Hello guys,   I'd like some help with some questions I'm facing based on the GoogleMaps Extension and the Thingworx data structure and how they interact with each other: - How to store data such as routes defined by the user in the GoogleMaps Widget; - Track vehicles circulating along these routes; - User defined stops added that are independent (multiples routes can have the same stop) and how to store them. Basically, I need help understanding WHAT these entities will be and HOW they will be stored (remembering that they will be defined by the user).

Hi, can someone help me, I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong in this.  The error I get is that the value must be a scalar.

So I am getting no help from my open call with PTC (I haven't heard back from them in almost a week) or my VAR right now on this issue.  I export a CSV out of Windchill for my template so that I can fill out my PartsLink structure and import it back in.  However when I get to the point of using the command to convert the CSV to an XML file so I can import it, I get an error that says the Header sequence did not match expected header sequence.  When I search it, I get a CS number that says the header should be a certain way, but it is nowhere close to what came out of Windchill in the first place.  That makes absolutely no sense to me.  It should be export what you want imported.   All I need is a good CSV file that has the correct headers so that I can use as a template.  I am on Windchill 11.0 m030-cps11.  Does anyone have a CSV template file with the correct headers that you can share with me?  I do not want to build this by entering every

Why the tolerance option is disable on some of my drawings ( not on every drawing ) ? I did turn on the tol_display as yes , Still didn't work . I would really appreciate if somebody help me on this ?

Use ProFeatureElemtreeExtract() to get a copy of tree: no errors.2. create variable: ProElempathItem depthTypePath[] = { {PRO_ELEM_PATH_ITEM_TYPE_ID, {PRO_E_EXT_DEPTH_TO_TYPE} } }; and use it for ProElempathAlloc() + ProElempathDataSet() + ProElemtreeElementGet() Here I got an error:ProElemtreeElementGet returns code: PRO_TK_E_NOT_FOUNDAnd further call of ProElementIntegerGet() returns 0 instead of 262144.I think, I don't know how to create a proper structure of ProElempathItem .I tried to find info in UG and examples, but it's still not clear to me. Hi,   I had a BlueScreenOfDeath while working on in Vuforia Studio.  Since then, Vuforia Studio would not start.  I have rebooted, repaired and uninstalled/rebooted/reinstalled - and still have the same problem. Can someone review the logs and suggest my next steps ? I am trying to save the animated result of a static simulation. Every website, including PTC, says to select "Movie" from the "Save As" menu. I do not see this option. How do I save/export FEA results in Creo 5?   I am using Creo 5.0.4.0 on Windows 7.

Hi,   This issue is really testing me right now.Yesterday I had this issue, couldn't get ThingWorx to launch - url returned "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found." Through a combination of restarts and clearing the cache I got it working, did my configuration in Thingworx, got data moving into my mashup etc...Then I installed the Experience Service, still everything in thingworx was working - I was able to connect from local and remote (external IP).   Today - nothing was working, Tomcat was shutting down automatically. Moved the "-Djava.library.path=C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 9.0\webapps" to Windows Environmental Settings. Tomcat then started and stayed running. I still get Error 404 on the http://Localhost:80/Thingworx/  (yes, I used port:80 on the tomcat install).   I've attached the Thingworx Platform logs, Tomcat Logs & Platform-Settings.json.   This is all hosted on my own Azure VM, Windows Server 2016.   An

I have a follow up question on this. GetCurrentUserGroups returns a list of Groups the user is directly assigned to, it does not take nested hierarchical groups into account. E. g. I have two groups: Managers and Operators, Managers are member of Operators. But for any Manager the Operators Group is not listed, only the Managers Group itself.   My ultimate goal is to check whether a user is member of a given group to identify permission level.

