Hi,    With Java SDK I got error message:  22:10:38.183 [main] ERROR c.t.c.client.things.VirtualThing - Unable To Update Subscribed Events For DeviceTestThing : Thingworx message size too large: 1887322:10:41.216 [main] ERROR c.t.c.client.things.VirtualThing - Unable To Update Subscribed Events For DeviceTestThing : Thingworx message size too large: 37541 The message in the event contains about 300 lines,  is there a way to adjust the message size ?    Regards, Sean     

Hi there,   how can I tell the CAD worker to NOT delete the files in the working directory after the publishing job is done?   I would need to have a look into those files for debugging purposes. We use Windchill 11.0 M030.   Thank you in advance.   Best regards Chris

I have installed Manufacturing Apps 8.4 on Thingwox 8.4.2-b2151 and I was able to configure the first industrial connector using the Welcome organization. Now I am getting a blank page when I try to connect to the PTC.FactoryConsole and the following error in the application log:   [message: Unable to Invoke Service QueryDataTableEntriesLocalized on PTC.FactoryConsole.DataTable : Invalid format: "permanent"] What could it be?    

Can someone help me with the attached snippet from the CREO 3.0 training? When I click "Hole" from the Engineering group, I don't see "Datum" or "Axis". Is it on a different tab?

This customer reported that they see Non-Matching Variant during Configure steps for a configurable part.But they don't know why. Referred article CS133666, I understand that structure and IBAs are checked.However I cannot reproduce to show Non-Matching Variant by changing IBA of child or usagelink.Could anyone tell me simple way to create Non-Matching Variant without changing structure? Hello PTC community,   I am attempting to make a menu that acts as a tab system where one tab (menuEntry) opens a pop-up (mashup) that takes in data that is used to create another tab (specifically the tab title for right now), and all of the other created tabs generate a mashup.   The problem is my first tab is failing to create any pop-up. I am seeing the warning:   "WARN - runtime conversion error converting "test.mashup.popup" from STRING to BOOLEAN, converting to undefined"   each time I attempt to click on the tab. I am wondering if this warning is related to my issue, though I am not sure how to resolve this warning. Any help would be much appreciated. 

Hello Friends,   I have question about. How can i open CED 20.1 version files in CED 18.0 ?   Is there any option to do it. It is there the option of CGRI in Creo Parametric. I have some files created in CED 20.1 version. Now the other subsidiary company wants to access those files but they are using CED 18.0.   Please help if some one have gone through such phase.    

Actually, i am working on a differential which getting some forces from pinion.   These forces would make an impact on the body to rotate bolt in x-direction.   So, i want to hold the bolt in x-direction of rotation to see the effects of forces.   But as i am doing this i am geeting a warning that these constrainsts wont make any effect.    Ihow should i move forward to analyse the case correctly 

Hello, This is a general question about best practices/ troubleshooting.   Is there a way to troubleshoot Vuforia View on the HoloLens? Projects often perform differently from the way they did in the Vuforia preview window. It is nice to use Chrome Developer tools to troubleshoot the preview, is there a similar way to access the error messages and console that might be hidden on the HoloLens itself?   At this point, the only method I have to use is trial & error. I try something different in my code and then re-publish to the HoloLens. I wish there was a way to see what exactly is going on.   Thanks for any tips -- even if they are odd, resourceful or creative! Wes

I am trying to create a parametric udf consisting of a tool no. and that tool no. has to be in an oval shaped box as shown. The problem is that, if i change the tool number value, the oval shaped box gets cancelled.  Is there some way in which I can automatically change the the box dimensions whenever the parametric udf text increases. In short is there any way in which i can make the box length dependent on the udf text length? I tried using relations but could not get it.

