I'm currently providing my collection widget mashups through a service that provides: the mashup name, the width, the height, and some extra text. I want my FlowLayoutGravity property to be "Edge" but when I set that the first cell is correctly on the left, but additional cells are being pushed to the right and leaving space in between cells that is not desired. What am I doing wrong here?

Is there a way with in Vuforia Studio to access the list of uploaded resources via scripting in Home.js? I'm struggling to find in depth documentation on the scripting capabilities within Vuforia Studio. I know the parameters can be accessed by $scope.app.params so I'd think the resources would also be able to be accessed similarly but the syntax isn't intuitive and without documentation it's difficult to figure out.

Hello All.   I'm new to creo parametric and have found a small problem with the assembly I'm working on.   I've added a sketch to an exisiting assembly to use as a reference in a drawing for the path of a moving part. The issue I'm having is that I can't see the sketch in the assembly file to edit it after it's been created, however it is showing up in the drawing so it does exist in the file somewhere.   I'd also like to hide the sketch in certain drawing views which I haven't been able to do. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.   Ian    

I've a few models, parts and assemblies, where I need to press regenerate, more than one time, to complete the regenerate process. can you explain me, why I need to press more  than one time, the regeneration icon?

Is there any way, hopefully a simple way, to reorganize the order in which things show on the Details page of a CN?  For example, I would like to move the Associated Reference Objects from the bottom to just after the Attributes.  

I am not sure if this is the best place to post this, but PTC University has no tech support or dedicated forum. I hope someone here can help me out or direct me to a better locale for a solution.   I am a design engineer and I am attempting to set up one of our new hires on PTC University for training with Creo 5. I am currently set up as an eLearning administrator. My new hire has made an account with PTC and we have registered our customer number and service contract number on his account. However, he is unable to access or view courses on PTC University Enterprise, and I cannot add him to my company group to assign courses to him. I previously reached out to our service contractor for help, but to no avail.   Hope somebody here can help!

Hi,   After connecting KEPServerEX 6 to ThingWorx (isConnected property is true) I want to import tags from devices running in Kepware to properties. Although I the the error of "Unable to execute service BrowseGroups on name of industrial thing" as seen in the picture below. What can be the root cause of this? I get the same error when I try the manage remote bindings on the deviceThing. Thank you in advance  

Hi, everyone. Here's hoping someone recognizes this problem.   I have a simple assembly with an arm and a spring. I want to make a motion study measuring the force from the spring in the tangential direction that the arm is moving. To do this, I've set up some measures for the force of the spring, as well as some position measures that allow me to calculate the force component in the relevant direction. I've then set up a user-defined measure that looks like this:   Spring_load * X_coord / Spring_length   The Spring_loas measure is a Net Load measure for the spring. The X_coord and Spring_length measures are position measures.   So far so good. I can run a Dynamic Analysis and calculate my measure. I can pull up a graph and see how it behaves over the analysis time. But now I want to do an optimization study for this. To do this, I create a Motion Analysis. Found a similar question posted in the community in the following link: https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/is-it-possible-modify-login-page/td-p/516808 We are unclear as to how the SSO can be achieved. Can you please help us out with a detailed explanation? Also, If we create an external Login page and SSO into ThingWorx, can we still control and maintain the user, usergroup, Visibility, run time and design time controls via ThingWorx?  

Good morning we face a problem today in our compagny,   we are working on big machines (between 4000 and 8000 items) during the day people open different simplified representations, and sometime  at the end, their workspace is filled with 4000 items they don't want to erase items from their workspace to avoid to reload everything from Windchill our comfiguration is one Master Server 1000 km from us and a replica hier on site, with a synchronisation of data every night. We are in Creo P4 M90 + Windchill10.2  M30 cps25   when we close and start again Creo (parametric4) , the "synchronisation" take between 5 to 8 minutes I mean by "synchronisation" the time between the Windchill login and the acces to the workspace in Creo I suppose that this is a "synchronisation" problem because with 100 part in a workspace , Creo open in 15 secondes! my question is  : what Can I do for that? ptc ticket?, check some setting in Config.pro/sup? our network spee

I am seeing this same behavior with the defaultMapicon on the google maps widget.  I have created a new user group and added it to a global group and organization that has visibility and Run Time access to the Google Map Thing.  I did not actually see a resolution even though it states it is solved.

Hi, I am using the File upload widget to upload the files into system repository.   How to validate the chosen file name is already available into repository before click on upload button?. Could you please give the steps how to validate?. Currently what is happening is its overriding existing file if file name is same.   Thank you in advance....      Regards, Latha

I'm trying to setting up creo, for vbapi. I've followed the steps in VBUG.pdf file.   1st- Add the environment variable PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE =C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 5.0.0.0\Common Files\x86e_win64\obj\pro_comm_msg.exe   2nd- Then I run the file: C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 5.0.0.0\Parametric\bin\vb_api_register.bat   Then I should be able to add the references to my vb projetc. But there is no COM references for CREO.   What am I missing?

Hello, I am able to showcase a model in Thingview, when I am selecting model in Thingview it replicate it on Tree and List, but when I am selecting model in Tree or List widget it's not selecting in Thingview. (I am able to select .prt files only) Can someone tell me is there any procedure to do that? How can I select .ASM file in Thingview and Tree? Please find attached image file for reference.

Hi,    The device I need to connect sents out its data via TCP socket request, not websocket request.  My idea is to use PAT to get the data. PAT supports websocket by default,  I can wrap the tcp packet as websocket request ( or any other channel PAT supports ) then sent it to PAT, but the more straightforward way is to create a custom Channel in PAT I think.      But I don't know how to register a custom Channel and how to config it in connector.conf .  Is there a guide for creating custom channel ?    Regards, Sean
