2. Based on the icon selection on collection widget, the contained mashup switches 3. One of the contained mashup has a grid with a header Edit button 4. Based on the row selection, a user clicks on the Edit button, which in turn pops up an edit window   Now then, what I'm looking for: Is when the user clicks on the Finish button, the pop window should close and reload the grid data to refresh. Currently, I am not able to find any popup close service and also if there is a page refresh contained mashup navigates to the home page instead of staying on the mashup with the grid where the user was editing the row. Not to mention this is requiring a number of service calls I wish to avoid making.   Any hint on how to close the pop-up and s

Hi,   While publishing Process Plan I need to publish Reference Documents attached to Operations as well, but unfortunately, the system does not collect them. I have no issue with Describe Documents which are collected, but for Reference Documents, it seems that this functionality is not working. I have looked on ESI preferences and Distribution Target configuration but didn't find anything particular - all looks fine at first glance. Does anyone know if there is something that needs to be set up in order to publish Reference Documents? Some preference, property?   Screenshots attached. Windchill 11.1 MO20

In vuforia studio,Is there anyway to check attributes or method associated with application parameter. example :- In "$scope.app.params" , after params what all possible attributes are available.    

What is the best method for copying workflows, lifecycles and teams to new names at the org level? We are building new Windchill systems and need to take the default workflows, lifecycles and teams and copy them per the Best Practices so any PTC changes will not overwrite our modified ones. There is no copy and paste like other elements to make the process easy. Export and Import after editing the XML?    

I am doing a rehost and the file vault paths are changing.  I don't want it to copy vault data (we have already created stub files in the new location). Can I not just specify the fv path (source and target) but not copy the vault files? Hiya,   (Mathcad Noob here 🙂 ) I'm trying to get Mathcad Prime to do a relatively simple plot using an adjacency matrix and homogeneous data points. In Matlab I can do this quite simple like so:       Which results in this:   Now if I try to the same in Mathcad I get this (dont mind the 3d plots, just fiddling around):     I'm sure its because I don't know what I'm doing, since I'm still relatively new in mathcad. And it might even not be possible to do in Mathcad. But I was hopeing someone could enlighten me.   Thanx.

I am currently developing an experience in Vuforia Studio and the AR experience will be shown on Vuforia View.Can I perform the translation or rotation by only using touch gestures but not using the slider? It is similar to the examples in the Vuforia View, Helicopter Assembly, as it allows the users to move or rotate or zoom the helicopter by fingers.

I would like to bind events when developing for the Hololens. E.g make a Gauge visible with a hand gesture or voice command in the Hololens. However I do not get any services available when trying to bind it.(ref attachment)

Hi,   I know that in Vuforia Studio you can 'Require Authentication' for an experience. In this scenario you must have a user account in Thingworx, and enter the appropriate credentials, before being able to view the experience. My question relates to making multiple experiences private.  How do you ensure that a Thingworx user has access to one experience but not to other.   Question 1: If there are two distinct clients with two distinct AR experiences hosted on the same Experience Service, how do you make sure they can not view each others experiences?   Cheers, Laura

Hi there,I connected and show the data from Thingworx successfully. However, the format of the data is not quite desirable.For example, the data grabbed by Thingworx is '2230' and the data type is Word, but I want to show it in this way: '22.30 Hz'.So, I am trying to write a script to perform the modification by using concat() and split() for manipulating the string.The problem is, whenever I tried to modify the external data from Thingworx, the Vuforia View crashed as shown in figure below. Even I just assign the external data to a variable, the same issue will occur.For example,var y = $scope.app.mdl['myThing'].properties['myProperty'];Is there any method that I can modify the data?

Hi,  I use Collection to display a list of items ,  each item has a Delete button as following.  If delete one of the items,  I need to refresh the Collection  so that only display 2 items.    But how can I notify the collection to be refreshed from it's inner/contained mashup ?   I didn't found any event or mashup parameters can be used for this .    Session parameter may solve it, but is there a elegant solution ?    __________ _________ _________ | | | | | | | Delete | | Delete | |Delete | |________| |________| |________|   Regards, Sean