Hi,I have created an application but whenever i use the url of the mashup in a web browser. i am prompted to login to thingworx composer. This makes it hard from business point of view as i dont want to share the composer credentials. Is there a way to disable the login prompt. Tried Methods: We have a customized login page in our application built on thingworx.Using an organisation doesn’t grant me the option to edit or customize the login screen.   Queries 1.Is there a way to customize the organisation login page?2.If not is there anything that I can do to remove composer login prompt from appearing when users access my application url.3.In case I use the application key (not recommended method). I can only add one user and not a group and he will have all access over the composer. Which i don’t want.   Please provide your suggestions on the above.   Thanks, Kishore  

Hi All,   I encountered a problem with the latest version of the View app on HoloLens after the update to 8.4.1 came late last week.   I had an experience created that used a textured model created from an FBX file.  The experience was working fine on the HoloLens using View 8.4.0, but after the update to 8.4.1, the view app crashes out when loading up the model .  I had to create a new version of the experience that doesn't have any textures and that loads up fine.   This happened on 3 different HoloLens's all running the latest version of Windows and 2 of them have been recently reset with nothing on them apart from the View app.   It's not a memory issue as the performance graph from the device portal shows.  You can see the the loading, and then the plateau when the app crashes and the drop when it exits out of view which is still way below the memory limit:   It's not a global problem, as I have other experiences with textures that loa

I am very new to Windchill and am acting as the admin for my company. Several people want to be able to sort promotion requests by who it was created by in the My Tasks table. There is no "Created By" column option in the customize view. From my understanding, I should be able to create an attribute in the "Work Item" section of the Type and Attribute Management utility. However, I cannot seem to get this to work. Can somebody provide instructions on getting this attribute to work correctly and show up in the customize options for My Tasks.   Thanks in advance.

Hi,     I want to apply StateDefinition only for 1 Column. So, I applied StateDefinition to a particular Column and it's working fine. But, when ever I'm hover over on the table It's showing the default one. Can anyone suggest how to apply StateDefinition for RowHoverStyle also?

Hi All,   I had create my project in a older Thingworx version, it works fine. I can create the query. when i migrate to a New version 8.4.2 ? I am not able to create a query. the arrow seem different?? Can anyone guide me? Not sure if there is a change in step to create query?  Please do direct me to any tutorial or document which show how to do it. Hi, I am using textbox validator widget and when the input is invalid I had given a red colour style definition to the textbox validator property. But when I change the style definition to some other colour, the next time it still appears red (the colour I assigned first). I tried with several style definition but the invalid style still appears the same. How can I resolve this?   Thanks, Shalini V.

Hello,   I am encounring errors when trying to run analysis based on Events, i've published my model and when i test it i get results as i should (image 1) but when i map the data and enable the event i keep getting this error : Throwable Error Executing Event Handler for event Type.Thing:Entity.TW.AnalysisServices.AnalyticsServer.AnalyticsServerConnector:Event.JobResultsAvailable : nul on the application Log and results are returned too the mapped Data.   If someon can provide some help in the matter that would be great.   Thenk you.

Hi,  For a header or footer in the layout widget, if mark "ShowExpandCollapseTabs" then the header/footer can be expanded or collapsed , and the remain area in the web page can be adjusted automatically.      But how to create multiple ExpandCollapseTabs  like the attached picture ?   The Folder Pannel cannot get this as it won't adjust the size of the remain area when expanding or collapsing.     Regards, Sean

Is it possible to add "clickable" links to websites in a Vuforia View HoloLens Experience? They could be opened with Microsoft Edge.

I am using the default organization login functionality of Thingworx.  If the user successfully login then it redirects the master mashup. But, if I entered the login page mashup URL it's loading the login page again instead of redirecting to mashup how in a normal application.  Is it possible if the user is already authenticated then we can redirect to master mashup based user organization?

Hi,   I want to create an login page for my organization and login using username and password.   I have followed the instructions at http://support.ptc.com/cs/help/thingworx_hc/thingworx_6.5_hc/index.jspx?id=FormLoginPagesforOrganizations&action=show   I have been able to create a Login page but what username and password should I use for successful login?   The link above descibed as   #8.Type your Name and Password.   But I am not sure which username and password to enter.   Please Help.   Thanks, shreekant  

I am trying to set focus back to a Textbox after a service runs in a modal popup.  Tab sequence is set to 1, so it does put cursor in the Textbox when the mashup is loaded, but not after a service is run.  I have tried several things to no avail.   Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