Hello,  I'm a solidworks convert, and is used to drawing a sketch and then making a feature(extrude, revolve) because sometimes halfway through I decided I want to change the feature type and that's how I am used to doing this. Well, new job(mentoring engineers and draftsman) prefers to start with a feature so the used sketch doesn't show up in the model tree. Is there a way to embed the used sketch if I forget and do it the old way. I know it is possible to hide in the model tree but this is not what they want and I'm not going to argue on something like this as its a half dozen or 6 to me. Just trying to keep my self from having to remodel when I forget.   Thanks

Hi everyone!   How to fill in the configuration for the Access database, does anyone know? I tried (see screenshot), but obviously wrong. There is no example for this database in the Relational Databases Connectors Extension.   And is it possible to connect to Excel (as a database) in the same way? Hi,  I have question about the query performance for Data Table and Stream.    In PostgreSQL, the Data Table and Stream has the following table structure:    DataTable Stream Columns entry_id|entity_id|entity_key|source_id|source_type|tags|time|field_values|full_text|location entry_id|entity_id|source_id|source_type|tags|time|field_values|full_text|location Index entity_keyfield_values (entity_id, time)entity_id Constraints entry_id(entity_id, entity_key) (entity_id,source_id,time,source_type)   According to the  comparing above , the questions are :  According to the offical document , for the Data Table,  "Anything greater than 100,000 rows will gradually begin to cause queries to perform slower".   Is it same for Stream ?    The Data Table has index on field_values while Stream doesn't ,  Does it means the query performance on the field of Data Shape for data table should be much faster than Stream us

Hi,   Unfortunately, I have 2 problems regarding an import with the Connector:   1.) I try to import some ReqIF files, which were exported from IBM DOORS before and I always get the same errors. With some files i get an Excel error: "Class Excel.Sheet.12 currently not supported for presentation header!"   A few days ago i got a similar error regarding Visio Drawings: "Class Visio.Drawing.15 currently not supported for presentation header!"   There are some drawings and tables included in the export data, so it doesn´t surprise me. But this data was also included in former export files, where it didn´t throw any error message at all.   Is there any option to get rid of the error to perform a successful import?   2.) I try to import a date field from IBM DOORS where the export type of the date field is "01.01.2019 00:00:00". I would like to import this date by mapping it to a date field in PTC, which already exists.  The problem here is that as far as I

Hello,   Maybe I'm missing something obvious-- but each time I create a new figure, the sequence within my already created figure is erased. Is there a step where I need to save this? The program is behaving oddly:   1) Create Figure 1 with a sequence of 10 steps 2) Create Figure 2, and suddenly all the steps disappear from Figure 1 3) Save a copy of Figure 1, all of the steps reappear - with all 3 Figures now having the same steps 4) Delete or add a step from one figure, and the change is reflected in the other two figures 5) Create another new figure. All the steps disappear again from the other figures (why?)     Thanks for your help, Wes

Hi ,  My customer has 700 devices connected to ThingWorx in factory A.  The customer wants to has another 1000 devices in factory B  connected to ThingWorx next year. Single server may not stand it , so I'm thinking the horizontal scalability.  I only found guide for high available deployment but didn't find guide for horizontal scalability deployment ,  does ThingWorx support cluster deployment for horizontal scalability ?    Regards, Sean

Hello, I just updated to the latest Vuforia Studio, and found that I could select and move multiple 3D Images and/or 3D Labels. The glitch is that these movements are not saved, and do not show up in the preview.   The only way to move multiple things (3D Images or 3D labels) is to move each one individually. It would be great if a new version could be released soon to fix this glitch, because selecting and moving multiple things can save time and accuracy, especially if you are trying to arrange rectangular widgets in a list or grid-layout with the HoloLens.   Has anyone else noticed this? What is the best place in the ptc community to submit new product ideas for Vuforia Studio? Would this be it? // I would like to see the ability to organize uploaded resources by folder, because in some instances a single giant list becomes large and hard to search through. This of course would require a sort of folder browser when selecting a resource for a widget.   Thanks
