A preview of something that is being tested within CREOSON, looking for feedback and ideas.Keep these questions in mind as you read:Do I (or my company) care about my data going to someone else’s AI / Cloud? What use cases, processes, interfaces cause pain today? How could this change my day? Why do I care? The intent is to provide a FREE AI MCP (Model Context Protocol) interface within CREOSON that enables your AI Agents to connect to and drive Creo Parametric either as a specific set of contextual tasks - or within the context of other systems/environment workflows (e.g. YOUR models, standards, documents, EPR, PLM, etc.).  Seems like this would be super powerful, and provide a lot of utility. This screen capture is an example of an AI Agent validating a connection to a new CREOSON MCP Endpoint (prototype currently). CREOSON - AI MCP Endpoint First Connection Test ResultThe CREOSON MCP Server enables you to choose/bring your own AI (Commercial Platform or Local AI).  The screenshot abo

Hi Team,I have installed ThingWorx Platform 10.2 and Connected Work Cell (CWC) 10.2. The CWC installation completed successfully, and all required extensions were imported successfully. However, when I open the ThingWorx Applications landing page, the header and All Applications (9-square) icon are displayed, but the landing page is completely blank. None of the expected application tiles/icons are displayed.I have verified the following:CWC installation completed successfully. CWC extensions were imported successfully. The COREUI landing page and Master Container mashups are present. PTC.FSU.COREUI.MenuConfiguration.MasterContainer_EP loads successfully. The All Applications icon is visible, but clicking it does not display any applications. I am testing with the Administrator user. Administrator is already a member of PTC.CWC.Default_UG. Browser Network requests checked during page load are returning HTTP 200. The landing page itself remains blank. When I checked the Session section in

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.1 and Datecode with CPS 13.1.3.4 I am looking to better understand how as a partner we can develop a custom Wincom Extension for a specific customer with an on-prem deployment using the EDK and any licensing that applies. Current PTC FAQs direct questions to edk@wincom-plm.com however after the acquisition of Wincom I am not sure whom to contact for more information.

Hello,PTC article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS44898?source=search mentiones the steps. But this needs to be manually updated.Situation:Need to restrict Creo license on server level.Server A = Advance Creo LicenseServer B = Basic Creo LicenseSome users use advance and some users use basic licenses.Need help with below:1. Is there a automatic way to restrict licenses for set of users?2. Solution from PTC suggests that its a manual filter list of .opt file to be maintained. Is there way to make it automate the list?If new user joins the name has to be added to list, if user leaves company the name has to be removed.Awaiting for responses.

My colleague and I got a new laptop. We are using Creo 10.0.4.0, connected to Windchill. With this new install the column “Windchill Server Status” is very wide, and much wider than 8, which it should be according to the "Model Tree Columns” settings. Also, the value of 8 cannot be changed, it is greyed out. The other widths can be changed without issues. What is wrong? What should we change to bring the column width of "Windchill Server Status” back to 8?

When a user accepts a Workspace update notification, the information from the Commonspace is reflected in the Workspace. However, we believe that it is difficult for users to understand the potential impact of the update based solely on the current notification message. In particular, when CAD data is being edited or when unsaved changes exist, accepting the update may cause users to perceive that in-progress attribute changes or name changes have been lost. Therefore, we would like to request an enhancement to the Workspace update notification so that it more clearly informs users of the following:・The update may affect unsaved changes or changes currently being edited.・Information from the Commonspace will be applied to the Workspace. This improvement would help users better understand the possible impact before accepting a Workspace update notification.

windchill 13.0.2 Hi All,We have a requirement to perform a one-time export of WTDocuments along with their primary and secondary content for all revisions.Currently, our utility takes an input date and identifies the closest/relevant WTDocument revision based on that date, then downloads the primary and secondary content associated with that revision. For the new one-time export approach, we are considering exporting:All WTDocuments All revisions of each WTDocument Primary content for each revision Secondary content/attachments for each revisionHowever, since each WTDocument can have multiple revisions and associated content, exporting the content for all revisions could result in a very large volume of data. What is the recommended approach in Windchill for handling this type of bulk export? Is there any standard or recommended API, utility, or approach for efficiently exporting primary and secondary content across all revisions of WTDocuments? Also, are there any recommended strategies t

I am using PTC RV&S (formerly Integrity Lifecycle Manager) Release 12.5 and Datecode12.5.0.0 We are working on a migration project. Currently we are facing some issue with Gateway Export. Here are the errors that I faced For few of the field names we have parenthesis(), so when we include that field name in custom template in a if condition, there we are getting error while exporting. For Example:- Field Name:- Suspect Trace Count(Calculation) For this field name we are getting and error saying... Field name must be specified in { and }: {Suspect Trace Count. Also we have few more fields which is having Parenthesis ( ), so wherever we have that ( ) symbol, it is troughing the error there while exporting.

Creo does not follow the Windows convention of taskbar status following to the monitor where the window is located.  This causes slow downs in workflow, and is how every single other modern windows program works.  Can Creo be updated to follow this convention?

Hello everyone,We sometimes run analyses (simulations) in Inventor.Occasionally, the analysis data disappears from the WFS folder.PTC Support investigated the issue and found that it occurs when the WGM process is force-terminated from Task Manager. They also told us that recovering the data after it disappears is difficult. This is a problem for us because Inventor analysis files depend on their folder location relative to the CAD model.Once the files are lost from the WFS folder, we have to re-run the analysis, and with large datasets this can take a long time.Have any Inventor users found a good way to avoid or work around this issue?Any advice would be appreciated.Thank you.

Our windchill is installed with organization level uniqueness which is not preventing the creation of duplicates parts across organization product or library contexts. The initial installation was from years ago i.e WC 9 environment and we are at 12.1 now moving to 13.1. PTC TS saying it is not possible to switch uniqueness settings from org to site as part of upgrade, it seems the switch was possible until 12.1 during WC upgrade cycles. Let me know if anyone found a non-customization solution to switch the uniqueness setting so that we can avoid users creating duplicate parts/docs/epms
