Using the attached QML, I was able to retrieve the users assigned to their respective licenses. However, the report is also returning the associated team roles along with the license or group names to which the licenses are mapped.Do you have any suggestions on how to exclude all team roles from the report? Although the criteria section technically allows filtering out roles, it is not practical to identify every possible role and create separate criteria entries for each one.

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: To use the IFX library in the Creo for the Windchill fasteners and Also want to build standard fasteners library in the windchill from Fasteners available in the Creo IFX library.Description: Want to upload standard fasteners from the Creo IFX library to the windchill and also want IFX to fetch and use the fasteners form the windchill libraries when designer is using IFX tool in the Creo. But in the windchill the custom numbering scheme is configured for the standard parts in the windchill library. so also want to maintain that numbering scheme for the fasteners and they should be used by IFX library in the Creo when designer wants to assemble any fastener in his assembly.What configurations are needed to implement this functionality ? and how to do this ?Also is it possible to map the Creo parameter of the fastener parts directly to the windchill partslink classification attributes ? Versions : Windchill 13.0.2.6 and Creo 11.0.0.0

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: We might have a requirement that will necessitate us to model the various machine setups of a machine , and use them for the operation as applicable, in the process plan.Description: Apparently, this requirement could be solutioned in many ways. for eg., 1. Use "Configurable Work Center" and use Set up variables captured as Option > Choices, then use the parameters of the process / requirements to give the setup required.2. Use Classification for the work center and pre create the instances of the work centers, with those values.3. OthersIt depends on the number of parameter variables and complexity, which I am yet to see the data. Wanted to hear from you experts on if you had come across such use cases and how was it solutioned.Even before that, I hope that Work center object can work as configurable item. I don't see the option "Add to workspace" in windchill commonspace. Other users in our organization have icon for this option at the location marked in the attached file. Is there any setting required to activate this option?Please guide me to resolve this issue.Regards,Kandarp

Seems to be lack of user involvement. When you setup a Audit Log Purge Schedule task, you can pick options for what to keep. Typically, if you are purging, you want to get rid of older records, keeping only items within some time period. The criteria and frequency should align. For example, what is the point of running a purge of last year with a frequency of every two weeks?  Aside from manual dates run on a one-time schedule, the only ones that make sense would be to purge last year on a yearly schedule or Last month on a monthly schedule. No option if I want to keep last 3 months which would align with a quarterly schedule. Has anyone looked into modifying the Duration drop down for add more options?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.0.2We intend to extract all relevant information and generate a consolidated file that maps each manufacturer part to its corresponding impacted end part (Commercial Reference Part, i.e., WTPart). Our system currently contains approximately 100,000 manufacturer parts, and this activity will ensure complete traceability and alignment between manufacturer parts and associated WTParts.While the query performs correctly for individual parts, it does not scale effectively for large datasets.When executed for the complete dataset of approximately 45000 manufacturer parts, the query requires more than 12 hours and still does not complete the report generation. The performance degradation makes the current approach impractical for production use or recurring data extraction activities.

Version: Windchill 12.0   Use Case: Installed CPS 12.0.2.26 Try to Stop Windchill Service (e.g. for backup purposes) Description: When I try to stop Windchill service within "Services" or by running 'sc stop "PTC Windchill"', it would not stop correctly.  In "Services" I get an Error 1053:   'sc stop "PTC Windchill"' just reports "STOP PENDING", but nothing more (no additional error message).   After around 4 minutes, the service finally stops, but I guess, that windows just terminates all corresponding processes after a certain time.   MethodServer.log reports several [Servlet engine stop] wt.system.err - WARNING: The web application [Windchill] appears to have started a thread named [xyz] but has failed to stop it. This is very likely to create a memory leak. Stack trace of thread:   I updated JDK vom 11.0.13 to 11.0.30, but nothing changed.

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I have noticed it is possible to allocate the same part instance object into multiple different parent part instances.Description: In reality, this would never happen. It should only be possible for a part instance to be allocated into one parent part instance. Does anybody know if it is possible to prevent Windchill from assigning a single part instance into multiple different parent part instances?
